Leo: No, that was not the most bewildering part of what you just said

Jason: You held up the sky??? The literal sky???

Percy: Annabeth and I did, yeah. Luke, too, but not when we fought Atlas.

Leo: bro.

Have yet to process that my sister is getting married to a dictator that Castor tried to murder and I found this out due to my brother being the sweetest person on the face of the planet and not holding it against me much that I absolutely abandoned him…..this is about dnd by the way. Doctor Who: Redacted

As a massive Doctor Who fan who constantly wants everyone to join the Doctor Who fandom, may I recommend Doctor Who: Redacted to literally anyone who wants to listen to some fun science fiction. The concept is a 3 women who met at college made a podcast about a mysterious Blue Box that has become a bit of a conspiracy theory. It’s incredibly queer, with the lead characters being a trans woman and two black queer women who have a bit of a will-they-won’t-they relationship going on. I’s so incredibly fun, with moments that had me punching my fists in the air and doing a little dance. Very little knowledge about Doctor Who is needed but there are so many fun easter eggs if you do know. It’s some of the best content this series has produced in a while and all of it is currently available for free. anyway, today i’m thinking about nemesis, someone who has been titled as a mercenary [big deal. means people know you. you’ve lasted this long in the business without disappearing, dying, or quitting.] who makes taverns across ehas erupt into whispers where she enters because of the weight of the names she’s been given [the horseman. the watchdog of the raven queen.] whose party is on shaky grounds with her, just beginning to trust and open up to her and her to them [the disdain. the intimidation. the not knowing how to get her attention without just staring for fear of crossing a line she doesn’t even know exists between them.] and then the party walks into the roost, and from nowhere in a blur this gangly shorter-than-average sunburnt box dye ginger elf in a collared shirt with the sleeves cut off is in her space. someone in the watchdog’s space. someone in nemesis’ space. hugging her. near tackling her. and he calls her, the one with this shroud built up around her by years of misfortune and misplaced suspicion: nem, excitedly, grinning and elated at the fact that she has people with her, that she’s not alone, practically dragging her to the back table to meet his crew. thinking about the cracks in the facade oz, her younger brother, who she loves and softens around and lets shorten her name and lead her around, creates by calling that out to her aloud for the first time in four years – both for herself and everyone around her.
