Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (1991) for the NES

It's fun to work with the color limitations of the NES, and also I'm a sucker for all-black UIs.

I made a font that matches the modern sans-serif style of the original but still fits into the one-letter-per-tile scheme, and I really like how it turned out.

Might make more AA stuff like this actually.

Book 2 PDF Release!

The title says everything, really! As per usual, Book 2 has .pdf versions ready to go; one is a "regular" version intended for reading on a monitor or phone screen, and another is a print version intended for, well, printing out (I've also learned from a friend it works quite well on Kindles, though you may need to convert it to ePub)!

Post-Book 2 Plans

I promise, this is the last one for today!

With Book 2 out, I'm going to not really have a lot to show you all in the months ahead; I admit that I risk splitting myself a little thin between starting to write Book 3 and doing the audiobook adaptation for Book 1 (and, inevitably, the audiobook adaptation of Book 2). My hope is that I will find some kind of balance, but it will likely take time and no small amount of frustration.

I think I will probably share a lot of snippets from the writing process of Book 3 from here til whenever it is done (my best guess is early summer, but I can surprise myself sometimes). Once all the drafting is done, I'll make a formal announcement, and ditto when the editing is done. After that, expect Book 3 to go online much like how Book 2 did - two to three chapters a day (it depends on the book's length) until it is finished, with .pdf releases the day of completion. My goal is to also be able to start working on Book 3's audiobook during or after that posting period so that there won't be a tremendous wait to catch up with things.

Book 1 Audiobook!

I am really, really happy to announce that I've put up the first chapter of Light's Falle, Book 1 on YouTube as an audiobook. This is going to be an ongoing process over the span of the next few months parallel to my writing endeavors to provide a new way to access what I've made.

This has been a project in the back of my mind for a while, as accessibility is important to me. I was not expecting the process to go as smoothly(tm) as it did, and I expect to be learning a lot over the due course of time as I experiment, finagle, and learn the lay of the land!

Please expect future uploads at my channel, accessible here, in the days and weeks to come! My goal is to have every chapter of every book uploaded and available to listen to!
