Fun Fact: Pedro Pascal Also Auditioned For The Role Of Marcel. I'm Pretty Sure That If He Had Been Casted
Fun fact: Pedro Pascal also auditioned for the role of Marcel. I'm pretty sure that if he had been casted as Marcel, this version of him would have been holding hands with the Mikaelson.
And for Elijah, damn. I get why he put distance between himself and Marcel when he was a kid, because Klaus is crazy and all, but once he returned to New Orleans, there was no excuse for his behavior towards him. It was so mean for no reason. Like, leave my man alone ðŸ˜
quick thoughts that I have at mind in night: it makes me fucking mad how the writers handled Marcel and Klaus relationship.
Klaus was practically his father, and both Marcel and Klaus (and even Elijah) said a thousands of times they saw each other as father and son, because that's what they are.
But yet they practically were at each others throat 24/7. The Mikaelson (my baby girls all of them, except Mikael and Esther, they can rot) treated him like some outsider but welcomed Hayley (also my baby girl) with open arms.
(Not exactly tho, but you get my point. I could go on a whole speech about how the Mikaelson only see people they share blood with as family)
And I completely adore Hope, but why was she more important to Klaus than Marcel??? It's pushing the whole "bio kid is more important and loved that the adopted one" down our throats.
Also, I'm so mad they didn’t even get a goodbye scene in season 5. Fucking Caroline, his one night stand did, but not his own son?
I'm aware it's all fault of Julie Pl*c disgusting racist ass, but oh well.

Fr. I like Hayley, I think she's a good character and I acknowledge all of her wrongs (the killing of the twelve hybrids and the massacre of the witches, etc), but Phoebe's characterization is just poor.
She's a decent actress: the whole fight back scene with Klaus, Hope's birth, running from Elijah's red door version, bla, bla. But the more I watch The Originals, the more her acting is just untouching for me.
Her death scene made me cry the first time I watched it, but now it's just... uh. I know we were supposed to know/understand she was turning off her humanity while she was dying, but it was really strange. Her expressions just don't go with the scene. It's rare, and though I still find the scene sad, it’s not the same anymore for me.
And as you said, when she acts with people like Daniel, Claire, Joseph or such, it’s really clear she just doesn't know how to really act. Her facial expressions are all the same, and I feel people just ignore that because Phoebe is clearly beautiful.
As a matter of a fact, the only character of Phoebe I have seen is Hayley, so perhaps is just Hayley the one that wasn't good represented and I'm being too harsh.
I like Hayley, and I like Phoebe, and I like -sometimes- her acting. That's all.
rewatching TO and I really mourn the potential Hayley had, specially as Jackson wife/alpha. they could really go deep in the Andrea Labonair â„¢ storyline before season 4/5, but absolutely not. let's make haylijah against instead who tf cares anyway she was better with Jackson, was the first time Hayley had some nuance in the originals
It does not helps that, although they really tried to make it work to her, Phoebe Tonkin have absolutely two emotions and that's it. Most of Hayley's lack of appeal in most scenes it's due the fact the actress playing her does not have range. She has the same face when she's angry, when she's thought, when she's trying make the man in her life feel better or be better (why she's being used to placate Jackson's anger or to be Elijah's nightmare or to give Klaus a pep talk whenever he needs?) or even when she's supposed to be horny. And it's not like she does not have great performances as Hayley, she does, but those are so rare during seasons, such as Hope's birth or Jackson's death, her own death in season 5 and guess that's it.
Another actress could actually make Hayley work just fine. She was good in the vampire diaries because that was the attitude required to play the character Hayley was supposed to be in TVD but in TO she should be mature, an actual adult woman with actual conflicts and war back and forth, protecting a child, being in a marriage and in a relationship with a thousand years old vampire. She's none of those. Maybe Hayley is not even a Mary Sue or something, she just poorly acted and directed. She's surely well written. Her storyline, in my personal opinion, makes it perfect sense. But, Jesus... I'm struggling with the acting so bad.
It's worse when she's paired with an actress like Leah Pipes or the scenes she had with Charles Michael Davis, Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies itself. I love Phoebe, i think she's great, she was amazing in previous works, she had great performances outside The Originals. Hayley's portrait was the problem.
me to klaus mikaelson 🙈
id fuck a 1000yo vampire idgaf about the age gap shit. tell me about the monastic schools in central italy you have witnessed first-hand old man.
big smart brain: mermaids wouldnt have tiddies !! whats the point of fish people having tiddies…………… it just doesnt make sense biologically .. fish do not drink milk therefore mermaids wouldnt have a use for boobs … sure there can be fleshy pectorals but it just wouldnt make any sense that a (hypothetically) cold blooded fish lady would need boobs
even bigger gay lesbian brain: mhhmmrrhg…………….hhmg……….rhgm………. mermaid tits………………. fish boobies……hmhmmm
I'm shifting to rail Klaus Mikaelson, but also to give Rebekah Mikaelson and Bonnie Bennett the love they deserve 😧💨
I think we need to talk about Bex wanting to be human/she'll be in one future.
Now, I absolutely love Rebekah and I get why she wants to be human. But the fact that in the last episode she actually can be, is just completely strange.
I get that her family can protect her and stuff, but it just doesn't make sense, not just for storyline and stuff, but because of the writing.
How could she spend even one week as a human, let alone a whole life? The Mikaelson have countless enemies, and she just gets... to become human like it's nothing?? It doesn't sit right. She could be killed in one blink by one of her family's threats, and her actually getting to live and grow old just doesn't make sense.
And I think that, after she finally grew old and died, she wouldn't be able to see her siblings again (Klaus, Elijah and Finn). Because she would be human, so she couldn't get to the other side, as she didn't practice magic and was no longer a vampire. (I don't really remember a lot of things, I believe the afterlife in TVDU had like separated sides for supernatural and humans, but I could be wrong and I think in Legacies it's mentioned that every person, human or not, are in the same place once they die but I can't really affirm that since the only thing I see from that show are edits of TikTok lmao.)
This probably doesn't even make sense, but I just never liked how Bekah could just become human when she's a Mikaelson and she could get easily killed.
Anyways a photo of my sister in law, who I adore very dearly 🙌
