Sagau Impostor Au - Tumblr Posts
Aranara Mafia AU
-> Pt. 2
In Liyue, because of the recent famine, everything's also been collapsing, slowly but surely.
Ever since the Impostor disappeared, Liyue's trading ports have been closed due to how unstable the waters have been. Many suspect that it's a punishment from The Divine one for failing to capture the Impostor.
A few weeks since all ports in Liyue have shut down, the millelith started reporting more frequent robberies, mostly from small shops.
Oddly enough, the only things that went missing were either seeds for various fruits and vegetables, or fertilizer. Sometimes even mora in large quantities.
Because of the lack of seeds and fertile land, fresh food is now a rare delicacy. The common folk are forced to eat nothing but dried grain and snow.
Today is another ordinary day in Wangsheng Funeral parlor. Due to malnutrition everywhere, Wangsheng Funeral Parlor has been making quite a lot of mora.
Until one day, they receive an odd request from a customer. This customer in particular was from a group of anonymous people. But during these hard times, mora is mora, so they comply.
The request was to go to the Chasm, at midnight, around Cinnabar cliff, with 3 wooden coffins. So HuTao and Zhongli went there and arrived exactly at 12 AM.
Once they reached there, there was no one..? They tried searching the area a few times, but found nothing so HuTao went back to Liyue Harbour first, then after around 45 minutes Zhongli gave up and planned on going back to Liyue
His plan was interrupted as a bush started rustling near him. And from the bush emerged a small.. radish..? It was wearing sunglasses and a suit, smoking a cigar while holding a gun aimed directly at his head.
"Dig. Now."
Zhongli was slightly flabbergasted, about to disarm the small radish when another, and another, and another
Until around 8 popped out, all armed with guns.
"Hmph. Like I said, dig now, or else." The one smoking the cigar said. And so, Zhongli dug 3 holes, wondering if he's dreaming or erosion's finally taking a toll on his eyesight.
The other 7 radishes dragged out 3 dead millelith soldiers, putting each in a coffin one by one. At this point, Zhongli didn't know what to do at this point, he was confused, slightly scared, and more flabbergasted than ever. If he told anyone else about this, they'd send Zhongli to a mental asylum (if they exist in Teyvat) or laugh it off, thinking he was a silly old man with silly stories.
Once the radishes finished pushing the coffins into the recently dug holes, they walked away. The first radish, that's still smoking his cigar, hands Zhongli a leaf with a weird drawing on it and leaves a sack on the ground.
Meanwhile, in Vanarana
You should've kept your phone safely in your room.
If you had done that, then maybe the aranara wouldn't have tried making a gun.
Maybe they wouldn't have succeeded and made more.
Maybe the 3 millelith who were patrolling near Sumeru's entrance would still be alive.
Or maybe, the aranara wouldn't be attempting to make a full-blown nuclear bomb.
The aranara dance around you, giving you flowercrowns and thanking you for the knowledge you(r phone) gave them, now they're able to defend themselves against marana and evil nara around.
Should I make the next chapter about the Aranara testing nuclear weapons on Inazuma?
Also the aranara smoking a cigar is Arabalika :]

How would SAGAU!imposter cult au be like now that Natlan has been released?
It was revealed that most people of Natlan don't go outside their Nation, otherwise they will experience things like memory loss and will forget about their ancient name.
If we think about it, then they wouldn't really have a way to know about the chase for the imposter. The other nations could inform them, but they would probably be too busy to catch the imposter for themselves.
Imagine when you reach Natlan, you are so surprised by how nice the people were. You first saw the children of echoes, where you met Kachina. She was feeling awful by looking at the amount of scars you had, so she gave you some candy! You were sniffling back tears from the food that she gave, it's been so long since someone treated you with this much hospitality! She gave you food, water, clothes and even a place to stay within the children of echoes!
After a bit, she also introduced you to her friends! At first, you thought they wouldn't be as nice as Kachina, but they were also very kind to you! Mualani and Kinich were so nice to hang out with.
Eventually, you do meet the Pyro archon, Mavuika. You were scared to meet her, since she could easily turn everyone on your back, but to your surprise that didn't happen.
"You are our divine creator, are you not?"
You were scared to answer that, but you did, hoping you could finally escape this hell hole. Mavuika did nothing but make you feel comfortable. She allowed you to keep your identity hidden and stay in the children of echoes. She didn't tell anyone else about your identity, assuring you that nothing would happen to you.
However, your friends do find out. You were exploring Natlan with Mualani, Kinich and Kachina, until suddenly- you got a prick on your finger! You tried to stop the bleeding but they already saw. To say they were shocked was an understatement. They began apologizing, treating their creator so casually was definitely a sin! But you forgave them, how could you not?
Meanwhile, in the other nations, they found traces of golden blood around the places you used to be in. They are now panicking that they just hunted down their creator. They would get word about your whereabouts soon enough, even if you don't want them to.

I've found myself in a hole of sagau recently so here's my idea thrown into the mix.
An imposter au where the Reader is immediately able to fight back because they have their Honkai Impact 3rd characters, who could recognise them at first glance, with them.

Finding yourself trapped in the sagau imposter au would be a troubling situation for anyone. Well, anyone but you, that is.
See, the thing is, you were not only an avid player of Genshin Impact; but one of Honkai Impact 3rd too. In fact, you started playing Honkai way before Genshin came out. You were already at the max level for Honkai, unlike Genshin. What, with your captain level resting at level 88 as opposed to your adventure rank 57.
You spent more time on Honkai than you ever did on Genshin. Even your unbuilt Honkai characters could reach the damage levels your Xiao reached because of Honkai's insane damage scaling.
So even if in this world, your genshin characters forgot who you were, you knew for sure your girls had your back. They definitely remembered their captain that they would personally greet on the bridge every time you logged in.
So no, you weren't worried about the sagau imposter au.
In fact, to say you weren't worried would be a total understatement.
"Kanchō!" Kiana's, the Herrscher of Flamescion, determined hues landed on your form as she thrusted the arm of a familiar bard roughly in front of her. "Would you like us to eliminate them for daring to lay a hand on you?"
"Tut tut tut~." Elysia, the Herrscher of Human Ego, playfully smiled - although the dangerous glint in her eyes gave away her true feelings instantly. "How could they not recognise the cute, unforgettable face of our kanchō? Of course, not as cute as me~."
In her hands was the mighty geo archon himself, Zhongli.
Mei, the Herrscher of Thunder, threw her almost identical look-alike to the ground not long after. "This... 'archon' takes on my physical appearance but she is far weaker to me by comparison. Both in physical and mental fortitude."
As your Valkyries glared down at the inferior characters, said characters held their head down in shame. Not from the bitter taste of defeat, no, but rather from the feeling of disappointment in themselves for not recognising you as immediately as your other-world acolytes.
"We are deeply sorry, great creator." Zhongli's deep voice resonated through the area. "Had we known the other was a fake, we would have-."
"Ah ah ah~." Elysia raised her hand, wagging her index finger from side to side with each word she had said. "No excuses. If you can't recognise our kanchō, you aren't good enough to worship our kanchō; let alone speak to them."
Venti was trembling, his lips jutted out as tears pricked the corner of his eyes, his thoughts a complete mess.
All of your followers were horrified, disgusted in themselves for worshipping a fake this whole time, questioning their previous action and regretting ever setting out for your head.
"To have raised a sword against Kanchō," Kiana piped up once more. "It's unforgivable."
Ah yes, what happened mere moments before, when you had just arrived at the first bit of civilisation you had seen since being isekai'd. At the time, you were alone, no Valkyries keeping you company.
You had just stepped foot into Inazuma when a bright flash of lightning briefly crossed your eyes, a purple sword ready to slice you in half appearing not long after.
You didn't even have the time to register fear - luckily enough, you didn't need to. The sword was halted before it could reach you, the familiar long locks of a Valkyrie you frequently played as blocking your vision from your attacker.
"Mei?" At your call, she tossed her head back. "Wha-? What are you doing in the Genshin Impact world?"
"Keeping you safe, kanchō." She answered before swiftly returning her gaze to the front of her, heaving against the other character's sword with such strength, they were knocked back several feet, losing balance and falling over completely. "You dare make an attempt at my kanchō's life?!"
As she leapt away to go fight the Raiden Shogun, an arrow shot through the air, aiming straight at your head.
You would have been none the wiser to it had it not been for-.
"Kiana?" The white locks held up in a high ponytail belonging to the main character of Honkai Impact 3rd appeared before you. "You too?"
"Shōsa would get mad at me if I ever let anything happen to you." She gave you a gentle smile as she held the great sword her teacher once wielded with a tight grip. "I also wouldn't be able to forgive myself if anything happened to you."
With that, she was off.
Okay, so that was two attacks in a row by two archons. Surely, the third one doesn't want to-.
"Calm down, kanchō~." A familiar playful voice reached your ears. "It's just me, you're quite jumpy right now, hm~?"
"Anyone would be after being attacked twice in a row, Elysia."
Her pink, crystal eyes shone with mirth as she gave you a little giggle. "Don't worry, the most beautiful girl ever, Elysia, will make sure not a harm lays on your head."
Your own eyes crinkled with amusement at her words. "Glad to hear that, oh-so-beautiful Elysia."
She looked ready to respond when, suddenly, her expression shifted and her eyes narrowed. She quickly tugged at your wrist, pulling you behind her before she took out her bow and shot it at an angle ahead of you.
"Sorry to cut this short, kanchō. Someone seems to want to be greedy and take my attention away from you! I'll be right back~!"
You pursed your lips as she, much like all your other Valkyries, left you in pursuit of your hitman.
Just what was going on here?
"The Bronya will get to the bottom of it." You jumped upon hearing the voice with a hint of a Russian accent to it.
"Ooh! Ooh! Me too! Me too!" Another, more childish, voice spoke up.
Two more of your Herrschers seemed to have joined you.
And that all led to this moment.
"Kanchō." The deadpan voice of Bronya, the Herrscher of Reason, drew all of your attentions to her. "We have located the imposter. The Bronya wants to ask kanchō about what would be a sufficient punishment for them."
After her statement, the Herrscher of Sentience came in, very roughly throwing what looked to be like a clone of you, at your feet. "Yatta! That was so easy!"
The imposter shook with fear, their eyes trailing up slowly to meet with your cold gaze.
"So you're the one parading around as me, huh? Hmm, let's see, what would be a sufficient punishment for you?"
Kanchō is the Japanese word used to refer to the captain of a warship.
Shōsa is like lieutenant commander or major in Japanese. Kiana is talking about Himeko when she says shōsa.
I made this cuz when Genshin turns against you, at least Honkai will have your back 😌

looked at this template and immediately thought sagau imposter au where the creator is down bad for everyone🤭 (click for better quality)
No but imagine the SAGAU Impostor AU Reader having a Shane-like attitude when it comes to the eventual confrontation and possibly being killed by their favorite characters like:
Facing Xiao: hey there demons, its me, ya boi. *gets killed*
About to get their head chopped off by Ei: I came here to meet Thoma and honestly i feel so attacked right now. *gets killed*
Having 5 seconds to live before getting smashed by a meteor: this whole continent sucks balls. I’m leaving a Yelp- *gets crushed*
Like just having this shitty indifference about being killed and all like - oh hey i lived. too bad for them.
And when they find out about the eventual different colored blood, the reader’s all like “wait yall are fucking real??? I thought this was a buzzfeed ep or smth”
isn't this just C!Impostor Reader but more cocky lmao-
But fr tho, that's my favorite type of personality for a reader or any mc in any fic ever
The indifference, the nonchalant, the no fucks to give type of mc, is the best character EVER
Just them dying repeatedly and making a game out of tho (still thinking it's a weird semi-realistic fantastical dream that may or may not have resulted because of edibles)
They just start listing out really different and ridiculous, super specific type of deaths just to see if they're able to die that way
Or just them trying to complete their own bingo card of deaths
listing out the shit they been through like;
Beheaded
Shot by an arrow
Electrocuted to death
Fell from a cliff
Tripped and ate shit
respectfully got killed by a cryo slime
or sum shit like that aihbfiuaofn- :'D
They just become so chaotic and just do such Shane-like shit
They could be bleeding from a shot through the stomach and while still able to move and survive for like- another 20 seconds, they just draw out a pentagram on the floor with their own blood, just cupping the leaking blood from their stomach and using it like paint
And then as soon as it's done, they just lay down in the middle of it and say "Here we go! Rock 'n Roll Buckaroo!!"
The archer who just shot you is just looking at this weird ass self-sacrificial (??) ritual with a really disturbed and completely confused expression like- what in archon's name are they looking at?
Anyway- yeah, can you tell I've thought a lot about this? :D
I've said it in comms and I'll say it again.
BEEG BRAIN
This is kinda like Re:Zero honestly
been a while since ive posted brainrots but imagine genshin sagau (the one with creator!reader) except it’s sort of like surviving romance from webtoon 😍😍😍⁉️⁉️⁉️
content // blood, violence, religious themes, grammar errors
basically, you wake up in genshin one day — how awesome right? except, it’s not awesome when the first thing that happened to you when you stepped foot into mondstadt are two knights accusing you for “copying the divine creator” before killing you straight away without letting you speak.
what’s weirder is how just when you thought you’ll wake up to your world from your weird dream, you wake up in the same spot in genshin. it took another death for you to put two together that every time you die, time somehow rewinds back to when you first wake up in genshin.
so like any other person, you decided to try and not to die while thinking of a way to go back to your home.
one detail about this strange situation is how every time you go back in time, no one seems to remember the events that occurred, making it somewhat easier for you to not do the same mistakes you did.
it should’ve been easy — especially in a game like genshin impact — but it’s not easy when every single characters in the game, including the ones you loved so much when they were just fictional characters, are after your head for the same reason as your first two killers: for copying the divine creator with no shame!
it was during your fourth life when you found out about this divine creator that made life hard for you. apparently, there’s someone out there who has the same face as you and is the “god” of teyvat that everyone worships, and you’re unfortunately considered an imposter in this world who must be wiped out.
another thing about your situation is that somehow, all other living beings — be it hilichurls, slimes, and even ruin guards — are nice to you, helping you get away from the cruel npcs and characters who want nothing but your head.
take note, that’s not the strangest thing in this weird world.
after a near-death experience thanks to the darknight hero, you found out that your blood is the color of gold—
and every time a character sees it, it seems as if they woke up from a brainwash (plot twist, the imposter brainwashed the acolytes into thinking they’re the real one thanks to dottore’s inventions or an ability of theirs).
to make things angsty; if you somehow managed to made everyone convinced that you’re actually the creator that they oh so worshipped and praised, the real imposter will immediately kill you out of desperation, causing you go back to square one and on the verge to just give up.
but what if, somehow, when you go back to square one after that, some characters actually remembered the past event?
and how can they help you?
*insert surprised pikachu face*
Whoah, cool
Genshin Sagau Idea
I'm not entirely sure if this has been known before (i'm falling behind in my genshin sagau reading, sobbing) but you know how the reader is considered as the "Creator" and all that? So I was thinking...
That during the hunt, Reader figures out how to make their OCs (or, in general, characters) come to real life and aid them. Just imagine all the possibilities! If Reader can actually create characters in Sagau Imposter AU, this makes it a whole lot more challenging for the characters to a) catch Reader and b) trust the imposter on the throne. They all know that these OCs were never seen before, so where are they coming from? The imposter certainly couldn't have created them, they attack the characters on sight or just act straight up hostile!
Though I feel like this is a little bit too OP, so I'll place a few restrictions that I think might make it a bit more interesting:
✦ Reader can only make up to 3 characters at a time. Just to prevent Reader for making like- an army in less than 30 seconds- Oh, and what would happen if Reader would make more than 3? Well, the 4th would malfunction, and Reader may feel a great backlash of some sort. It's only after Reader claims their throne that all characters can co-exist without a limit. This is because the throne is known as the Creator's Throne, the throne they made once they finished creating Teyvat. It's long forgotten and abandoned before the Imposter took its seat.
✦ Each character can only have one element/main power that they rely on for the most part. Said-powers cannot be manipulation to light, shadows, time, etc., just to prevent OP characters. The character has to have a basic key of one of Genshin Impact elements. For example, Reader could make OC #1 have powers to control rain. This is allowed because it's focused around the basic key of hydro. If the Reader wishes to use another element because they want OC #1 to turn that rain into a storm, it is allowed, because they will need either anemo or electro. However, Reader cannot give OC #1 both anemo and electro with their current hydro. Reader can only give another basic key element to thus make it OC #1's element: storm manipulation. (In a way, think of it as Andrius. The dude is known for the cold winds, and that's a combo of cryo and anemo.)
✦ Each character must have a well-built/decently enough of a backstory in order for it to function. This includes the basics of personality, like "honest," "caring," "Sly," etc. They can also have their own kind of quirks, but as long as the basics of the character's personality and their backstory are created, Reader doesn't need to fully focus on the more unique parts at the very moment. What would happen if Reader tries to make a character with not enough basic backstory or personality? They act like rag dolls. Sure, Reader's made them, and they gave them powers, but they need their own personality and backstory in order to function. People are based off of memories, which extends to their personality, favorite things, etc.
✦ Once killed, Reader is unable to revive said-character until they reclaim their throne, once and for all. Yes, the characters can die! They can be killed if they are not careful, so the Reader needs to make sure their 3 characters don't immediately throw themselves into danger, especially if Reader is already emotionally attached to said-character(s). If a character does die, they will stay as a dead corpse until they are cremated, which they will then turn into golden and silver dust. If Reader had already made up to 3 characters and one of them dies, Reader can make a new OC on their team. The reason why I said "until" is because I would feel kinda bad just killing off one of my own OCs, so until Reader can reclaim their title as "creator" and throw the imposter off their throne, the character stays dead.
✦ Reader cannot make duplicates of the same character. This ties with the previous one. Say OC #1 dies in a battle to let the Reader escape, OC #2 & #3 following them to protect them. Reader cannot make a duplicate to replace OC #1. They have to make another character entirely. Thus OC #4 exists. Reader can make twin OCs, however, they will occupy two slots of their 3 Character team.
I have a feeling once Reader reclaims their title as the Creator, their OCs will be called something like "The Divine Legion" or smth lol. It would be very interesting to see though!
Alright, that's all I got! Thanks for reading :) The Ghost Rebel's out!

Ghost Rebel Side Note: I think this is one of my longest posts yet! And thank you all so much for 69 followers; this means a lot to me! I've also been thinking—should I try making headcanons for specific characters for Sagau Genshin? I can't promise every personality of each character will be exact (most likely some will be too OOC), but I want to try a little. Would do you think? Feel free to let me know of anything else you want to add to this post! I might make a part 2 if people actually like this idea :) Alright, I'm heading out now. See you all later!

imagine sagau imposter au and the characters are like “how dare you impersonate our creator!!!” while the “impostor” is like “how the FUCK am i impersonating a whole ass company?????”
some sagau (impostor au specifically) brainrot again
SPOILERS BTW. BEIDOU LORE?, ABYSS AND KHAENRI’AH LORE (interlude chasm chapter??) btw a lot of this is my opinion
1. imagine the “impostor” hiding in dragonspine and adventurers going in are like “is dragonspine a little bit warmer or am i tripping” bcs theyre there
2. i feel like kazuha and beidou would be great allies in the au. like. kazuha can feel the wind right. so it goes like “THATS THE CREATOR THATS THEM OH SHIT OOH SHIT GO GO GO” when looking at them. and so if kazuha believes, beidou might too.
i dont feel like she’d really care about those gods as much as others. and you’re saying you don’t know about any “almighty creator” anyway. she’d probably know what it feels to be shunned for something you can’t control.
(edit!!: FORGOT TO MENTION SOMETHING!!! so it'd be really easy to for them to keep you safe cuz yknow. they're on a ship a lot. you can travel and live safely nad freely!!!!! 🥰🥰)
3. how does the abyss know you’re the creator in most fics? they were humans before, right?? like, i can understand elemental beings, like slimes, spectres, etc. but they aren’t like them. also weren’t they a godless nation? idk just i’ really curious
kinda part 2 Drabble to my hidden creator and imposter deal thingy idk… er enjoy though
Inspired by a comment I received too so :3

While you faked your identity, your friendship with the imposter grew stronger. They enjoyed your presence just as much as you enjoyed theirs. The others didn’t enjoy that though, feeling a tinge of jealousy towards you for getting so close to their lord (which is funny). They begin shunning you from outings with the imposter, keeping you away from them as much as possible.
Although your desperate attempts to keep your identity a secret from all the characters, some seemed to realize who was the true fake. Most went to you, encouraging you to fight off the imposter. While others wanted to kill the imposter themselves. You felt discomforted by their actions, telling them to quit it. They abide to your word, even though they still felt betrayal from the imposter, your friendship with them made it even more painful to endure.

Imposter: Good to see you again! I brought some of your favorite things.. here!
You: ohh, Thanks a lot! I picked you some flowers while i walked here!
Characters seething in the back, gritting their teeth.
Imposter: sorry about them.. are you sure you don’t wanna reveal yourself?
You: ehh, I’m okay. They can cry about it later, instead let’s enjoy our day together!
Imposter: hmm.. okay! (^_^)
Trial By Combat
Requested By: No one. Original Work.
CW: Mentions of dying, Impostor SAGAU
Summary: After being declared an imposter, you decide to duel to defend your honor rather than stand trial.
Note: Fontaine is amazing. I’m loving every bit of it rn especially Neuvillette, Navia, and Chlorinde.
If you haven’t finished the Fontaine Archon quest, please exit stage left.
Part Two Part Three

-
You never even made it to the Court Of Fontaine before you were confronted by Focalors, the Hydro Archon, of being an imposter of the Creator of Teyvat. In her own eccentric way, she throws accusations at you. ‘To take the face of the Creator is not only a crime in Fontaine but in all of Teyvat!’
You deny her claims but she only laughs, ‘you’re acting ignorant, as if you do not know who the Creator is. Do you have any evidence to prove your innocence?’
You look down, there was no evidence you had that would prove to her and everyone else that this was the face you were born with, or that you never heard of this Creator before.
“The trial of the Century” is what the Steambird called it.
The Opera House was as full as ever, many people wanting to see the verdict the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale would give or wanting to see the one who dared to imitate Their Grace.
Maybe it was out of spite or your own foolishness, but you never allowed the trial to fully begin. Turning to Neuvillette, you declare that you want to duel rather than stand trial.
Despite the protests of Focalors, who wanted to prosecute you, the wish is granted.
The weight of the sword felt unbearable in your clammy hands as you stared at your opponent. Champion Duelist Clorinde stares back nonchalantly, her face not giving any clues on how she felt in this moment. However you heard rumors that she personally requested to duel you.
You readjusted your grip on the hilt as you fix your stance.
Was this truly the correct course of action? To fight and prove your innocence when you know that there’s no way you can win?
No it didn’t matter, you can’t back out now.
The crowd watches eagerly waiting for the duel to begin, how could the people of Fontaine do this? You were a real person and they acted as if you were a character on stage and the play was about to reach it’s final act. The excited looks on their face made your blood boil. If you somehow manage to make it out of this, you would make them pay.
You take one final glance at Furina before the duel commences.
Clorinde wastes no time to strike, using her electro vision, she effortlessly knocks your sword out of your hand and drags her blade down your torso.
Whether her fatal blow was an act of mercy or a warning for anyone else who dared to take the Creators face, the duel was over as soon as it started.
But…
No this couldn’t be right…
Clorinde looks down at her weapon, the golden ichor that dripped onto the floor caused her eyes to widen as she looks at your limp body by her feet.
She immediately drops her weapon as she kneel not caring as the blood began to stain her clothing. Her hands press against your chest to slow the bleeding as she calls out to the crowd.
“We need a doctor!”
A medical team rushes down to your side making haste to attend to your wounds, your vision begins to blur as the mortified looks of Fontaine citizens watch in despair hoping that your life could be saved.
Furina, who sat at the top like always, quickly backs away before anyone could question her. How could she face her people when she was the one who laid these accusations at your feet? How could she face you?
She prays, hoping that an act of mercy could be given to her and her people, how could she call herself an Archon now?
The original publication by the Steambird was quickly scrapped and replaced with “The Creator of Teyvat Falsely Accused of being an Imposter.”
And it didn’t take long for the devastating news to reach the other nations too.

Sorry I had to write a little something for SAGAU Fontaine but now I will return to the requests everyone sent 🏃🏽♀️

Gnaw (part 1)
Contains: Body Horror, Blood, Violence
You had fallen to Teyvat some time ago, pulled down from the sky by a brilliant platinum star, the elements gently beckoning for you, all of them trying to prove their land the most suitable for your descent.
"Welcome back, Sea-shaper," Hydro murmurs, their voice the babbling of streams and the roar of the angry sea all at once. "Fontaine has such sights to show you. As you created, we have created to honor your actions. For your beauty, we have made our people beautiful. You will want for nothing-"
"COME TO US, HOLY TINDER," Pyro roars, its voice the starving crackle of flame and the churning of molten rock as volcanoes erupt. "NATLAN AWAITS YOU WITH AN OFFERING OF ENDLESS PASSION. YOU SHALL NEVER GO UNPROTECTED, UNLOVED, OR HUNGRY."
"Welcome, almighty Whirlwind of Creation," Electro purrs, speaking with the rattle-boom of echoing thunder. "Shall you grace my people with your presence?"
"Welcome home, Blessed Foundation," Geo hums, their voice the whispers of sand and the ancient growl of tectonic plates shifting. "Liyue has grown prosperous since you've last seen it. Perhaps you should come to us instead, where the riches of Teyvat could be put directly to use in pleasing you?"
"Don't listen to them, First Breath! We've waited for you the longest, like, a whole forever! We were first!" Anemo pleads, in the tones of breeze softly rustling leaves and howling tornadoes. "Even if you just stop by, that's totally fine!"
"You've finally come home, Heart of Winter? Good. We have missed you so." Cryo coos, the flurrying of snow and ancient creaking of glaciers their voice. "Snezhnaya may be a harsh land, but faith is enough to warm the bodies of my people."
"Flower of Irminsul, Root of All, please! You cannot come down! Another wears your face, please turn back if only for a few more days!" Dendro howls, desperate, voice a cacophony of falling trees and leaves rustling. "You ar-"
Dendro's voice fades as you pass the point of no return and begin to burn through the sky towards Mondstadt, Anemo ripping at the air to direct your course even as the other elements rage at them for their impudence.
As you fall, the memory of this conversation fades from your mind.
Welcome home, Maker, whispers the Abyss into the back of your mind.
Since that day, your time in Teyvat had become quite difficult. Whatever hopes you'd had for this world were soundly dashed.
Mondstadt 'welcomed' you with scorn and hostility for sharing the same face as their Heiliger Schöpfer, the Divine above Divines.
You were unsure as to why they hated you so, simply for your face- especially since that face is one that's otherwise looked kindly upon in this world.
You do your best to take in the sights, all the same. Though you are confused by the frosty reception, this place is so much more interesting than the game shows.
There are many more homes and people, you see (and pet) some stray animals, pick a particularly low philanemo mushroom after a couple seconds of jumping and stretching in an attempt to reach it, and generally just enjoy the (rather tense) locale.
Your confusion became fear when the Knights of Favonius begin to chase you. You'd done no crime, why would they hunt you like this, especially with such wrathful looks on their faces?!
The closest you get to meeting any of the allogenes on friendly terms comes when you breeze past Sucrose, yelping out a greeting to her. She just watches you go, incredibly confused, before a Knight accidentally bowls her over in his maddened rush after you.
Just as you exit the gate, the Knights just behind you, yelling curses and what you presume are threats-
P a i n.
Eula Lawrence just pushed a greatsword through your lungs and out your back. You have no clue how she got here so fast, where from, or how you didn't notice her.
You gag and choke as your blood quickly rushes into the space (and out of your body, simultaneously).
With a vicious yank, she tears it from you in a diagonal motion, nearly carving you in half.
A darkly satisfied look in her eyes is all you receive when you uselessly try to gasp for air and plead for help.
Your vision begins to fade, but before you can die of blood loss her boot comes down.
(Your nascent godhood activates the moment you die, and it plots a new trajectory: your misery will shape you until such a time comes that you will never feel this suffering again.)
You wake screaming in the woods, hands coming to clutch at your chest.
A massive golden scar lies just between your xiphoid process and sternum, perfectly horizontal in a way that only comes with practice.
Your clothes are covered in the brownish rusty red of old dried blood, and quite badly torn from where you were sliced nearly in two.
Breathing feels... easier, somehow. Like your lungs didn't just heal from immense trauma.
Your stomach aches badly and your mouth feels like it's full of sand. How long have you been laying here beneath the sun?
Your attempts to rise from this resting place are fruitless. You're so exhausted you can barely move your fingers.
Darkness slowly weighs your eyelids down and you fall asleep, even though you know you should not.
---
Elsewhere in the world, a being wearing your face stares up at a statue to themselves, noting with some alarm the golden scar across its chest.
The only recent news they had about an imposter was the Lawrence outcast running one through.
Now they'll have to find some way to replicate your scar and keep up the ruse.
"The original has truly descended, then... fine." They hiss, words venomous, glaring at the face of the statue. "If I can't have this place as my playground, then they won't get to have you."
---
The next time you wake, it is night, and the hunger in your belly is gnawing at you with such fervor that you feel lightheaded.
When you stand, your head twinges with pain as if to protest even this miniscule expenditure of energy.
Your body stumbles at first, briefly overcome by vertigo, but quickly adjusts.
Your mind changes its tune completely upon seeing a plump, ripe Sunsettia growing on its branch.
You desperately scramble over to pull the Sunsettia from the tree- only for it to drop into your waiting hands as soon as you reach up.
The 'how' of this doesn't quite matter to you in the moment. You bite into the ripe fruit and moan in bliss at the tart taste of the flesh and the sweetness of the juices. Within twenty seconds, you've reduced this fruit to a nubby pit, almost like a peach has.
That's kinda neat, actually. You distantly wonder what you have to crossbreed with a peach to make Sunsettias.
You pat the tree as if to thank it, not noticing that it suddenly stands a bit straighter or how its leaves are just a tiny bit greener, and go to find a nice place to put down this future Sunsettia tree.
You eventually get bored of looking for a good place and just poke a hole into the ground with a fallen branch, then stuff the remains of your first Sunsettia into the hole.
You wander off into the woods in hopes of finding a road, unaware of the golden-leaved sapling slowly growing behind you.
With a new source of energy in your system, you feel the urge to get moving- might as well make the most of this while you have it.
Your stamina is better than before, it feels like. Distances that previously felt difficult feel easier on your legs- and definitely on your lungs.
Perhaps this has something to do with your demise?
...what's that weird whistling soun-
You fall, dead, an Anemo-enriched arrow punching through the back of your head.
For a brief moment, you dream of a place deep beneath the surface of Teyvat, and a ruined statue oozing corruption into infinite darkness.
You wake with a small headache, very hungry, and more than a little pissed. Won't people just leave you the fuck alone?
Somehow, you feel sturdier. Less breakable. As nice as that is, you don't particularly feel up to testing it.
You stand.
Perhaps you should avoid civilization from now on.
