letting a character be flawed ≠ never critiquing their actions, you can do both, but i get what you mean too

angel probably wasn’t all that receptive to david being genuinely mad because that’s just been their dynamic from that stage - he’s kinda grumpy/shut off, they annoy him affectionately, it might’ve been hard to differentiate at times (also they reek of the tism /j…maybe /hj)

Ya'll know how jarring it was to enter the Tumblr space and see people drag his name? Having people refer to David confronting Angel for the weird ass sneaking around and say he was yelling. YELLING??? The man had a tone switch, but not once in that audio did he actually yell.

Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm the problem. I don't see the dude as mean. "Bullying" as in mild name calling and calling a person out on their shit isn't mean.

Maybe David just isn't for you. That's fine. Leave the tired grubling guy to the rest of us. There's like 30 other characters to obsess over. I easily become complacent. David's approach to Angel is the kind of kick start that works for me.

Y'ever think about how Darlin pulling away from the pack and falling in with "unsavory" crowds was due to RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria) exacerbating abandonment issues because all the people they cared about in the pack were slowly pulling away due to Gabe's death and finding love in (mostly) the aftermath (Milo and Sweetheart being the only relationship to pre-date Gabe's passing)
