This got me thinking - how did Kenjaku turn Tengen into a fetus?

Is it symbolic for age regression?

It it the effect of his domain?

Kenjaku's domain expansion is called womb profusion - which could be taken as bountiful or extravagant womb.

The headless adult bodies could represent the loss of self, or maybe the absence of a mother.

What Kenjaku did with Tengen feels very similar to Geto's curse manipulation - to absorb the spirit and take use of its power.

Is Kenjaku's ability basically the same as curse manipulation - but with sorcerers? Is that a reason why he was after Geto for his CT?

Or is Kenjaku blending Geto's CT with something else to take Tengen like this?

This might be a reach but yk how Sukuna got to restore himself one time without RCT, by transforming from megkuna to his true form?

I wonder if Megumi getting his own body back might have a similar effect.

Also the slime thing w sukuna feeds into the amacha bath theory - that Yuuji would essentially give Megumi a baptism.

This detail feels like a massive clue too, but I'm not sure what to make of it.

Megumi’s soul is not his brain, so the effects of UV would be different. Sukuna’s “brain” was LITERALLY Megumi’s, Megumi’s body was Sukuna’s vessel. That’s why 5 UV’s to Megumi’s soul didn’t have the same effect as it did on the brain.

Oh fudge you’re right. And right before Nobara nailed him, Sukuna damaged his (Megumi’s) brain to reset his burnt out cursed technique for the domain expansion. Sukuna was in the middle of healing it and then he got torn to shreds.

But if the soul is also the body then shouldn’t soul UV still have the same effect? Are we lowballing Megumi’s brain damage?

In a different post I joked about Gojo and Sukuna twinning their brain damage, but that’s also Megumi’s brain damage now…

Realized that I subconsciously believe

-sukuna taught Uraume sorcery, including RCT

-B.O.B from twin peaks inspired kenjaku. (Sukuna is Laura). The end of jjk might be like the end of tps2 - the mirror scene - idk man it feels right, I was CONVINCED there's foreshadowing that Gojo would become Sukuna's vessel too.

-kenjaku and Tengen are Sukuna's parents, or grandparents. I have a post about their relationships in the drafts, bc I should include receipts I guess.

They aren't rly hills that I would die on. Just things that... I found myself believing in on accident.

Bc Sukuna can share awareness around his cursed objects (if they aren't sealed, afaik). And by the end, Megumi was no longer just dissociating in his innate domain. It's likely for him to know what Sukuna knows.

Which is how I was justifying the news about Toji etc (but just that, Sukuna learned about it during Gojo's afterlife scene- however)

It makes sense that conversations are being had around Sukuna's last finger. Buuutt I rly thought it was foreshadowed that in the end, Gojo becomes Sukuna's vessel (idk man, at this point I feel a lil insecure about that) - BUT if Megumi picks up on that resonance, on the fact that Gojo is actually very alive (I feel like he would want to preserve the last artifact, at least. I can't be convinced that he did try to hollow purple the fingies in the first place (though sukuna or Kenjaku may have placed a vow on them for protection) bc not even Satoru Gojo was aware of Kenjaku or his plan to manipulate a vessel into eating them).

And so, Sukuna's last finger is aware of Hiromi living, which makes Megumi know this, and Yuuji has that uncertain reaction. Like, I didn't put this here. (idk man idk what's going on).

Whether they're dying or fine, it seems like Megumi is going along with Yuuji's dream, subconsciously adding world-building elements to it himself - like how during kenjaku and Takaba's fight, there was soul resonance between them, yet they were still able to surprise each other.

Hell, maybe sukuna got to the airport as Gojo was leaving and decided to eat the last finger (it doesn't sound like any of them are in Sukuna's remains, considering how they turned like ash). The fact that Sukuna got no afterlife scene is suspicious - though I'm not sure whether he gets one at all, if any of his fingers are still out there.

I wonder if the absence / appearance of Yuuji's fingers, Megumi's scar, is based on how they view one another and themselves.

Yuuji's domain seemed to have that effect on sukuna - whether he appeared as Yuuji's doppelganger or in his own form.
