Literallyyyy like what do you MEAN people are throwing fits over "you can't ship that it's not canon!" Canon is for quitters. Canon is optional. It's at best a vague suggestion. And it's just not as much fun.

Broooo I found a zuko/katara fanfic like a couple years ago where it was a canon divergence and they had a kid together before zuko betrayed them and went back to the fire nation and the fic starts from there and I haven't been able to find it since.
