' He Would Be Questioned About His Ageand It Certainly Wouldn't Have Been The Last Either. He Probably

β§βΛ β κ°ΰ§§ α― βγ €ΛΛΛγ €π°π ππππ'π πππ πππππ ππππ he would be questioned about his ageγ €βγ €and it certainly wouldn't have been the last either. He probably WAS a little too young to be working in customer service. At least he CLEARLY didn't mind it as he continues to attempt to help the guest with a smile.

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €Maybe I am, but it's OKAY ! I get to talk to NICE GUESTS like you when I'm not busy and hear all about their travels ! I can save up to explore the stars like the guests too !γ €β
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €With his attempt to reassure the guest, he motions for the other to FOLLOW him.
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €The front desk is THIS way ! Hopefully your friend is still there !γ €β

Last time he was told to meet somewhere, he was ghosted, same with the instance before that. Next time this happens, he's ought to stop trying. It's not like they wouldn't meet again at the headquarters. Probably.
Looking down at the kid, he realized his error-- he did not mean to get so visibly upset. He offers him a little smile, "yeah, that'd be nice of ya."
Then, gives the kid a good once-over. "Wait, aren't you a little too young to be... working? At all?"

It was 0% his business, it was more or less a curiosity on his part. Are there no regulations about this? Who is making this child work? Then again, he did not know a single thing about the laws on this planet.

The Bellboy was ALWAYS polite and kind to everyone he had met; no matter who or what they were. Butγ €βγ €maybe it was those Watchmaker instincts; but he had a BAD feeling about this man. Could such a seemingly benevolent person really be the one trying to bring about THE ORDER unto Penacony ?
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €If that were the case too, it meant that SOMEHOW Gallagher and Sleepie hadn't been able to stop him. And THAT meant he would have to warn the Nameless he had invited to the Charmony festival. He had to worm his way out of THIS first though. Hopefully he was as cool and charming as his Grandpa had been.
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €Well, that's OKAY ! If Miss Robin prefers to think of me as an ordinary bellboy, I'm fine with that ! Whether I'm just a bellboy or the Watchmaker, I'll do my best to make Miss Robin and the other Dreamchasers of Penacony HAPPY ! γ €β

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €γ €βγ €Speaking of though, I MIGHT need to tend to some guests soon ! I - I hope you don't mind that, Mister Sunday !γ €β

He knew his sister had only told him, as she was unaware of the alter motives he had in finding the Watchmaker's Legacy, but now with the cat out of the bag like this, he had to wonder if the search had truly been worth it. Why had this child installed such fear in the other members? Surely, if this was all, then they had nothing to fear. They could go ahead with the festival and bring about the blessed future they'd been working this hard for. Yet, there was still that slight touch of doubt that refused to entirely fade. His sister's influence, perhaps.

"If I'm honest, I do not believe she quite understands your significance. It was quite a surprise to find out the truth...but also I am quite delighted to finally get to meet you in person like this. Truly, a blessing from Xipe".

He had the misfortune of encountering MANY adults in his lifeγ €βγ €and out of all of them; only one of them had been kind to him up until this point. But he didn't want to complicate the matter of bringing his FATHER back to life even further. He had even been been reluctant to bring Mademoiselle Domi into it. It had just been the best idea at the timeγ €βγ €well, until it turned out that it wasn't.
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €He wasn't used to an adult being THIS concerned over his well - being. Now, he actually had to think. There was no way he could just bring this woman to his actual ' home ' and think she would ACCEPT IT. There was another thing he could do; take her to where his ' caretaker ' lived. He didn't LIKE the idea nor did he like his ' caretaker 'γ €βγ €but in the very least, he knew that the man was REASONABLE enough to play along and let the woman on her way. The ComtΓ© probably wasn't going to be too happy with HIM though.

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €It's a LITTLE far ! I actually rode my dog, EtoilΓ© here ! I probably could have walked it on my own, but I get TIRED OUT easily ! She can take me back if you're that worried, Mademoiselle ! γ €β
ΛΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €He had a feeling she wouldn't take THAT either.

"Well, it's good you have someone that is supposed to be looking out for you, but I still wouldn't feel right letting you to wander back home on your own. That would make me irresponsible." Charlotte taps her chin in thought, tilting her head a bit. It wouldn't be too hard for her to escort him home and get back to the cafe without losing much time. Still, she wanted to make sure he was okay with her offering it since she was a stranger to him.
Deciding to be cautious was the best approach, and so she settled to lead into the offer after one or two questions. All this would depend on his answers of course, but she was ready to counter most excuses if she was given any. She was also ready to just safely shadow him if he lived nearby enough with one of her butterflies.

"My cafe isn't really on the more popular main thoroughfare, so I would at least like to know how far you'd be walking. Do you live close to here or far? If you live more than I few blocks I'd rather offer to escort you back." All it would take is one unlucky instance that would break any safety of his previous times going about the area himself. That was the burning worry that had her bothering to offer, alongside a desire to size up just who was in charge of this young boy.
She had a certain instinctual feeling that the boy was maybe lacking proper care. A feeling she really didn't want to overlook.

β§βΛ β κ°ΰ§§ α― βγ €ΛΛΛγ €Once youβre stripped clean , whatβs at your core ?

flightless bird
the thought of your found family is what motivates you in your own little world. you touch the clouds, and the soil gives way under your footprints... this is utopia. if you were to erase one thing, it would be your memory. experience is important, but ignorance is bliss. identity, in heaven, should give way to happiness. you'd give anything just to sit by the swings and eat ice cream, but this isn't that kind of world. you have to get up and wash the dirt off of your scraped knees. i think you have an escapism problem.

resounding truth
you have a goal in mind, and others brush it off right away... why does everyone always tell you to follow your dreams when it's actually their dreams that they want you to follow? your memory is weak, and your conviction is even weaker on days when you're reminded of how alone you really are. it's hard to go on without someone pushing you forward... is this what life is? a cycle of monotony, fueled only by the desire not to trouble anyone too much with your passing? it would be nice to have something, or someone, to spur you on. i hope you find them.

cauterizing rage
the house has burned around you, and youβre the only one left standing. is it gratifying to be the survivor? fear and anger are weapons in your capable hands, used only to serve your agenda of fighting back when deemed necessary. you're a powerful person, built from the ashes of your despair and your family's mistakes. with time, you'll bloom into someone softer, like the full blossoms that grow each spring and wither away with the leaves in fall. they won't disappear if you take your eyes off of them. you're enough.
