I love that the fandom has moved on from “Crowley and Aziraphale are angstily pining after each other, devastated and heartbroken” and moved to “Crowley and Aziraphale are the bitchiest and most passive aggressive divorced couple only communicating via their lawyers (Nina and Maggie)”

The hand that he had used to block Quackity swept forward to gesture at the goo. “Manners, Wilbur,” a smug smirk appeared on Quackity’s face at the opportunity to belittle him, “I think you mean who the fuck is that?” “Oh, I’m sorry,” Wilbur’s apology was nowhere near sincere, sarcasm dripping off of it and following through into the harshness of his next words. “The fuck is that?”

Quackity has found a strange, goopy assistant to help him out around Las Nevadas, but his less than helpful houseguest, Wilbur, has some incredibly loud reservations about the involvement of Slime, and it causes tension to build between the two - in more ways than one.

I think the larger MCYT fandom needs to come together to petition AO3 to change the character tags. Yes, it'll be annoying to redo for them and us, but I would MUCH rather tag things with shit like "Grian (Hermitcraft)" and "GoodTimesWithScar (Third Life)" instead of fuckin "Charles | Grian (Hermitcraft)" or "Ryan | GoodTimesWithScar (Third Life)", because I, and no one I know, have never thought of those cubitos/creators as Charles or Ryan instead of Grian or Scar. Bryce instead of fWhip? Hell even "Dave | Technoblade", even if it's not being changed and is wrong bc his name was Alex, it should be NOT THAT.

Their real life names should not be associated with the character name unless their username is different than the general name they use even in the content they produce (such as Jimmy | SolidarityGaming, Lizzie | LDShadowLady, or Martyn | InTheLittleWood). No one calls Bdubs "John" or "Booko". He's just Bdubs or BdoubleO100.

I know Mumbo's name is Oliver Brotherhood. But that's not the name I associate with him, and I'm willing to bet most fans don't associate "oliver brotherhood" with Mumbo either.

Content Creators should only have their iRL names attached to their AO3 tags if a) the tag is for ACTUAL RPF that isn't about the fictional personas, which SHOULD BE A SEPARATE TAG, or b) they actually go by their actual name in their content. And even then, if they don't go by their FULL NAME it should be "first name | username" not "full legal name | username". So "Scott | Smajor1995" or "Scott | DangThatsALongName", not "Scott Major | Smajor1995" or "Scott Major | DangThatsALongName". "MumboJumbo (Hermitcraft)" not "Oliver Brotherhood | MumboJumbo".

Just. We are the only ones that can tell AO3 why the tags are currently wrong. And we need to do so.

c!ranboo coming back from death like he crawled out of hell itself, their clothes washed of color and presence, their hair a matted fucking mess, and the inability to stay together as a person. aimsey going in for a hug because bloom doesn't know the rules of this world and is still getting used to it and ranboo immediately moves out of the touch as if one of their oldest friends tried to maim them. nobody knows what's going on.

c!ranboo starts hanging around tommy more. he's not replacing time with tubbo with tommy although they are afraid they haven't talked to their husband in so many fucking years although for the beloved of his life it's only been two months but tommy is the one who. gets it. ranboo comes back from hell and tubbo looks at him like he's trying to remember someone put them there, techno can't look at them, and aimsey looks at them as if she's meeting them for the first time and maybe bloom is but it just makes ranboo want to crawl right back to hell.

tommy's the only one who looks at ranboo. and sees the same person. maybe that's good and maybe that's bad but tommy's the only one who looks at them and sees ranboo.

then i have a new one i'm in the plotting process of, trying to do this one "correctly" this time, aka actually plotting out chapters and a Story before jumping in with nothing this time
