Yoongi watches as you and Jin sit down at the stable where the rest of your friends are, the both of you excitedly chatting about something.

" What are you two so excited about?" Namjoon asks curiously as you sit down beside him, Jin beside Hoseok.

" She's going to teach me how to make more out of my soulmate bond." Jin smiles.

Namjoon looks suprised at the news and turns to you.

" Yep. He wanted to learn, so why not. It does more good than bad anyway." You smile.

Namjoon shrugs and nods.

" That's true."

" Wait, what do you mean make more out of your soulmate bond hyung?" Taehyung asks from across from you.

" She can make fire out of her palm, Taehyunggie! She does that trough the soulmate bond. I want to learn on how to do that too." Jin gushes in excitement.

Yoongi's eyes widen as he catches on.

" Wait you guys can't do that?" He asks.

" Jiminnie and I can't either. Is that a bad thing?" Hoseok asks.

Namjoon and Jungkook's eyes widen too.

You're the only one who unsuprised, having learned that a few hours back.

" Why don't you teach all of them?" Yoongi asks you.

Now your eyes do widen.

" What? Why?" You ask.

" You know better than even the chiefs on how the soulmate bond works." Yoongi explains.

" Wait, really?" Taehyung asks suprised.

You rub the back of your head with a sheepish smile.

" She used to survive on it." Yoongi tells the other proudly.

" Wow, that's so cool." Jimin tells you quietly.

" Okay, how about this. We all teach them?" You say.

" That's cool with me." Namjoon smiles.

" How do you want to do that?" Jungkook asks.

" Well, I don't know but we'll figure it out." You say sheepishly.

Jungkook high fives you while Yoongi shakes his head as if he's a tired parent.

" Now that's a plan." Jungkook gushes.

" So, what are you guys' elements?" Namjoon asks them.

All horse boys look at each other in confusion.

" I mean, Lovely doesn't have any magical powers. So I don't think he's connected with any of them." Jimin pouts.

" Every animal who is soulmate bonded is in touch with an element." Yoongi deadpans.

" Oh." Is Jimin's only reply.

" Sapphire's element is water. I can see by her coat colour and she always rests near the water at home." You tell them.

Jin only now realizes that Sapphire indeed does usually rest near water.

" I think Phoenix is in touch with fire, he once avoided me being burnt to a crisp when I was younger by prancing against the fire. He wouldn't shut up about it for a week straight." Taehyung said.

" I think Mang's in touch with air." Hoseok mused out loud.

Yoongi nodded.

" That's true." 

" How do you know?" Jungkook looked at Yoongi in curiosity and suspicion.

" I'm his babysitter, dimwit." Yoongi deadpanned.

" I think Lovely's in touch with earth." Namjoon says, ignoring Jungkook and Yoongi's quarrel

" Hol' up. We're all tied with someone from this table?" You ask in realization.

Everyone looks at each other before nodding and shrugging.

" Then why don't you all teach us by who we're sorted with?" Jin piped up.

Everyone looked at each other and nodded.

" That's fair." Taehyung shrugged.

" Okay, stone paper scissors on who's going to tell Jairzinho." 

Luckily, you won, meaning you didn't have to tell him.

" Why are we going to be traveling?"  Jin asks as he once again packed some of his stuff.

This time he wasn't carrying the stuff he himself would have packed, like clothes and Sapphire's brushes, now he was only packing a little amount of food, as you had informed him to only carry the most essential stuff, the rest you would be able to create yourself.

How Jin was supposed to be able to create clothes by water, he wasn't sure either.

" I personally think that it'll be best to learn your birth element in a place with more water." You explain to him while searching for something.

" What are you looking for?" Jin asked.

" A map. I know only part of where we're supposed to go." You tell him while rummaging trough a random cabinet.

" Where are we even going?" He asks.

" Can't tell you. It's a surprise." You tell him as you throw him a lopsided smile over your shoulder.

" Okay?" 

" Finally! I found it!" You say, throwing something on the table in fromt of you.

Jin moves to stand behind you, curiously looking over your shoulder.

You try not to get affected by the close proximity.

" Wow, so this is what the world looks like." Jin says as he traces the curves and lines from behind you.

" You've never seen a map before?" You ask him.

" No, I have. But the ones in the Pegasus Tribe only show the fae lands." He explains.

You nod.

" Alright, well let's pack the last few stuff and go."

" You know, when you told me that it would be a suprise, I tough you meant something nice like a pool or a beautiful lake!!" Jin screams to you over the sound of the waves.

" Why what's wrong with the Atlantic Ocean?!" You yell back as waves crash beneath the four of you, Sapphire barely managing to stay in the air.

You have just arrived at your "fiance's" house. Yes, you have a fiance, tough not by choice. Your family was strictly bussiness orientated, and had therefore signed their firstborn female child over as an unexsisting product as a marriage option if it was necessary. 

You tried to close the door behind you as quiet as possible. 

You had been against this since the moment you've been aware of this.

You were certainly not a "product".

Your fiance, Park Jimin wasn't much better. For most times, you can't seem to read him at all. 

Tough he always does somehow look after you, (for example, you once had gone out with your friend who ended up ditching you, you had called him as last option at 3 am, but he didn't hesitate to pick you up) but he never actually talked to you about his feelings, nor was he affectione or anything else.

Currently, he was sick. And that's the only reason you're here. To take care of him while he's sick. Tough he could simply have his maid take care of him, he never lests her touch him. 

You greeted said girl with a small smile, which she returned, before eventually making your way to his room.

Upon opening the door, you realized that he was not in his bed. 

Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

Where is he?

"He's in his office." His maid said as you closed the door.

" Excuse me? I tough he's sick." You say confused.

" He is. But he still insisted on getting work done, so he's working from his home office." She explained.

You nodded. " Thank you for telling me."

A moment later you're in Jimin's home office, crossing your arms over one another while glaring at him from the doorway.

You cleared your throat before speaking.

" I heard you were sick?" You cocked an eyebrow.

He looked up from his work, and he indeed did not look good.

He was paler than what he's supposed to be, and his cheeks are hollow, a sign that he hasn't eaten today, his usually neatly styled hair was now also a mess ontop of his head, which even tough the current situation, only made him look cute.

" I'm fine." He grumbled with a hoarse voice before turning back to his work.

You rolled your eyes before walking over to him and closing his laptop right before his nose.

To your suprise, he wasn't mad about it at all, it almost seemed as if he wanted you to do it.

" Go lie down. I'll make you some soup." You told him as you felt his forehead with the back of your hand.

Once again he surpised you as he leaned his head in your skin.

You lightly retreated your hand before walking out of his office and down into the kitchen.

After a few minutes of setting up the water and getting the ingredients, a pair of arms wrap around you.

You jump, but the arms do not retract. As you turn around, you realize it's Jimin.

You sigh before getting back to the soup and Jimin sets his head down onto your shoulder, his overheated temperature seeping trough your shirt.

" I tough I told you to go lie down?" You mused.

You were now getting a little concerned, why was your cold fiance acting as if you two were actually dating?

He hummed in response.

" If we had met in different settings, do you think that we'd actually be something?" He asked you.

Your hand stilled on the spoon, the question taking you by suprise.

" I don't know." You shrugg in response.

He suddenly presses his nose in your shoulder, inhaling your scent.

The action causes you to still for a moment.

" Sorry." He wishpers, turning back to just leaning his head on your shoulder while holding you in a back hug.

" Jimin, are you sure that we don't need to take you to a hospital?" You ask him.

He shakes his head, his hair tickling you.

" No. I'm drowsy, and whenever I'm this drowsy I end up spilling whatever I have on my mind. I usually avoid my feelings for you." He bluntly tells you.

You blink before finishing the soup and pushing him down to sit and eat.

After that, you send him straight to bed, but he keeps whining until you escort him upstairs to his own damn bedroom.

" Y/N?" Jimin aks as he's sitting down on his bed, looking at you with small sleepy eyes.

You turn back to him from the door opening you're stood in, cocking your head to the side as a way to tell him to carry on.

He smiles.

" I love you."

Hogwarts was far worse than you had expected. Of course, you didn't expect it to become any better when Snape became headmaster, but you did not expect this.

The air which was usually inviting and warm was now cold and kill. The Hufflepuff commonroom which used to be lively with plants and pastel colours were now void plants and the fire that used to burn to keep the room warm wasn't on. 

Even the bedrooms were cold, and some of your more sensitive roommates had tried not to cry as it finally dawned on her that you all of you really were at war.

Dinner followed, and it was once again cold and desolate. There was barely any food, and the food that was there was almost cold and barely enough for everyone. 

You had passed your food to a first year, who seemed to skinny in your eyes and was  exceptionally grateful for the food, it made you wonder how she got treated back at home.

The lessons weren't great either. Instead of getting Defence Against the Dark Arts, you were now straight up taught dark arts. If you refused to do whatever Dark arts thing they wanted you to do, you'd get beaten by the profeseor. Overall it was aweful.

However, you managed to find an escape. It's small, probably life threatening and overall stupid and unsafe.

But every place felt better than in the castle in this time. And so you go every night, for about a week now, to the forbidden forest. 

The dementors around the school never seemed to keep an eye on the forest and you managed to make it to there every night and out without getting killed.

Hoseok watched you walk into the forbidden forest in confusion.

What are you going to do there? Are you secretly meeting with someone?

Hoseok didn't really like the tough of you secretly meeting someone there. What if it's a guy? He could take advantage of you and no one would be able to help you.

I should go with her. That way she'll be protected. I can't let anything happen to her. He nodded to himself before silently following after you.

The first hour in the forest was peacefull, you were mainly just playing with Thestrals and a Hippogriff, which made him smile. Your love for magical creatures didn't change.

At some point you must've deemed it late, as you turned back to leave, Hobi narrowly missed your line of sight.

At that point he felt a little weird as he realized that he'd been practically following you in the forest like some creepy guy, which he's not, by the way, instead of actually taking a walk with you. 

His mind changed a few minutes later however, when a werewolf stood in front of you on a few meter distance, growling.

He was luckily quick to react by setting his body between the werewolf and you and raising his wand.

" Stupify!" Hoseok yelled, his wand pointed at the werewolf and sending him back into the forest.

It scampered to it's feet once the spell wore off.

" Hoseok?" You asked shakily.

He swallowed before turning to you.

" Y/N."

The both of you just looked at one another, not really knowing what to say.

" Come on, I'll drop you off at the Hufflepuff commonroom." He muttered before turning around and starting to walk away.

You caught up to him.

" What happened? Where did you go? Did you really join-"

" Yes. I did. I just want you to know, it's not by choice." Hoseok said, looking straight forward.

Your mouth went dry, not knowing what to say.

" Why are you even here anyway?" He asks at as the two of you near the castle.

" I need to escape that place. Even if it's just for a minute." You said with a sad undertone.

Hoseok nodded, he could understand why.

" You lost weight." He commented.

You turned to blink at him. 

From all the things he could say, these were the words that left his mouth?

" Sorry. Anyway, I'll act like I caught you outside, act like you're under the Imperius." Hoseok said as you now neared the entrance.

" What does that look like?" You asked puzzled.

" Just, act a little dreamy and oblivious." Hoseok stated as the two of you walked inside.

It didn't take long for one of the 'professors' to spot you two, and Hoseok nodded in his direction.

You didn't miss the cold look in his eyes, which had been replaced with something unreadable, had now returned.

The teacher didn't say anything and simply walked past.

Allong the way you also walked past professor McGonagall, who seemed suprised and worried at the same time at the scene.

" M-Mister Jung, I'm sorry about my student wandering around at night. I'll take her back to her House's commonroom-" She tried to interfere, but Hoseok shook his head.

" No need professor, I can handle this." Hoseok said, brushing past her before she could say anything else.

" There. Now stay out of trouble okay, I don't want anything to happen to you." Hoseok wishpered as he stood close to you, the sound of his voice only loud enough for you to hear.

You nodded, wishpering the password to the painting behind you.

" Hey Hobi." You said softly as you stood in the door opening, turning to look at him.

" Yes?" Hoseok's heart skipped a beat as you adressed him by his nickname.

The one you had given him at that too.

" I missed you." You told him with a small smile before stepping into the Hufflepuff commonroom and closing the painting door behind you.

Hoseok blinked at the door before a tiny smile made it's way to his face.

You were still there for him.

“ Who's that?” Yoonji asks him, her eyes motioning to the black haired girl who's quietly scribbling away in her notebook.

The class president's mouth opened and closed like a fish before giving her a hesitant answer.

“ That's Y/N, but she only brings people trouble. I'd recommend staying away from her.” Jimin answers.

“ Why's that?” She asks, now curious.

You looked like nothing but a sweet deer from here, delicately making notes and sometimes talking to your friends without taking your eyes off your notebook.

“ Just, trust me. I've heard she's got a criminal record and her and her friends have been kicked out for a few days more often than not.” He tells her.

Her eyebrows shoot up in suprise.

“ Wait, are you seriou-”

“ L/N, you draw in art class, not in Chemistry. Does this look like art class to you?” The teacher suddenly cuts Yoonji off as he scolds you.

You huff, continueing to draw and not even looking up at the teacher as you answer him.

“ I don't know old man, you tell me.” You say uninterested.

The teacher looks pissed by your answer, and Yoonji watches as he swipes his hand out to grab your notebook.

Your reflexes are quick, and you manage to keep it out of his grasp.

“ Hand me the notebook, L/N.” He says, obviously pissed now.

“ You really want to make a big deal out of my notebook? What an adult you are. Also why're you scolding me when I'm not even disturbing your lesson when there's currently three people on their phone and more than a few gossiping about nothing?” You ask him.

He huffs.

“ Detention.” He tells you before storming back to the whiteboard.

You don't seem bothered by his words in the slightest as you turn back to quietly scribbling in your notebook.

“ See, I told you  She's nothing more than trouble.” Jimin tells Yoonji, making her set her focus back onto him.

She nods, words not really forming in her mouth.

She's always heard from other people that she's the kind of girl your parents tell you to stay away from, she's never heard about someone like you. Someone who's probably worse than her.

Suddenly she sees you grinning at your notebook before your eyes lock with hers.

She understands what it means, you've heard them.

" Do you even see anything in here?" Jin asked as the two of you walked down into the cave.

It's been a few days since Sapphire and him moved into your home and he's mostly been outside of the cave-part of your home with Sapphire. Now that he's seen rabbits go out alive and go back alive too, he's become curious about what it feels like being down there. The two of you were currently walking down the cave's path.

" Not really. But I can feel the energy flow trough the walls and if you focus wel enough, you'll feel the movements around you trough the floor." You said.

Jin blinked.

You can feel the movements around you trough the floor?

" I'm starting to think that you lost your sanity a while back." Jin deadpanned.

You chuckled, the sound vibrating off the walls.

" I'm starting to think that the Pegasus Tribe is more distant from their own elements than expected." You bit back, tough it didn't feel like an offense, more like a curious statement.

" I geuss. I mean, I doubt I can do anything like what you can do." Jin said sadly.

You hummed in response.

" Tell me Jin, what can you do trough your soulmates bond?" You asked.

" Not much really. I can feel her emotions, when she's near, and I can hear her toughs. That's it, I think." Jin said, tough it seemed as if he was more of a question.

" Really that's all?" You asked, obviously suprised.

" Why do you sound so suprised? Can a soulmate bond be more than?" Jin asked, also suprised.

" Well, yes-" You said, cutting yourself off and pressing your palm against the wall as you stop walking.

Jin is about to ask you why you stopped, when the cave is suddenly dully lit again by flames.

He raised his eyebrows in suprise, Beansprout wasn't here, meaning you did this.

" How even-?" He starts.

You nod with a smile, taking your hand off the wall, tough the flames don't go off.

Jin watches in wonder around the cave, there's much more detail to it now that he can see it clearly.

The walls which he had believed were cold and naked, were actually a warm brown colour with moss growing here and there. Very few small plants are growing all over the place, and small animals hop by Jin's feet.

They're not shy like the animals who aren't soulmated in his own Tribe's space.

" The soulmate bond can be a lot more than just a connection." You smile, as Jin turns back to you with an amazed look.

You're now holding a rabbit, and while they usually feel unsafe when they're taken off the ground, this one seems to like being close to you as you softly pet his head.

" Wait, you can use Beansprout's power?" Jin asked in perplexion, never had he met anyone who could do that.

No one in the Pegasus Tribe or the Unicorn Tribe could, not even the chiefs.

" Yes, I can use his, and he can use mine." You tell him.

" But, how?" 

" Before the days where people could build houses and stables, they used to live on whatever magic they were in touch with. There's the four elements all our soulmates are in touch with, whenether they're aware of it or not, and then there's also the rare cases around it, like poisen." You said as you set the rabbit down again, who still stuck close by you.

" Wait, you mean to say that Sapphire could like, bend water?" He asked excitedly as the both of you walked again.

Your eyes widen in realization.

" Wait, Sapphire is not able to waterbend or something alike?" You asked, obviously suprised.

Jin swallowed.

"No? Is that bad?" Jin asked.

" No. I don't think so? I'm just suprised." You said as you two were now at the bottom of the cave.

The space was at the bottom was bigger than he expected, tough he had always seen it behind the glass, it now seemed to be around twice the size of Sapphire's old stable.

" It's prettier here up close." Jin said as he looked around.

You nod, no words leaving your mouth.

After a few moments of just playing and cuddling with the animals there, Jin's toughs leave to you.

He can see how the animals aren't carefull around you, not in the way they are around him. He can almost feel the connection you have with them. They don't see you as a person, more like an animal, a part of them.

The few animals who are near Jin are curious of him, but they don't cross any lines by getting close to him. The animals near you are all too happy to plop down in your lap and have you run your fingers trough their fur.

" Come sit here." You tell Jin, startling him out of his toughs as you pat the spot beside you.

He doesn't say anything, just does what's asked.

" They're all introverts. They won't reach our to you, you'll have to reach out to them." You tell him as you lift your hand where a tiny mouse peeks at him.

He once again doesn't say anything, instead holds out his hand to touch your own.

To his suprise, the mouse sniffs it before running over his arm and settling down onto his shoulder.

He smiles, and soon reaches out to the other animals as well, some even get bold enough to also plop down in his lap, only to look up at him and see if he minds. Once they know he doesn't, they curl up in a ball of fluff and simply rest there.

Now that he's practically surrounded by it, he realizes. 

The animals here aren't simply here because you're some sort of animal magnet. They're here because they can feel the warmth of your soulmate bond with Beansprout. It's so strong, that even Jin can almost feel it, being basket whitin the whole thing.

" Hey Y/N?" He asks, an idea sprouting in his mind.

You hum in response.

" Do you think you could teach me?" He asks, now also turning to look at you.

" Teach you what?" You ask, holding eye contact.

" On how to make my soulmate bond stronger. Like yours." He asks, even tough it's more of a statement.

You blink at him before smiling.

" I mean, yes. But I could also ask the teacher's here. They know how to learn you best, I think." You tell him.

" Did they teach you too?" He asks.

You shake your head with a sad smile.

" Only partly. My parents were pirates and because I caught a lot of attention from Sea Serpents and animals alike, they decided they did not want me. They dropped me off in the Death Valleys, and that's where I found Beansprout. Or well, he found me. I was just crying the whole time if I'm honest. But what could you expect? I was five when they dumped me there. Beansprout was the one who took care of me. As a human I had a hard time there, but I was safe in his cave. I only moved here when I was eleven, I had heard about the Dragon Tribe and wanted to check it out. We ended up staying here. And I got taught the little things I did not know about our bond." You tell him.

He's suprised to say the least. You were way stronger than you look.

" Wait, you used the bond the way our ancestors did. For survival." He realizes.

You think before nodding.

" I mean, yeah, I geuss so." You shrugg.

He smiles excitedly.

" I want you to be the one to teach me Y/N." 

" What? Are you sure?" You ask perplexed.

He nods enthusiastically.

" Yes. It has to be you. I'm sure of it." 

" Okay then. It'll be quite the trip. But it'll be worth it. We start in three days. So you better be ready by then."
