“Iight she’s down.” Erik sighed walking into your bedroom. Immediately you grabbed the sheets off the bed wrapped it around your body. He rose his eyebrow at you. “Whatchu..hiding under there?“ 

He sat on the edge of the bed. "Im not done lotioning can you um..turn around?” You said. “Girl what? Why? Did you forget that we made that lil girl in there? You forget how we made her?” He asked, eyeing your body. “Yeah well..I dont look like I did before.” “So..” he tugged on the sheet and you tugged back. “Erik seriously.” He sighed. 

“Hand me the lotion baby.” he held his hand out. You handed him the bottle, not wanting to fight. He pulled on the sheet, pulling you closer to him, you let your body go. He tugged the sheet away from you and you closed your eyes. “Baby..come on.” He whispered, you kept your eyes closed and heard him sigh. You felt lotion being spread over your calf. 

You opened your eyes slowly to see Erik on his knees,  gently smoothing lotion over your thigh now, placing soft kisses as he did. He massaged the substance into your skin with a slow hand. “Baby… aint nothin wrong with ya body.” He said into your skin, sitting up a little taller to get to your stomach. Immediately you put both hands over it. 

There was a bit of extra skin there, and some stretch marks you didnt have a year ago that you hated looking at. He pulled your hands away from your belly and pumped some lotion into his palm. “You had my whole big headed child in there babygirl..its gon’ change.” He whispered, rubbing into your skin. You couldnt stand the way the skin on your belly moved with his hand, wasn’t something you were used to.

 He kissed the extra skin a couple times. You felt tears stinging your eyes, so you closed them. “Baby look at me.” You shook your head and pulled away from him. He stood up and he turned you around to face the mirror. “Open your eyes..please princess." 

You opened your eyes. He stood behind you, both arms wrapped around your torso, hands resting on your belly. "Thank you. For taking care of that lil girl for nine whole months..nine entire months..thank you for eating for her, and keeping her warm and safe and shit. I appreciate you-” “Erik..” Tears fell from your eyes and he hushed you.

 "Im talkin to ya belly ma'am..please. shh.“ You giggled a little bit, putting your hands over his. "I love you..and I love ya belly no matter what state its in iight? You aint gotta love it right now, but you gotta let me do that. So dont hide it from me.” He kissed the side of your neck. “iight?” he took one hand to wipe a stray tear from your cheek. “Yeah..okay.”
