I Purchased Cursery: The Crooked Man And The Crooked Cat A Bit Ago And Have Been Playing It Off-and-on
I purchased Cursery: The Crooked Man and the Crooked Cat a bit ago and have been playing it off-and-on since. Something about the beginning gameplay is...hard to get through. But I'm enjoying it all the same!!
So, you said you've played a ton of hidden object games, so I was just wondering if you have ever played Cursery: The Crooked man and the Crooked Cat or the Bonfire Legends? Thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day/night!
!!! Yes, I've played Cursery: The Crooked Man and the Crooked Cat! But I don't remember how long ago it was and how far I got into it. I'll Wishlist it on Steam to buy later so I can replay it. I'll post about it when that happens!
Also, if you mean Bonfire Stories, Faceless Gravedigger and Heartless are two of my favorite hidden object games of all time! I don't like the third game(Manifest Horror), and it seems to be the weakest out of that series. But I'm in LOVE with those games, and I ought to post about them more because they're amazing!
Have a wonderful day/night as well, anon!

Things I can’t stand in games are a penalty for clicking in the wrong spot, mini games that are tedious on purpose, uncreative hidden object scenes like 150 runes over a starry background or something.
And one pet peeve that’s domini games exclusive: their background music doesn’t loop! I’ve played at least 5 of their games and they all have this basic programming mistake
👏👏👏‼️
I know the clicking penalty is supposed to help you take Hidden Object scenes seriously/strategically, but I wish it was optional depending on the game setting you have. Casual/easy players should be able to disable it if they want. I also hate it when the game can't detect me clicking on the right item, and I get penalized for it.
Also, non-looping background music is a SIN!!!

I’m Kind of in an art block, so I wanted to doodle some of my favorite characters.

The inside of Curioso's box is super interesting - it's filled with masks/heads, dolls, mannequins, etc. and a singular room along with a theater/puppet show space.
Seeing as Curioso has artificial arms & legs, I can see him taking the limbs from one of his figures. A lot of the mannequins are dressed up as part of a theater play - which points to my theory that Curioso was part of a carnival/circus act under his curse. Either that, or he lives for the aesthetic. Another possibility is he made them himself - since in the Bonus Chapter, we see him making a similar present for Emily, the girl he likes at the time.
Some of the mannequins are blank - and I wonder if Curioso traps some of the souls he captured inside these dolls? Or if he just keeps them around as company?
