Things I can’t stand in games are a penalty for clicking in the wrong spot, mini games that are tedious on purpose, uncreative hidden object scenes like 150 runes over a starry background or something.
And one pet peeve that’s domini games exclusive: their background music doesn’t loop! I’ve played at least 5 of their games and they all have this basic programming mistake
👏👏👏‼️
I know the clicking penalty is supposed to help you take Hidden Object scenes seriously/strategically, but I wish it was optional depending on the game setting you have. Casual/easy players should be able to disable it if they want. I also hate it when the game can't detect me clicking on the right item, and I get penalized for it.
Also, non-looping background music is a SIN!!!
Just curious, but what are your guys' personal Hidden Object game annoyances?
Mine would have to be the mandatory making potions/recipes. It happens in almost every game and I HATE IT.
this pet peeve is exclusive to seekers notes since that’s really the only hidden object game i play
in the emerald mystery event, some of the objects are placed so close to each other that even though i’m clicking on the object that i need to click in the list, for some reason !! my click ends up registering on the object next to it !
hit box too big or something :/
I avoid playing mobile hidden object games for many reasons, but the fact that it's on a touchscreen is one of them. I have to zoom in while playing Seeker's Notes to make sure it registers me tapping on an item.
I also think it's a crime when developers add SUPER TINY HARD-TO-FIND ITEMS (like a pencil) in Hidden Object scenes!!
So I bought Sherlock Holmes and The Hound of The Baskervilles on Steam the other day since it was on sale, and I got an hour+ worth of gameplay on it. Tried opening it today and the game crashes no matter if I reinstall it or rename/tamper with the game files.
I don't know if this is an issue exclusively on Steam, but I am TIRED of hopa games not **working**! I only got it for $2, so it's not that big of a loss to me, but it sucks to see multiple discussions on a game page with different 'fixes' because it just won't work properly.

I’m Kind of in an art block, so I wanted to doodle some of my favorite characters.
