Swerve X Reader - Changes Chapter 11 Preview
“I don’t want to hear it (Y/N),” Rewind told you, having allowed you into his hab-suite.
It felt almost wrong to see him without Chromedome, but after his stint trying to use mnemosurgery on Swerve, Chromedome had been banished from Rewind’s life and was being forced to stay with Tailgate and Cyclonus. Personally, you didn’t think staying with a couple would help him, but Tailgate was kind-hearted and Cyclonus was a good listener, so maybe it was for the best.
“I know, but I mean, Chromedome didn’t actually commit mnemosurgery, so that’s something, right?” You pandered, hoping that Rewind would forgive his partner and that they would be able to patch things up.
“That’s not the point. He intended to do it, and he would have if Rung hadn’t stopped him.”
“But-”
“No! It isn’t like Chromedome considered mnemosurgery and talked himself out of it. He had to be stopped. He can’t keep using other bots to justify his addiction. It isn’t fair. He can’t keep lying to me like this.”
“I get it, Rewind. I just think that maybe you can’t leave Chromedome in the lurch forever. He loves you so much and-”
“STOP IT!” Rewind shouted. “JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN’T FIX YOUR RELATIONSHIP DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN MEDDLE IN MINE!”
You blinked rapidly, taken aback by the insult to your virtually non-existant marriage. Coolant sprung to your optics, though you tried hard not to cry.
“Y-yeah, okay. You’re right,” You said, getting up to leave.
Rewind lifted his arm, “(Y/N), wait. I didn’t mean that.” You shook your head, “It’s fine. I’ll- I’ll see you later, Rewind. Bye.”

Something big just happened in my life too and it’s going to include having to go to court to get it settled. Charles’ optimistic view on the future is exactly how I am feeling right now. Nothing can stop us from living happily and healthily. We will get through it!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Those little changes
I really hate it when I notice that something had changed, even how little they are. From the way you look at me, from the way you talk to me or from the way you smile that is not as goofy as before. Like we're back at square one, the indifference stage.
The way you look at me like we didn't have memories of the good old times we're laughing our asses off. The way you talk to me like you don't know how to start a conversation with me,when supposedly I'm the one who's always starting a conversation and we end up chatting with each other,jumping from one topic to another like we have our own little bubble. The way you smile is a smile you give to a stranger. It's not the smile you give me to me every time our eyes met. The smile that will make me smile or laugh because of how silly and cute you are when you're smiling.
But you know what I really hate? The wall that you're building, maybe because we know that soon we wil part ways, so you're distancing yourself to me. Can you not worry about that and treasure the time we have to create another wonderful memories to look back when we're apart from each other?
Can we just cross the bridge when we get there, cause I'm also afraid of the things that may happen but I'm most afraid that these changes will go on as we part ways.
I don't want to see you looking at me with those eyes and smile with your lips and talk to me with your mouth like I'm just a stranger with a lot of memories.

I only joined Tumblr in 2021 cuz most other platforms were becoming way too unpractical and unlikeable to use. Istg if Tumblr joins literally almost every other website by removing reblog chains than I will MUTINY
Tumblr reblog chains are in danger.
It seems that the staff is actually going to go forward with their decision to remove reblog chains, where reblogs will basically work like regular comments on other websites.
This doesn't just make the site completely unusable, it removes the soul of the community that has managed to build up here over the years, and that I'm so happy to have recently joined.
It makes impossible the creation of great posts where many people build up a single thing, until it is a gem of expressed human creativity.
There will be no more world heritage posts, no more messing around with your mutuals, no posts worth remembering.
There will be no more Tumblr, and the Tikblr or TumbTube or whatever monstrosity is born from its corpse will soon die, as is probably the best. And then there will never be another place like this on the internet, no place anymore to run to, no more fun, no more community.
I recommend a simple course of action. When these changes get imposed upon us, stop using Tumblr. Get your mutuals' discords, your favourite artists' websites, and leave. If the Tumblr we have once known returns, we well too. If not, better let it die quickly than suffer a long and painful decline.
I beg you to reblog this, for the more people see it, the higher chanses are for this to work.
And add something, so we can show them what Tumblr is really for.
