fat bodies, fat anatomy, and how body fat tends to work should be taught as standardly as skinny anatomy and how muscles work in art courses. fat bodies are not an outlier. fat bodies are not a minority and theyre not abnormal or wrong. fat bodies are normal and they belong in art teaching spaces as commonly as other anatomy, because fat bodies ARE normal anatomy. people have diverse bodies and there will never be a single body type that encompasses the "normal body type"

tldr; fat anatomy should be taught as a staple in art courses just like any other anatomy. this is fact <3

Here are a few extra tidbits/ updates!

-The ‘one too many scandal’ refers to the vice WHIP of the Conservative Party, Chris Pincher, being a known sexual assaulter with several claims against him with the met police. Despite Boris Johnson knowing about this, Pincher was both allowed to keep his job and even promoted.

- The Pincher scandal has now revealed even more about Parliamentary protocol and behaviour. A Channel 4 quick poll suggested that 70% of workers in Parliament (including civil servants, MPs) have experienced or known someone who’s experienced workplace harassment or abuse. Beyond that, 80% of people would feel their job woul be at risk should they report any misconduct.

- This was summarized by Tulip Siddiq, Labour MP, in a meeting where she spoke about how she has experienced racist abuse and misogyny, but the lack of an objective HR means any complaints will end up being made to the offender’s ‘best mate’ with very few results.

- Pincher resigned himself last Friday- after news broke over him making unwanted advances towards two men (other MPs?) at a party. Boris proceeded to LIE and say he had never known about any complaints. On Tuesday- he was forced to release a statement saying he did know about it but ‘hadn’t had enough time to properly think about it.’

- This was completely overshadowed by the resignations of Rishi Sunak (the Chancellor) and Sajid Javid (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care) who basically pointed out that no government could function when it can’t control itself

- Junior minsters begin to resign all over Parliament- which in the past was never as much of a political issue compared to a frontbencher- but the numbers are so high that there is quite literally no one to replace them (there is not one minister for education left- and this is a few days after they announced massive- and terrible- cost saving changes to nursery education)

- Also- the shocking part about Michael Gove was he had actually pledged to remain a part of cabinet and had no intention of resigning- but was urging Boris to leave gracefully. Which has not happened...

- And finally as of Thursday morning, Boris has pledged to resign and be gone by Autumn, with a leadership election to occur by summer recess.

(although that’s not necessarily a commitment he will stick to, it doesn’t look like we will have a functioning executive in the mean time, so either he goes or the Conservative party does. Whiiich they might do anyway HAHAHA)

For my non uk followers wondering wtf is going on:

- prime minister is a cunt. Had like a bajillion scandals

- latest one was apparently one two many. Two extremely important cabinet members resigned within minutes of each other

- within the next 24 hours about a third of the government resigned

- one resigned live on tv. Five resigned with the same letter to save time

- previous record for government resignations within 24 hours was 6 and it it was in the 1930s. We are, as I’m writing this, on 45 resignations

- Michael Gove, another cunt who is hated by all, was going to resign but was sacked instead in what appears to be the prime minister going “you can’t quit you’re fired!”

- government meetings are being cancelled because there is literally nobody in those departments anymore

- despite literally everyone begging him at this point to leave, including his most loyal little evil henchman, prime minister is refusing to resign in disgrace as is traditional for British prime ministers

- prime minister genuinely seems to be in complete denial anything serious is happening

- people are calling for Larry the Cat, no. 10’s chief mouser to be the next prime minister. When asked for comment, he licked his arse on live television
