I've noticed that everyone online has gotten kind of defensive and insecure about things. I think issues irl are getting to people a lot, both big and small, and it's making them more tightly wound with smaller stuff.

When everything feels like a big important problem, it's harder to tell when something is actually a small issue.

As long as they're not diminishing a character, there's no reason to be vocal about how 'stupid' it is. Nobody cares just shut up tbh . . . like in a discord server someone was like 'hehe silly headcanon!' and everyone was so rude and they slowly kinda exited the conversation, I felt so bad

i don't think we appreciate how incredible symbolism actually is. we defined a bunch of shapes and repeating patterns and imbued them with meaning using nothing but our own minds and the power of communication. how does that not drive you crazy just thinking about it.
