My prediction hope & dream for JJK 266

So far I've been correct on Yuuji's domain being one of non-violence, (although the details I have gathered have yet to be revealed unless this is enough evidence).

and that

Yuuji's talk-no jutsu would be ineffective, but he might be capable of a listen-no-jutsu.

Sukuna can't relate - it probably feels like Yuuji is just rambling about his childhood, showing off how peaceful and carefree it was. Yuuji enjoyed shoveling snow (interesting how much snow came up, since this is important to my theory on Yuuji's domain. I guess it is still December 24th, isn't it? That's crazy. It's been at least 30 chapters by now).

Anyway, they're still in Yuuji's domain. I really, really hope that we get to see Sukuna's childhood next chapter. No one is aware of Sukuna's past, of why he became the monster (I believe it's a desperate grasp for his own autonomy).

Idk whether Gege will give us redemption but I still believe it could bring Choso, Gojo, etc. back.

Yuuji admit to not understanding his own domain, and I think it would be rly cool if Sukuna helps him to develop it. Maybe Sukuna could learn the value of life and connection, since Yuuji has this ability to reach people.

The thing with Choso is that he's like ash, but we don't know the size of Yuuji's domain - Sukuna's lacks a barrier, so I half expect Yuuji to be capable of that as well. Either way, I think his domain could cover the area where Choso's remains were scattered. He and Sukuna have this insane RCT ability, and domains get a can't-miss effect.

I really wanted to see Sukuna vs. the merger, maybe teamed up with the other sorcerers, but at this point I think that between Sukuna's destruction and Yuuji's reconciliation, they might be two halves of a whole that can redeem Japan from the chaos Kenjaku has caused with his merger.

Idk the details these are just thoughts I've gathered since yesterday.

Also we got to see baby Yuuji, show me baby Sukuna 😀 and how he met Uraume and also give me details on Tengen, I want confirmed lore so help me Gege.

If this upset you, then pls:

Listen I love Yuuji, and Megumi, almost everyone tbh (Mei and Mahito and Haruta, idc about u at all) but I also have Strong thoughts & feelings (especially) about Sukuna and I take his pain more personally. I know what I say is often unconventional and polarizing. I'm not saying this is canon, I'm saying that I have a hyperfixation and need to release these thoughts on my own blog. I don't want to start fights, I just like to see different interpretations and share my own. Frankly Yuuji was my first favorite character and I could never hate him. I just spend less time breaking down his perspective lately bc everyone else got that covered.

Ughhhhh you guys I keep thinking about Megumi, the symbolism with the flowers and his shikigami and Yuuji, so here's my uh attempt at interpreting things

Today I read into the flower from ch. 265's use and story with the birth of a Buddha who sounds a lot like Megumi, but at times also Gojo. [link that post]

Anyway,

I've been gathering this theory on Yuuji's domain (elaborated here) - I thought there is significance in the snow and in Fushiguro's rabbits. (the difference is that at this point his domain feels more about escaping than about resurrection. I just remembered Itachi's Genjutsu that gave Kabuto a redemption arc. Getting distracted).

The amount of foreshadowing in JJK is so ogjsjxkckajdj [link to that post as well maybe?]

One of my favorite scenes was in Shibuya, where Yuuji is holding one of Megumi's rabbits and they both make the same face. It's so cute (but at this point I suspect it was a clue).

He's holding onto a way for Megumi to escape, but his domain might also be related to helping others to escape from samsara. [this post really got me thinking about Yuuji and Nirvana. It lives in my brain now].

When I read up on the festival with the flower bath, the description of the elephant sounded like Megumi's shikigami. (there's also the fact that it sprays water, and kinda resembles Yuuji as well).

I think that's all I had to say? Please god make this make sense.

Oh, there's also that Buddha who Yuuji represents (remember the statues w the red cloths at his grandfather's grave? Yeah, that was him too. The hand sign for his domain expansion, etc, I feel like we all know that by now (guardian of souls, purifying hell ((sukuna redemption arc maybe??)), leading others to enlightenment, before worrying about his own chance to become a Buddha).

Also!! The baby Buddha prince who resembles Megumi came out the womb and said that it was his last life, no rebirth - so if my cryogenic theory about Yuuji's domain holds weight, then it could just mean that Megumi won't need to be reborn because he isn't going to die in the first place.

The end of ch. 265

The End Of Ch. 265
The End Of Ch. 265
The End Of Ch. 265
The End Of Ch. 265

-sukuna has a moment of vulnerability w Yuuji (and verbally communicates this gently)

-Yuuji immediately threatens Sukuna. Give up all your autonomy (return to me, the perfect cage that kenjaku made specifically to contain you) or I'll kill you.

Of course Sukuna lashes out. He feels betrayed, probably even by himself for showing a moment of honesty and weakness, and being proven right after that he needs to keep his guard up always and forever.

Ch. 266

The End Of Ch. 265
The End Of Ch. 265

Sukuna is the traumatized kid turned edgelord.

We see over and over again he is not in touch with his emotions, afraid of looking inward, not aware that he feels anything.

The End Of Ch. 265
The End Of Ch. 265

This page of Megumi and Yuuji looks just like the time when Gojo dragged him into the world of jujutsu. He didn't really have a choice - it was to be sold to his family, where Tsumiki would suffer. Or become a sorcerer (which he still resented at the end of middle school). Now Yuuji is trying to do the same thing - but he's offering all he can to understand, to let it be Fushiguro's choice. He's saying I miss you, but I won't guilt you into coming back.

The End Of Ch. 265
The End Of Ch. 265

2 other interesting things in this chapter: the last panel sounds just like Nobara. We've long suspected that the last finger was still hidden (Gojo hid the last finger to suspend Yuuji's execution forever), and that Nobara could return and use her resonance technique on it (she was the last person still recovering who Shoko mentioned, and Yuuji isn't allowed to know because Sukuna might pick up on that. Also why Yuuta lied to Sukuna about eating it).

This post goes more into that, with a foreshadowing image and how i believed Yuuji's domain would be snowy (and there was a lot of snow this chapter). The rest of my predictions for his domain's ability are still unseen, but with Megumi coming back, I have to wonder if it's related (maybe it isn't but I'm too Naruto Influenced).

Maybe Yuuji's way of bringing Megumi back is more like a baptism, as I gathered from the flowers mentioned in ch.265.

This was my prediction for ch. 266 btw

Ok it's time to post about Megumi lmao this was in my drafts for a month

I feel like he connects w Yuuji and Nobara so well bc everyone else expects things of him. Yuuji is quick to praise his peers, and Nobara will throw out judgement. Neither of which is based on his cursed technique.

It's kind of ironic how Toji was punished for having no cursed energy, and his son is doomed by having the ten shadows. Megumi seems to exist for leisure like Sukuna or Nanami - he doesn't look forward to becoming a sorcerer. He couldn't care less. He just wants to be left alone, and he really has no other choice. With no parents, all that remains is the choice between the Zenin clan or Gojo.

I think that their relationship never became a father-son closeness, because Megumi dreaded and resented that Gojo expected Megumi to catch up to him, to be strong. He never asked to be strong, but everyone expects that of Megumi without rly getting to know him. "my precious student" and Megumi threatening to punch Gojo is kind of funny, but kind of sad. Idk. (to be fair I have not read the light novels, I know that Gojo would take Megumi to theme parks or something like that, so he was maybe like an annoying but caring older brother.) I think that Gojo's loneliness drove him to tell his students to catch up, to become stronger than him. Of course he also wanted a strong, understanding generation, capable of restructuring jujutsu society into something that wasn't so destructive toward them.

I think that Sukuna and Megumi can relate to each other a good bit. Abandoned by their parents, deified and put into a separate category from something beyond their control or desires. Despite all their strength, being placed into powerless positions, forced to work for a system that doesn't give a damn about them. They both value personal space, literature, and are constantly challenged and thrust into battle when they aren't in the mood to fight.

You remember when Megumi curled up w Sukuna's finger after defeating the special grade? And Sukuna was like, 'Good, that's very good.' why?

I think Sukuna was glad to see Megumi's domain. Sukuna knows how uncomfortable it feels to be repressed in Yuuji's body, and he gets through it by retreating to his innate domain most of the time, unaware of whatever is happening outside of it.

I might have posted before about how someone like Megumi could have been a symbiotic vessel for sukuna, like angel and Hana, so that's why it was so important for Yuuji to have a carefree life.

ch.265 rly confirmed this - we see that even when Yuuji tries to connect with Sukuna, he has no idea how. He doesn't recognize the signs of emotional scarring from Sukuna's past. Kenjaku made sure of this, I wonder at times if he told Wasuke to give Yuuji a carefree life - when he said "tch, you've had it too easy" that struck me as weird bc bro, you raised him!

I can't think of any time kenjaku thanked someone except for the occult club student, for being kind to his son... It was important for kenjaku's mission. Yuuji was carefully crafted into a perfect cage for sukuna - not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.

I wonder if he had an idea that Kenjaku would step in, when he passed away.

Since JJK has a satisfying ending in 5 chapters,

I have renewed hope for my (Yuuji-centric) cryogenic domain theory. Maybe we'd see the reanimated sorcerers team up with Sukuna against the merger? Which sounds too predictable for Gege - there has to be some crazy twist. (also mentioned here and here).

Another direction could be a Heian era time travel (hear me out)

-Nobara has an awakening (like Gojo) from her near-death experience (she died and Nitta resuscitated her)

-the last fingie of Sukuna is still there (for Nobara to use her new technique on)

-the prison realm is also available (And Hakari even mentioned using it for time travel - - not to mention the?? Chapters he's spent calmly with Uraume. What are they talking about? Uraume was explaining Sukuna, from what I recall, and likely telling Hakari about their past lives, maybe some dirt on kenjaku). Uraume could have some special cursed object around, too.

Normally I would say that time travel is not a satisfying ending, so it doesn't count.... But to see the sorcerers travel back to the Heian era would be interesting.

Tbh since the moment Gojo got sealed, I expected him to break out. As the shibuya incident dragged on, I thought he'd get bored in there and figure out a way to manipulate time (idk physics very well but if he can manipulate space, why not time, you know? Math or whatever it is).

Through the culling game arc I let go of my time travel theory - until Hakari mentioned it with the prison realm and I lost my mind.

Yap part II got me thinking about more things uwu (I'm going to assume you've caught up on the reading linked however it will probably make sense if you didn't?

Content warning for SA topics

Cursed energy

Choso

Sukuna

((alternative methods to reduce cursed energy))

In reference to the SA statistics mentioned above (how it affects far more people than natural disasters, etc)

Reducing cursed energy doesn't mean eliminating non-sorcerers. A lot of curses could be avoided just by focusing on sex ed, consent, preventing these crimes from happening in the first place.

In addition to the weird, gropey curses, there were others from overworked employees, stressed students, and insecure children repeat things like "bento box" and "what time is it" and "no fair" etc.

But God, if cursed energy is from negative emotions, then why not address the causes of negative emotions?

Losing sleep and working to death for companies - I think Nanami's time as a salaryman taught him that jobs in general, not just as a sorcerer, are going to prey on the emoloyees' bodies. We all joke about how he looks 45 years old and is younger than Gojo, still in his 20s - the dude doesn't have RCT and the stress of work made him look like that, I swear. If Gojo weren't constantly running RCT, he'd look just as bad I think, maybe even worse.

The problems with jujutsu society in general are that they don't treat the cause, but only address the symptoms as a problem. And that they benefit the most, those who exploit others, often children.

If everyone has a better quality of life, safer environment, then curses would become fewer and weaker. But no one in power would push for that idea.

I want to elaborate a bit on Choso.

He accused Kenjaku of toying with his mother - with such anger - it felt like he was there, aware, watching it happen from his test tube.

And @thepersonperson mentioned Choso's guilt over the way he involuntarily repressed the original soul when he incarnated into some random guy's body. Choso gained knowledge of the modern world through that, but he isn't aware of anything about him, or his memories. It's like his soul is no longer there at all.

Choso is sensitive. He's very compassionate, emotional, and he is not afraid to change his mind, to admit that he was wrong, or to cry (he had tear stains immediately, like that's an integral part of his being). He holds himself responsible for his mistakes (even if he couldn't have known better).

Choso feels the need to justify his own existence (much like Yuuji after the shibuya incident) because his life is a product of rape - from both kenjaku and the curse that assaulted his mother.

People in his situation suffer from that awareness. It's easy to feel dirty, disgusting, unworthy of human decency or any kind of love. Not to mention that Choso's dad, half of him, is a curse. We all say that Kenjaku is Choso's father, and that's kind of true, but all he did was mix his blood in. Another layer of fucked up when you wonder what the real Noritoshi Kamo would feel about this. I believe that Kenjaku sought out his body specifically to run these abortion experiments. He needed to use blood manipulation for this to work (I'm assuming it also played a role in keeping Choso's mother alive through all of this, because abortions were more dangerous than childbirth with the methods used back then - though maybe it's different with a curse involved).

Still, Kenjaku is considered their parent - no one ever says "πŸ€“ Um, actually" about this. He is granted the role of parenthood despite doing nothing to earn it, except for committing horrid acts of violence for his own curiosity.

It seemed weird, but he is responsible for their existence - the death painting wombs are only there because of what he's done.

It's less weird when I realize this is what certain rape victims have to live with - their abuser being accepted by society, by their family, as the parent. As a title that assumes responsibility, love and care. How sickening.

Yet, the death painting wombs were all locked away in the cursed warehouse - assumed to carry the evil of their father, these objects were feared and placed under a pact. They hadn't even incarnated yet, but were already demonized by the sins of their father. (this phenomenon is seen in real life as well, I don't have the heart to elaborate)

And Choso felt guilt for not only the way he was conceived and incarnated, but for allying with the curses and killing Yuuji. Though he forgives his brothers easily, he doesn't seem to ever forgive himself, like he's afraid that (albeit accidental) tragedy and violence are biologically placed in his fingertips, because his father and kenjaku live on in him.

As much as we want Choso to accept his right to live, he feels most at peace when he's able to sacrifice himself for his brothers (which is kind of ironic bc they're in the same situation, yet Choso doesn't see them as dirty or obscene). He seems to feel that he is alive to pay for his fathers' crimes.

Sukuna

Yap Part II Got Me Thinking About More Things Uwu (I'm Going To Assume You've Caught Up On The Reading

This quote ^ got me thinking that, yeah, when he first appeared it was ugly. He made a horrible first impression. Sukuna came out craving violence, he wanted to lash out, he had anger to release.

Also I read through the lyrics of s(aint), the song Gege chose for Sukuna. It makes a lot more sense now than it did before I had caught up on the manga. It's also interesting that Marilyn Manson was a victim of csa from his neighbor, an older kid who liked to play "prison" (as in, he played this off as a game). This guy went on to kill his dog (that had heterochromia) with poison (sukuna's immunity to poisons). I read his autobiography when I was 15. It was disturbing and I don't recommend it. I doubt any other similarities between mm and sukuna are worth mentioning. The book is called the long hard road out of hell, and Sukuna was inspired by a deity of hell. Both of them are victims of abuse who continue its cycle. I think it also mentioned finding human bones in a graveyard, grinding them and smoking it, just to see what would happen which feels Kenjaku-coded.

Has gege ever told us what happens if Geto turns a curse into an orb, but doesn't swallow it?

I can only assume that it's a temporary state. If that were enough to exorcised or indefinitely contain the curse, then he wouldn't have absorbed so many.

Lmao the answer came to me in a dream (like when I read the whole manga in a week and my dreams were bright white manga panels that I had to READ and they included missing scenes that were added to the anime) bc now my jjk analyzing continues subconsciously....

I was asking what if a curse, like Mahito, could eat one of them?

Like... Maybe they are sealed or can be sealed. Maybe some can act as talismans, protective.

But generally I don't know (maybe no one has the answer, the technique is rare and not passed down in a clan that keeps records) if they stay like that forever.

It might attract curses that would eat it to become stronger.

For now I assume they wouldn't have taken that risk. (but imagine like a shelf full of cursed crystal balls. It would look so cool. Ugh)

I Was Thinking About How Happy Sukuna Is That Mahoraga Can See His Technique When I Noticed... The Marks

I was thinking about how happy Sukuna is that Mahoraga can see his technique when I noticed... The marks on his face in this panel look like an extra eye. As if he has six eyes.

What if Gojo becomes Sukuna's vessel?

Gojo and Sukuna have this hypervigilant need to be the strongest they possibly can (even when no one is close to their level).

Gojo told Geto that he felt sorry for Sukuna. That he knows how isolated it feels.

Idk there's so many posts about their similarities, how they're 2 sides of the same coin, and I think it would be neat.

Though I do wish Sukuna could have his own body, if it isn't possible to possess a cursed corpse, this is... Another possibility I'd like to explore.

Gojo invites Sukuna in.

Sukuna gets to be seen by someone who can understand him, without exploiting that vulnerability.

Yuuji's domain felt like itafushi propaganda since the end of the Shibuya incident.

This post has aged well so far (ch. 267 is out now, only 4 remain)

But I noticed something else from those scenes in shibuya!

Yuuji's Domain Felt Like Itafushi Propaganda Since The End Of The Shibuya Incident.
Yuuji's Domain Felt Like Itafushi Propaganda Since The End Of The Shibuya Incident.

First, that Yuuji holds a rabbit as soon as they appear.

And the rabbits can keep appearing, after they've been taken out.

Yuuji's Domain Felt Like Itafushi Propaganda Since The End Of The Shibuya Incident.
Yuuji's Domain Felt Like Itafushi Propaganda Since The End Of The Shibuya Incident.

Second... The dogs? I forgot about that. And I can't say with certainty what they represent, but...

Yuuji's Domain Felt Like Itafushi Propaganda Since The End Of The Shibuya Incident.

This page from the culling game arc reminded me of it.

(culling game foreshadowing & ending predictions will be their own post(s) because gege is driving me insane)

Sorry that the links have links, each post is quite short though, I'm just trying to stay organized without repeating myself every day.

In summary, Yuuji's domain was always itafushi propaganda, and the cryogenic sort of property feels even more foreshadowed now, so do with that what you will.

The fact that the rabbits can't truly be killed, and the white dog (who died in the detention center in season 1) appears there first. And then the black dog (who still lives, might have represented Kenjaku in this scene, but could also represent Megumi, in reference to Ch. 266)

Culling game foreshadowing - part 2 (Yuuta, Uro & that other guy)

Part 1 - Part 3 - Part 4

(some confirmed, more prediction this time. posting as if ch. 267)

Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 2 (Yuuta, Uro & That Other Guy)
Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 2 (Yuuta, Uro & That Other Guy)

Yuuta still not being used to Gojo's lanky body. (I believe he's getting his own body back, just like here).

Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 2 (Yuuta, Uro & That Other Guy)
Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 2 (Yuuta, Uro & That Other Guy)

Uro feels a lot like Sukuna. Sukuna telling Gojo "you jujutsu sorcerers are always a pain in the ass, in any era!" in ep 1 sounds a lot like "you fujiwawara are always in my way!" they've been separate, scapegoats, etc. Everything she says is worth reading this way. Other people have made great analysis on her past and reflection of Sukuna, so I'll move on.

Gojo might return, with Rika. I think this is the only time we see Yuuta do the hair shikigami thing (it's cool they have to do it again that's my logic) but seriously, the way that Yuuta's body has the ring, Rika, and shoes on again... What else could that mean?

Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 2 (Yuuta, Uro & That Other Guy)
Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 2 (Yuuta, Uro & That Other Guy)

I'm not sure what the flowers above Rika mean, but I'm going to guess it's about being reunited (I'm not good at plant ID, pls comment if you have ideas on this. I'm just including it bc it feels meaningful).

They create a three-way domain expansion with that cannon hair dude.

He feels very much like a pretas - which is interesting, since I've been hesitating to post about Sukuna and Gojo being in the hungry ghost realm. The way that they long for connection and always seem to be hungry, but are never satisfied. And the way this dude wasn't missing anything in his past life, he has no regrets but still wanted something more. Going on about "never had dessert", and that Yuuta is his dessert, so he can die full. And the look in his eyes made Yuuta emotional? Weird. (this was foretelling the sukugo fight I swear).

Back to the three-way domain expansion...

It looks like they're still in Yuuji's domain, the unexpected intruder might be Nobara to match the cockroach spirit (who had died as a player but lived on as a curse)... I'm not sure how that would affect the domain, but as of rn Sukuna's been using hollow wicker basket. (I assumed she would return with some awakening like Gojo's, with new abilities, but we haven't seen this yet).

I wonder if we'll see an actual three-way domain expansion, or if this will translate into a similar contest between Sukuna, Megumi and Tengen (because they're all in the same body right now. Also makes me think of the autonomous cursed corpse needing 3 cores, 3 souls to constantly observe each other).

Megumi ate Sukuna, and Sukuna ate Tengen...

Culling game foreshadowing - part 4

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3

Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 4

This looks similar to the flowers from ch. 265? For context...

Noritoshi is wondering whether his mom actually hates him, feeling like no one needs him. Why did she name him Noritoshi Kamo? Pronounced the same as the most evil sorcerer in history (actually, it was Kenjaku)?

Couldn't fit in this post, but Megumi's drink seems relevant to the flowers.

Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 4
Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 4
Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 4

Then we get to see her side of things. This already seemed like it was about Megumi and Yuuji...

And immediately after, it cuts to Angel / Hana speaking to Megumi, who was asleep for days. He doesn't respond to her, only Yuuji.

Gege I see what you're doing.

And didn't part 1 of this series mention destiny to Megumi? Why are they all saying that.

Then Takaba shows up, and I hope this happens too.

Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 4

Words aren't the answer, killing is healing, on God this is about Sukugo and Gojo will return to teach Sukuna about love.

Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 4

Is that Geto?

Is this about the systems failing justice, so Maki and Geto and Higuruma take it onto their own hands? Is Maki going to kill Mei Mei (who I assume they were just talking about)?

I don't rly know what's going on here I'm just throwing noodles at the wall to see if they're cooked.

Culling Game Foreshadowing - Part 4

Yuuta shifted his domain's location, instead of being over an ocean, it was where sorcerers could lurk and Maki could attack Sukuna.

I THINK ch. 270 gave us more hints about Momotaro?

Momotaro is mentioned when Gojo speaks to Suguru in the hidden inventory arc. It also appears during Takaba's fight with Kenjaku.

I THINK Ch. 270 Gave Us More Hints About Momotaro?
I THINK Ch. 270 Gave Us More Hints About Momotaro?

Different translations of the same page - at first, I thought this was saying that Geto is a bit different from Kenjaku - that Takaba used his CT to revive Geto in attempt to have a comedy partner (rip Kenjaku's brain, but it's better to leave him in the afterlife).

In the later translation, it seems they're discussing the difference between jokes. I'm not fluent in Japanese but I wouldn't be surprised if this could be read with multiple meanings.

Why is momotaro only mentioned with Geto - or Kenjaku, in his body? I know that Kenjaku was more interested in playing video games than knowing what CT had occurred in awakened players in the culling games.

There's the satosugu ship, and there's the chemistry between Kenjaku and Takaba.

There's the joke about Momotaro's conception - eating a magic peach and bumping uglies.

Idk the significance yet...

At this point maybe I should watch gameplay of momotaro? Or beg the internet to add anything they know.

I just cannot believe this is a coincidence bc gege wrote this, you know? So what does it meeaannnnnnn.....

Latest update here:

Momotaro (from the game) seems to resemble the way our latest curse victim sees her fiancΓ©...?

Momotaro from folklore seems to resemble Yuuji.

ui ui said that replacement training can only be done twice in a month (for each person).

Yuuji was planning to train with Yuuta and Kusakabe.

Does this mean that Yuuta only had one day to learn the limitless technique?

Or... Were they spending extended periods of time in each other's bodies?

Edit to add - Yuuta mentions it being "a single replacement" in ch. 262.2. I just forgot!

Ui Ui Said That Replacement Training Can Only Be Done Twice In A Month (for Each Person).

Still we don't know how long that session lasted. But it only happened once.

!! What if (regarding the dreamlike last chapters)

Yk how Yuuji wasn't allowed to know the plan bc what if through resonance Sukuna would learn of it?

I think its more likely for Megumi to experience that - especially after Nobara struck the last finger.

It would explain Megumi's laughter at Gojo's letter

And Yuuji's reaction to seeing Hiromi

Bc Sukuna can share awareness around his cursed objects (if they aren't sealed, afaik). And by the end, Megumi was no longer just dissociating in his innate domain. It's likely for him to know what Sukuna knows.

Which is how I was justifying the news about Toji etc (but just that, Sukuna learned about it during Gojo's afterlife scene- however)

It makes sense that conversations are being had around Sukuna's last finger. Buuutt I rly thought it was foreshadowed that in the end, Gojo becomes Sukuna's vessel (idk man, at this point I feel a lil insecure about that) - BUT if Megumi picks up on that resonance, on the fact that Gojo is actually very alive (I feel like he would want to preserve the last artifact, at least. I can't be convinced that he did try to hollow purple the fingies in the first place (though sukuna or Kenjaku may have placed a vow on them for protection) bc not even Satoru Gojo was aware of Kenjaku or his plan to manipulate a vessel into eating them).

And so, Sukuna's last finger is aware of Hiromi living, which makes Megumi know this, and Yuuji has that uncertain reaction. Like, I didn't put this here. (idk man idk what's going on).

Whether they're dying or fine, it seems like Megumi is going along with Yuuji's dream, subconsciously adding world-building elements to it himself - like how during kenjaku and Takaba's fight, there was soul resonance between them, yet they were still able to surprise each other.

Hell, maybe sukuna got to the airport as Gojo was leaving and decided to eat the last finger (it doesn't sound like any of them are in Sukuna's remains, considering how they turned like ash). The fact that Sukuna got no afterlife scene is suspicious - though I'm not sure whether he gets one at all, if any of his fingers are still out there.

I wonder if the absence / appearance of Yuuji's fingers, Megumi's scar, is based on how they view one another and themselves.

Yuuji's domain seemed to have that effect on sukuna - whether he appeared as Yuuji's doppelganger or in his own form.

Hello everyone I may have found more itafushi propaganda.

So in ch. 266, Fushiguro and Yuuji have that heart to heart conversation about life, dreams and suffering.

Hello Everyone I May Have Found More Itafushi Propaganda.

And ducks get a weird amount of screen time. That has to mean something, yeah?

Hello Everyone I May Have Found More Itafushi Propaganda.

They even come out of the manga panels - which I've grown to believe means that they feel like something inevitable, that will reach you (based on Mahito and Sukuna's hands, I think it's a design choice to illicit emotion in the reader).

So I looked up Japanese symbolism for ducks...

Transformation. Purification. Metamorphosis. Marital happiness. Nurturing and bonding. Good luck, emotional stability, that sort of thing.

These meanings remind me of the hydrangea flowers and how they could be suggesting amacha, a ritual bath for Buddhist statues. How megumi's drink in the culling games had that label.

Ok new theory on the last dreamlike chapters bc I can't believe that they are not real - but like Kenjaku said, in the rift between dreams and reality, the cursed realm or whatever -

Yuuji's domain... I think it leaked out (even Yuuta had issues when the barrier broke after he hollow purpled the barrier on Gojo's domain, and he had training). This was Itadori's first time using domain expansion - and he has Sukuna's barrierless domain muscle memory.

Just like the way Sukuna appeared as Yujikuna or as his true form, Yuuji and Megumi's scars and fingers keep changing (I think it's based on the way they perceive each other).

Ok So We Get Itafushi, We Get Miwamaru, Etc. In This Page. It Seems To Be Telling Of Relationships.

Ok so we get itafushi, we get miwamaru, etc. in this page. It seems to be telling of relationships.

And Ui Ui / Mei Mei...

Ui Ui's arm - it looks like he's trying to break away from someone. Higuruma? Is Ui Ui... Struggling w the complicated messy feelings that arise when you begin to accept that you've been abused, but it's so hard when you've been groomed for so long and you don't want to face that reality?

Mei is on the opposite side of the page. She and her brother could not be further apart. Her eyes are closed, and she's smiling the way she does when exploiting people for money. Maybe her subscription service ambition was given to Mei as a distraction - to focus on that instead of exploiting her brother.

Maybe we didn't need Geto to come back to life and kill her - I really overlooked Hiromi and his sense of justice, haven't I? Mei probably thinks that she can get out of any scandal, as long as she has money. She isn't facing anyone, and no one is looking at her. Shoko is looking up at nothing, pretending she isn't there.

It looks like Hiromi's also facing Gakuganji - he's keeping watch over jujutsu headquarters and the victims. I love him so much. Looking back now, Hiromi rly is the next generation Geto - protecting the innocent without discriminating. Oh, you're in a position of power to exploit the weak? He'll kill you anyway. Good luck.

Also shokohime seems like.... There? Shoko's looking off in the distance like she's happy, waiting and giving privacy. She's facing Utahime, whose arm is reached out toward Shoko and to her student that she has to worry about first.

Idk what's up with Ino, or if Inumaki is looking at the reader.

And who are the two people in the back, that you can't rly see? Thought one was Todo but he's already on there. (edit: my friend says one is Hajime Kashimo, & they're right. I guess the other is Haibara, or maybe the sugar CT guy... Oh god is the jacket most like Junpei's?) Though it could just mean there are more strong and intelligent allies than we know.

Here's my reaction to the end of the manga btw (forgot this page was part of 271 smh)

[anime-only friendly]

How old is that seance curse user we saw in Shibuya?

I never really thought about it but... Does she have potential to be Kenjaku old?

This post brought to you by... I had a dream where I met Gege and said "it's okay if you don't have an answer. I've been through jjk 12 times and cannot figure out how old she is." once again analyzing jjk in my sleep, coming up w things my conscious brain would not be thinking.

I've given her and the other old curse user in shibuya the least amount of thought bc they creep me out so bad. But now that I'm thinking about it...

The two of them show a duality of evil that really stems from disrespect of autonomy.

Her CT made it easy... But she also preyed on boys, kidnapping and grooming them as her "grandson". The one we see is not the first. So she has to be superhumanly old, right?

And old dude with the inverse CT - That really has no way to invade the autonomy of others. But he certainly thrives in doing it anyway, torturing people to death for no reason but "practice" bc his job is to kill people and he has to be good at it. As if all that was necessary. (this is, I think, the anime's most disturbing scene)

It's also interesting how Gojo's birth was blamed for cursed spirits becoming stronger, but these faces of evil has hidden away because of his presence. Like Satoru's life itself was a protective seal.
