I couldn’t find the og post so I had to yoink this off reddit, but: 

IT’S A THING™ AND THIS POST NAILS IT

This was supposed to just be a stupid idea but it became so much more. Pain Restaurant AU.

I was on the phone with @sabrisun and when I had said chain restaurant she thought I said pain restaurant and then we joked about how lapis and Keith would own a pain restaurant. Then we started to elaborate on it. It turned into this crossover between the Waiter!AU and like fight club.

Keith, a college dropout, and Lapis, an art student, are both having a bad day and go to the same bar in which they get in a bar fight. They both get thrown out and then complain how they just needed to blow off some steam. They go and open a “Pain Restaurant™” in which patrons can order food as well as have organized brawls. And if disrespect is shown to the staff, they’re allowed to hit you.

“The food’s great but the waiter decks you if you put your feet on the table.” Oh did I mention this joint is illegal yeah.

Peridot who is roommates with Jasper goes there to let out her anger concerning Jasper, telling her friend Pidge who’s in her astronomy class about Pain Restaurant™ who has been stressed recently about her brother going to another college. Pidge drags Hunk and Lance along and Lance begins flirting with Keith who is utterly confused, disturbed, and heavily pining.

Regarding Lapis and Peridot they bond over just having a shit show over Jasper. But Peridot only orders the food. “Why don’t you ever order pain just go to a normal resaurant.” “I live with Jasper.” “Ah.” Lapis and Jasper has had a sketchy relationship ever since they got in a fight at the Pain Restaurant™ and tried to drown each other in the beer trough.

Shirt and Allura are both police but still are patrons at Pain Resaurant™ and Shiro doesn’t fight anybody but like reigns Allure back in when she gets a little out of hand.

We don’t own the characters.

We came up with the AU.

Basically what happened

Have you ever had a show where almost every character is a comfort character? If you haven’t, watch Steven Universe.

Katara vs. Lapis Lazuli. Who Would Win?

I’ve been wanting to do some versus posts between characters from different fandoms. The characters I choose have similar powers to make things interesting. 

Although Katara is an extremely strong waterbender, I don’t think she would win.

Her control in water is smooth and strong, but Lapis is able to control the entire ocean as seen in season 1. Lapis also has wings that can take her as far as space. It’s possible Katara can use her abilities to travel upwards, though she wouldn’t be able to make it to space. 

Also, Lapis doesn’t have regular human blood, so Katara can’t use bloodbending to get an advantage.

Winner: Lapis Lazuli

Snow blue

I found some interesting thing about Steven Univers Future, so I would share them with you 😁;

First, "Snow day" is the first episode where Steven is already 17 year old

Garnet knowledge is effects her future vision, as Shappire said multiple times previously. However, it seemingly change if he forgot something (it not change the timelines, just the number of the possible futures what she sees)

Steven is now a vegetarian, and he was already for three month

Now we know fusions can shapeshift (ok, Garnet does it previeiously, but her relationship is special, technically she is alredy one gem.…)

However we not see fusions' real forms, but we know at least one thing; Sugilite's shade now covers all of her eyes

One of the most oblivious but most surpriseing thing: Garnet wanted to win this game so badly to unfused just because of it

So, in "Why so blue" we get to know Lapises made to destroy planets, call it Terraforming (it's funny, because Terra is actually Earth, but they are aliens......)

Took the conclusion, on other planets were oceans or great amount of water what they could use (or at least on those where the life already appeared. It's logical, because -in short- only water can protect the very simple life forms when a planet is forming)

They also can control mud

Lapises not creates wings from their gemstones, they store somewhere in their body. Or maybe creates water from their gemstones as other gems store their weapons there, but in that chase they wings' place not effected by their stones' positsion

They don't need for their wings to fly, just to control it

After that episode, I'm sure Lapises based on anime characters:

Just look at their apperace

They usually very dramatic, behave excessively; sometimes childish and silly, other times serious, drastic, sometimes even revengeful

They form the water as a kind of energy, using for destroy, manifest weapons. And they can learn each other's teachniques ridiculously fast and easily

Lapises don't take serious nobody until he/she showes his/her true power, but after that they honor or fear it

*Now I really need Pearl and Lapis to talk one on one. They both show forms of PTSD(I think? Correct me if I’m wrong please. Perhaps a better term would just be trauma or?) and bottling up their problems only to have them explode later on. But also, Lapis tends to solve every problem by running away(until recently-you go girl). You know who else did that? Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond. Pearl has seen the fallout of someone who runs away constantly and after finally revealing some of the secrets she's been forced to keep might now be able to admit that that is never the way to solve your problems. Also, Pearl was still trapped as a servant to her Diamond this whole time- something Lapis, being trapped in the mirror and a fusion, would most likely be the best one to point this out to her. Their conversations, if handled well, could be phenomenal.

*Jasper and Bismuth would be a good pair to talk one on one aswell. They both were wanting to shatter someone who was actually who they were serving. And who they held in the highest esteem was lying to them the whole time. Bismuth wanted to shatter PD for RQ, Jasper wanted to shatter RQ for PD, but they were the same person the whole time. They went through the exact same thing, just through the opposite perspective.

*Garnet having to break the news to the Off Colors after telling them the story she thought was true for so long...would be heart-wrenching. Would  the Off Colors still want to come to Earth after all that? Or would they run off in the opposite direction as soon as Lars makes it back home?

Okay but about that gem Peridot bubbled but was never brought up again...

I just came up with a new headcanon/au for it so here we go!

I propose: 

After leaving Earth with the barn, Lapis bubbled some of their more valuable stuff while she was heading into space. Including the gem Peridot had bubbled, which she stared at longingly/apologetically at before putting a bubble around the one Peridot had already made. Double bubble means double protection! Which means it was hopefully not shattered to bits when Lapis threw the barn at Blue Diamond.

Or, if you want to ensure the little gem’s safety. When Lapis bubbled most of the stuff, it stayed where she was at because she considered the barn home at the time. Except for the gem, which was sent back to Earth were Peridot (and her actual home) was, because she was actually thinking of her when she bubbled it. 

If it was sent back to Peridot, then maybe she showed it to the others, wondering if she could put it somewhere a bit safer than the bathroom she was staying in at the time. (Plus she didn’t want the color of the second layer bubble to be yet another reminder of Lapis and the fact that she left, but she didn’t want to tell the crystal gems that just yet. It’s probably one of the things she opened up to them about while they started training her.) And thus they put it in the burning room with the other bubbled corrupted gems! 

Another Steven Universe character that has a lot of parallels with The Collector from The Owl House is actually Lapis Lazuli!

Both were sent to a new world by their superiors for what was supposed to be a fun and/or relaxing time.

But instead both got caught in the middle of a war between two powerful factions that they never signed up for.

Both were confused/mistaken as the enemy by those who they wanted to be their allies. And was consequently trapped away in an object.

Lapis was then found and used as a tool for the Crystal Gems. While The Collector was found and used as a stepping stone for his plans by Belos/Philip.

But then finally they were found by someone younger, a little kid who would eventually become their first ever real friend.

And that friend broke them free from the object with powerful force. Freeing them at last and destroying the object in the process.

Some days ago i did this tweet about how The Collector from TOH is similar with both Pink Diamond and Spinel….

Because i saw people saying they are like Spinel or like Pink Diamond (kinda,  before WaD aired) but honestly they are munch like a mix of both….

For Collector and Pink Diamond, it’s because they are the more small/younger member of the group they were (The Diamond Authority and the Archivists) and not wanting to follow them in they ways (Playing instead of following the Collectors motto in FtF / Wanting his own colony and after changing his mind while discovering life).

And for Spinel and Collector: They were later tricked into something in which they were left alone (or trapped) for thousand years before meeting people who love them (in the case of The Collector, it’s after Belos found him, and with his backstory in WaD) …

…

I’m not sure if i explained this well, but i hope it’s understandable…
