February Productivity Challenge

Day 3: What's your nighttime routine like?
It’s pretty funny. (It’s a mess... it’s not funny)) But since I’ve started living in small apartment with my bf we share a lot of time together. So... I try to reserve some evening time for myself. But usually I end like playing video games and watching tv series..
My nighttime routine doesn’t exist. Sometimes I have some work to do. Sometimes I read books and have a calm, cozy atmosphere around. Sometimes I have to do groceries and I enjoy doing it lately because shops are mosty out-of-humans hahah.
Yeah, tbh with you... I’m pretty disorganized this year. And that’s why I decided to do this challenge! Now I try to do my own planner and use it as my main plan for February. I really enjoy block method of time schedule, but it’s not working for me cause I do many different things every day, and usually threre’s something unexpected. Also I travel a lot (I have my family and friends pretty far from me) so it’s not that easy to have one plan to do. That’s why I use a calendar this year.

reminder that academia is about having a passion for learning, not about being smart or well dressed or rich. as long as you are always open to new ideas and willing to learn, you're a valid part of the academia community.
Hey guys! Next month I start new studies, sooo it's great time to vacuum this place, haha! Ya know, this 2022 is horrible for me. I got sick in a bit serious way that every week I have like medical visits and blood tests, my dog has cystitis, my dad broke his rib and yesterday during brushing my teeth I hit my jaw with the toothbrush and it still hurts! And it's just 25th of January! What's wrong with you, 22? I decided to just visit this place more often and prepare myself for uni. I had a small break between BEng and MSc (and it was worth it) so ya know, I'm a bit... scatterbrained. Sooo, see ya soon babies <3
I love it.

To everyone learning a language with a speech impediment: I know how frustrating it is to feel that you're not making progress. You have the vocab, you have the grammar, but when it comes down to those moments of communication that every language video, podcast, article, tutor insists are the pinnacle of your learning journey, you stumble. Sentences that flow so easily in your mind and on paper are an enormous struggle and you feel like a failure. You simply take a backseat in the conversation, thinking welp at least I can practice some listening comprehension here, and that moment where you didn't get to properly practice your skills becomes just another disappointing moment that you push to the back of your mind. After all, it happens all the time in your native language.
Listen to me: you deserve to be heard. We deserve to be heard. It doesn't matter that our sentences don't sound like the melodic speech of a fluent native speaker that inspired us to start this journey in the first place. Our speech isn't worth less or at a lower level than someone who knows all the same things we do but has fluency. Don't be discouraged by the common notion that someone who stops and starts while speaking doesn't have a high language level, we often don't have much of a choice whether we stop or start speaking. No matter your speech impediment, don't be afraid to take up time and space in conversations. You deserve the same level of respect as other learners.
Remember: it's what you say that matters, not how you say it.
Ok, I’m done. When I was a teenager I hated all those vampires “comedies”. But yesterday I rewatched Twilight after those long years and I like it... It's not a cinematic marvel, but it was quite ... enjoyable.
