He’d be shaking, his heart beating so fast that he figured it was going to explode. And you would know something was up because you could feel his chest tensing against your back, his heart beating rapidly behind yours and his fingers trembling on your shoulders.

“Hobi?” You turned in his arms to face him and caught the red tint coating his face and ears.

“Shit, uh, you know, I-I have something to tell you, but I don’t want you to, uh, god, I don’t-”

You were stuck between letting him ramble about what you already knew he was thinking, or just kissing him.

And the latter sounded a whole lot easier, so you did.

He sighed relief into your mouth before turning his head to kiss you deeper, pushing into you and taking your bottom lip between his.

Hobi caught his breath after your lips parted from his. “You like me, too?”

“Yeah.” You played with his fingers. “I do.”

Thrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

Hobi loves trying new things!! He is incredibly spontaneous and fun, and I really think he’d especially love going new places with you.

He’s said before that his favorite type of skinship is hand-holding, so he’d love walking down the beach with you hand-in-hand, or dragging you around some new store in town and picking things for you to try on that he would love to see you in.

“Okay, okay. Listen to me,” your boyfriend, sweaty and flushed after hours of teaching you the new sexy choreo he put together for you both, approaches you and reaches for your face.

He thumbs your soft jawline, looking down at your pleading eyes.

“You can do it. It will only take some practice, but just like you’ve learned eeeverything else so far, you can learn this. Seriously!”

You close your eyes and breathe in deep. Shit, you’ve made it 3/4 through the entire routine and that’s way more than you ever thought possible, so why stop now? All you needed was to prove to yourself that you’re more capable than you assumed, and you did that, so why not learn how to do the splits, too?

“Alright.” You look back up at Hoseok and watch his eyes light up, his smile growing huge and proud. “Show me how to- fuckin’- you know-“

He grabs your chubby cheeks and pulls your forehead to his lips. “That’s my baby!”

note: wanted to write my version of how i think it would look like coming home to namjoon drunk in the middle of the night. :D gathered inspiration from the last episode of suchwita (or r-chwita ?) — at one point i was convinced they were taking shots of water ? their tolerance is so high i would have passed out by the third shot

Arriving home after a night of drinking, the world swayed as each step felt heavier than the last.

When you finally reach your building, you fumble for the keys in your purse, an uneasy feeling settling in your stomach as you become acutely aware of the lateness of the hour. You look at the time on your phone and wince. It was already far past 3am. Surely, Namjoon would be asleep by now, unaware of your delayed return. Your only desire is to slip into bed unnoticed and let sleep whisk you away into sweet oblivion. You hoped he wouldn't worry too much when he discovers that you weren't tucked in bed beside him.

With every effort to be as quiet as possible, you unlock your door, swearing under your breath when it creaks loudly. So much for stealth.

Pushing open the door of your apartment, however, that hope evaporated. To your surprise, there he was: Wrapped up in one of his oversized hoodies, Namjoon was seated on the couch with a book in his hand and glasses perched on his nose, flinching ever so slightly when the door creaks open to announce your arrival. Despite his clear concern, a subtle smile tugs at his lips when he sees your face — flushed and giddy from the night's festivities.

"Baby," he calls out gently, setting his book aside and moving towards you.

Your heart still beats wildly at the sound of that beloved nickname - an intimate term so often reserved for quiet moments between just the two of you. Even in your drunken haze, you feel a warmth spreading across your chest that has nothing to do with alcohol.

You blink at him in confusion but can't help but smile. "Namjoon…" you slur as you clumsily approach him. "You're awake?" you mumble in disbelief, leaning against the wall for support.

He quickly walks over to hold onto you before you topple. "Hey," he says with a chuckle. "You're really drunk right now."

You sway a bit as Namjoon approaches. He was careful not to show any signs of disapproval as he reaches out to take your hand, steadying you before bending down to help you out of your shoes, then taking your coat and hanging it near the door.

"I am," you admit sheepishly, allowing him to guide you toward the couch. He sits down first, maneuvering your body to let your legs rest across his lap. At that moment, seeing him all domesticated and caring made your heart race, filling you with a tender warmth that pushed aside the dizziness fogging your mind.

"You're really late coming home, baby," he chides gently. "I was worried. You okay?"

"Yes," you manage to slur out through a drunken smile, trying your best to put together a coherent sentence through your stupor. "Might have had a little too much, though."

Namjoon sighs, his expression softening as his eyes seem to drink in every detail of your disheveled appearance. He shakes his head with a hint of amusement, and without missing a beat, leans over to press a gentle kiss to your forehead. The tenderness of the gesture makes your heart swell, and you can't resist the urge to wrap your arms around him, burying your face in his chest. Namjoon chuckles, his arms coming around you in a comforting embrace.

His scent brings a strange sort of clarity to your muddled thoughts - this moment somehow feeling more real than anything else that night. The world seemed to fall away, leaving only the two of you clinging together amongst the fragments. And though you were reluctant to admit it in that hazy state, this feeling was far more intoxicating than any drink had been throughout the night.

Namjoon gently pulls away from your embrace, carefully studying your blissed out face, scanning for any signs of injury or worry. It was then that his attentive gaze transforms into a playful smirk.

"You had fun tonight then?" he inquires gently, brushing some hair from your forehead.

A smile erupts from your lips as memories of the night's adventures flood your mind. "Yeah," you sigh blissfully. "I hate to admit it, but the booze helped loosen me up."

Namjoon laughs wholeheartedly at your confession, dimples making a warm appearance. "That's good to hear, baby." He pauses for a moment, the gentle touch of his fingers on your face making you feel comfortable and at ease. "But next time, try not to worry me so much by coming home this late, okay?"

You nod in agreement, taking in the sincerity and warmth radiating from his presence. “Mhmm,” you mumble, sinking further into the couch. "I promise," you whisper, and with a final giggle, he wraps his arms around you, holding you close as the events of the night slowly settle into the recesses of your memory.

Namjoon leans in for a sweet peck on your forehead and guides you towards the bathroom. "Alright, let's get you cleaned up and ready for bed," he says with an almost parental tone. You groan in protest, but he insists.

Leaning against him for support, you manage to clumsily shuffle to the bathroom. As Namjoon holds you up, he begins to guide you through your nightly routine – washing your face, brushing your teeth – all the while laughing at your drunken attempts.

Next is the bedroom; Namjoon makes sure to help you change into your comfortable sleepwear. Tugging gently at the soft fabric hung around your body to adjust it properly, he marvels at your tiny slur of words praising how cozy the clothing feels.

He leaves the room momentarily, returning with a glass of water and setting it down within arm’s reach of your groggy form nestled under the duvet. Usually one to voice praise about remaining hydrated, he simply nudges the glass toward you without uttering a word.

"Drink up," he smiles, this time not teasing. "It'll help."

You obey without question, downing most of the water in one go. The cool liquid helps snap you back to your senses albeit gradually. The room no longer spins, but the exhaustion still presses firmly against you.

Satisfied that you’ve had enough water before sleeping, Namjoon adjusts the blankets around your slightly-slumped frame while tucking strands of hair behind your ears with unparalleled gentleness. He finally climbs into bed beside you. You instinctively nuzzle into his embrace, deeply inhaling his comforting scent. The world around you fades away, and your consciousness sinks into a state of blissful oblivion. Your thoughts become hazy, and your senses dull, as sleep fully envelops you in its embrace.
