I’m personally hoping that Orange will be a straight up dark side, like Remus and Deceit, while Pink will be a light side turned dark side, to juxtapose Virgil!

I know the color theory is mostly a joke at this point, but I like how so far all the sides have their signature color on the color wheel.

Of course, this implies that in the future there will be only two more sides: Pink and Orange. I can’t help but wonder what they’ll be… Dark Sides? Neutral? Light Sides that have developed from Thomas because of recent events? Who knows! At any rate, I love this, I love the new video, and I’m excited to see if my color wheel idea comes true…

Okay but about that gem Peridot bubbled but was never brought up again...

I just came up with a new headcanon/au for it so here we go!

I propose: 

After leaving Earth with the barn, Lapis bubbled some of their more valuable stuff while she was heading into space. Including the gem Peridot had bubbled, which she stared at longingly/apologetically at before putting a bubble around the one Peridot had already made. Double bubble means double protection! Which means it was hopefully not shattered to bits when Lapis threw the barn at Blue Diamond.

Or, if you want to ensure the little gem’s safety. When Lapis bubbled most of the stuff, it stayed where she was at because she considered the barn home at the time. Except for the gem, which was sent back to Earth were Peridot (and her actual home) was, because she was actually thinking of her when she bubbled it. 

If it was sent back to Peridot, then maybe she showed it to the others, wondering if she could put it somewhere a bit safer than the bathroom she was staying in at the time. (Plus she didn’t want the color of the second layer bubble to be yet another reminder of Lapis and the fact that she left, but she didn’t want to tell the crystal gems that just yet. It’s probably one of the things she opened up to them about while they started training her.) And thus they put it in the burning room with the other bubbled corrupted gems! 

Okay but-

As soon as I saw this happen when I watched this episode I immediately headcanoned that this very Dakota, the one that hugs Cavendish, Is the FIRST.

The first one to have almost seen him die, the first one to have been replaced by the ‘new’ time traveling Dakota that appeared, and the first one to have been sent to the Island of Dakotas. 

Meaning he’s been without/away from Cavendish the longest. Of course he’s going to walk straight up to him and give him a hug then. And of course the other Dakotas are going to smile at that, at this powerful hug, because they know.

Are we not going to talk about the fact that Logan almost said Paranoid or Paranoia, and then glanced at Virgil and stopped.

Logan said Falsehood to keep Deceit at bay, and Figuratively to keep Remus at bay.

Which means that he said Paranoid or Paranoia to keep Virgil at bay when Virgil was a dark side.
