“I don’t want to hear it (Y/N),” Rewind told you, having allowed you into his hab-suite.

It felt almost wrong to see him without Chromedome, but after his stint trying to use mnemosurgery on Swerve, Chromedome had been banished from Rewind’s life and was being forced to stay with Tailgate and Cyclonus. Personally, you didn’t think staying with a couple would help him, but Tailgate was kind-hearted and Cyclonus was a good listener, so maybe it was for the best.

“I know, but I mean, Chromedome didn’t actually commit mnemosurgery, so that’s something, right?” You pandered, hoping that Rewind would forgive his partner and that they would be able to patch things up.

“That’s not the point. He intended to do it, and he would have if Rung hadn’t stopped him.”

“But-”

“No! It isn’t like Chromedome considered mnemosurgery and talked himself out of it. He had to be stopped. He can’t keep using other bots to justify his addiction. It isn’t fair. He can’t keep lying to me like this.”

“I get it, Rewind. I just think that maybe you can’t leave Chromedome in the lurch forever. He loves you so much and-”

“STOP IT!” Rewind shouted. “JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN’T FIX YOUR RELATIONSHIP DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN MEDDLE IN MINE!”

You blinked rapidly, taken aback by the insult to your virtually non-existant marriage. Coolant sprung to your optics, though you tried hard not to cry.

“Y-yeah, okay. You’re right,” You said, getting up to leave.

Rewind lifted his arm, “(Y/N), wait. I didn’t mean that.” You shook your head, “It’s fine. I’ll- I’ll see you later, Rewind. Bye.”

Scourge, legimately pausing for a second: shit <- realized he's gotten attached

Then he turns around, points the gun at his fellow cons, they both demand why, he just motions to Y/N and then Nightbird and Battlerap look at eachother, nod, and just yell at the lady at the console to "hurry it up" and BAM they start to kill Unicorns helpers

I figure it'd make for a cool scene if we could see Scourge fight for control over his own body though like, listen

The light in him flickers bright and true, like a flame of a great pyre that'd be sure to burn till the days end, the weight of his internal battle forces him to the ground as he lets out a horrific screech, one that nearly deafens everyone around him. The metal of his chest glows in an orange hue, as if melting iron in a furnace, chains of electricity bending and twisting as he struggles for control over his own body, forcing every single drop of Unicorns filth out of his spark, something dark, something... angry spilling from the chamber that held his very being. It could not talk, it could not move, it could simply exist, yet it made them feel little but disgust and fear. Something about the bright orange, flicking right put a sense of doom into them, as if something was chasing them, hunting them, like a predator preparing to strike just as the hunter turns their back. Something was in that flickring flame. Something that wanted them dead, dead, dead, dead.

But, he could sense it too. He sensed the fear, the panic the terror, something so deep he'd never felt it before, not from them, not even when he'd taken them. This, this was something else entirely. Even after being abducted by something so much larger, they hadn't felt fear like this before, and he never wanted them to feel it ever again.

Now he burned brightly, a gentle hue of red eminating from his chest, something gentler, yet somehow just as violent.

"Taint me no longer"

How he could grap that vile thing, they weren't sure of, but nonetheless the feeling left with the flick of his wrist, sending the orange light back to it's owner.

"Close it"

He was like a man on a mission, by all means he should be the predator, the jaguar that sinks it's teeth into the unsuspecting ant eater, yet they felt not fear as he reached them, felt nothing but relief when he reached to take them in his hands, filled with joy when he transformed into a car, speeding away from the portal as fast as he could.

In short, human cute, he fucking spits Unicorn out of him, life happy
