So I replayed the True Fear: Foresaken Souls games for Halloween, and I still think they're very good!
I knew I remembered a game that had me working in a computer, and it was in these! I'm amazed with how they integrated the 3D scenes in their gameplay. The part with the ballerina and the hole in the wall was...incredible. It didn't really scare me this time going in, since I remembered more than I thought, but it still got me at certain points... </3
I was curious and looked on the developer's Facebook page for updates on True Fear: Foresaken Souls Part 3. Good news is they just posted an update this Halloween!

Here is the previous info and sneak-peek photos posted back in June:

Excited to see this still in development, and can't wait for its release..!

Adventures in bargain bin hidden object games #1: none of the text in this game is aligned.
Sorry for taking a picture of a monitor but screenshot isn’t working for me and this game isn’t worth the effort.
(This is called Girl Secrets if anyone’s curious)

A post that isn’t Mystery Case Files related 😅
The characters are from a hidden object game called Dark Parables: The Red Riding Hood Sisters. The first drawing is Ruth and the second two drawings is Briar Rose.
Per last reblog, I have to talk about The Invisible Man (HOPA) game, because it introduced me to the OG book, my favorite literature *ever*, by H.G. Wells.

The game is a little dark lighting-wise, and it's hard to see in some Hidden Object scenes, but I enjoyed its mechanics and graphics otherwise! You play as Griffin's 'sweetheart', attempting to track him down and learn about the experiment that turned him invisible while he is being chased down.
The game's take on the original story and characterization of Dr. Griffin is a different conversation I can have, but I give special props to this game for being my first purchase on Big Fish Games, after locating it from my WildTangent days.
