been a while since ive posted brainrots but imagine genshin sagau (the one with creator!reader) except it’s sort of like surviving romance from webtoon 😍😍😍⁉️⁉️⁉️

basically, you wake up in genshin one day — how awesome right? except, it’s not awesome when the first thing that happened to you when you stepped foot into mondstadt are two knights accusing you for “copying the divine creator” before killing you straight away without letting you speak.

what’s weirder is how just when you thought you’ll wake up to your world from your weird dream, you wake up in the same spot in genshin. it took another death for you to put two together that every time you die, time somehow rewinds back to when you first wake up in genshin.

so like any other person, you decided to try and not to die while thinking of a way to go back to your home.

one detail about this strange situation is how every time you go back in time, no one seems to remember the events that occurred, making it somewhat easier for you to not do the same mistakes you did.

it should’ve been easy — especially in a game like genshin impact — but it’s not easy when every single characters in the game, including the ones you loved so much when they were just fictional characters, are after your head for the same reason as your first two killers: for copying the divine creator with no shame!

it was during your fourth life when you found out about this divine creator that made life hard for you. apparently, there’s someone out there who has the same face as you and is the “god” of teyvat that everyone worships, and you’re unfortunately considered an imposter in this world who must be wiped out.

another thing about your situation is that somehow, all other living beings — be it hilichurls, slimes, and even ruin guards — are nice to you, helping you get away from the cruel npcs and characters who want nothing but your head.

take note, that’s not the strangest thing in this weird world.

after a near-death experience thanks to the darknight hero, you found out that your blood is the color of gold—

and every time a character sees it, it seems as if they woke up from a brainwash (plot twist, the imposter brainwashed the acolytes into thinking they’re the real one thanks to dottore’s inventions or an ability of theirs).

to make things angsty; if you somehow managed to made everyone convinced that you’re actually the creator that they oh so worshipped and praised, the real imposter will immediately kill you out of desperation, causing you go back to square one and on the verge to just give up.

but what if, somehow, when you go back to square one after that, some characters actually remembered the past event?

Just Malleus

Imagine this... *self aware AU*

Twisted Wonderland was originally planned to be an otome game. However the developers made the decision to make it a visual novel without any romantic routes implied, leading to the current version of the current game. But while the developers believed to have removed all codes of the otome game, one character remained self aware.

The ‘first’ character to be created, Malleus Draconia.

As the lonely high prince of the Briar Valley, companionship is something he longed for. And to have a way to find find that companionship, romance being an added value, Malleus could not let this opportunity escape.

So he manipulated the code. Allowing only his ‘character’ to have slight romantic moments with the player. And after days of interacting with the player, he falls deeper in love with them. He continues this process, pushing the player to like him more while he finds a way to initiate a more intimate connection with them.

Plot twist: Seeing Malleus showing more care to the player and vice versa, the other characters slowly catch on and make their own moves.

If the character is a Genshin character:

oh boy, this could cause major issues

honestly it depends on what character is saved on the device, but the other characters? they literally become the definition of jealous.

if the character saved is like Kaeya, Tartaglia or Venti, their ego is boosted. like massive ego boost, the character now has "instagram influencer in public" levels of ego.

heck, Tartaglia gets borderline disrespectful to some of the other characters, like he would go "yeah but are you the one saved on the Creator's device"

Venti keeps the ego boost mostly to himself, but people looking at him can TELL he's over the moon.

Kaeya? he's unironically probably the most humble about it. like he has the ego boost, but he's not disrespectful about it, but at the same time, he isn't gonna hide it either.

he WILL tease Diluc with it though.

on the flip side, if it's like Kokomi or Thoma, they are more of the 'gets all stuttery and honoured and honestly can i say flustered here' type

they're still happy, don't get me wrong, but it's like they don't know what to say

Diluc and Alhaitham, if they're the ones saved, are indifferent. they do not care but they do care deep down but they don't care.

If the character is NOT from Genshin:

confusion time

the genshin characters WILL work out who this person you have saved is

some may even attempt to bring the character to life using something (alchemy, puppetry, etc.)

expect to see at least one new voiceline from each character talking about this one you have saved

they are all jealous, every single one (maybe not qiqi) (sayu as well she's probably asleep)

uhh yeah more sagau stuff, also probably slightly out of character but hey feedback is appreciated
