Inktobertale 2024: Day 1 — Ink (warm-up)

One of the most common artist warm-ups is just filling a page with doodles. It started normally (bottom-left) and went out of control so fast. ... It bodes well for the rest of Inktobertale, I suppose.

one of my favorite things about horror is that he tries to convince everyone he has some moral high ground. no he doesn't. that's what he wants you to believe. he thinks he's so much better than his rivals because he "doesn't eat any humans." who created that system? who had that idea? who tricked people into believing it was the only solution?

he WANTS you to think he's the one in the right, but he's not. he thinks he's better than everyone else. when he isn't.

if you think he did nothing wrong, good! you just fell for the narrative he created.

Since my PMs aren't working, I'll ask directly; Artist friends, what art programs do you think are best? Other than Krita, which doesn't work on my type of computer.

I'm alright for paying for one, by the way, so feel free to suggest paid ones.

how do you come up with ideas for characters? you make really interesting designs

some of my designs come from my dreams, others I just draw fun shapes until I see something in them that wants to be realized. that's an exercise I was taught in highschool. Try making a bunch of random single-stroke scribbles and then turning them into designs! I'm also inspired a lot by other artists ^_^ sometimes I imagine the thought process they may have had when they were coming up for designs and then try to apply their lines of reasoning to my own.

Here’s a comic featuring Reaper and Error that I’ve been working on for the past 3 months or so — mostly during lunch breaks at work. It’s silly, sorta OOC and simple, but it was a great learning experience!
