It just occurred to me that some people don't realize that 9/11 led to 50 shades of grey so

1- 9/11 happens

2- Gerard Way witnesses it and thinks about life

3- Gerard quits his job and starts a band (my chemical romance)

4- Stephanie Mayer is inspired my MCR and writes twilight

5- E.L. James wrote fanfiction based on twilight (50 shades of gray)

6- 50 shades gets published 10 years after 9/11

I just scrolled through instagram reels long enough that I got confused by AO3 tags omfg. There was the character tag "___ (minor)" and I just stared at it for like three minutes trying to figure out why they made her a minor.

Like I get they planned it in advance and has Luke and Penny's scenes pre-recorded but they didn't have to use them? How I met your mother is such a great show and it was so well known and I bet if they went with that ending it would have actually stayed popular rather than getting overlooked.
