 Does Techno canonically fear DreamXD now?

ACTUALLY BAD

I know [c]Techno said he doesn’t really trust Ranboo... but holy fuck he’s acting like an older sibling who’s bonding with a new sibling and I love it!

Thinking about how right Niki and Jack were as they said "We can operate in bright daylight and still be operating from the shadows". Like Niki walked around the battlefield leaving tnt and fire in her footsteps meanwhile Jack is being the worst liar as he takes breaks in conversation for evil monologues.

Like they've come to the realisation that they can basically get away with anything and that is way too powerful

- final fight for the discs is tomorrow

- cc tommy spent the entirety of his stream today hinting his character was going to die

- jack manifold and niki have both started plotlines involving tommy's character which would go unresolved if he died

- c!dream doesn't want to kill c!tommy

- one way or another, the disc war plotline will be tied up and over with after this fight, meaning that for whatever reason, the discs won't be a source of power anymore

- the 'your discs' compass leads to an unknown location that could give dream an advantage, and he may have allies in punz (mercenary) and ranboo (in his 'unaware' state)

- alternatively, since the disc war was basically the last real win c!tommy and c!tubbo had with no strings attached, it would be narratively satisfying for them to win this fight as well

- cc tubbo seems uncomfortable with acting like c!tommy is dead

- the prison is finished

- the main problem with putting someone in the prison is that it will be hard for them to make content

- cc tommy wants to focus less on streaming which he can't do as the 'main character' of the rp

- several 'villain' arcs targeted towards his character are based on the fact that they don't think he gets real consequences

- without the discs / threat of killing him, c!dream will probably want another way to control c!tommy, especially if he loses the big fight

- cc tommy pointed out his character (and technoblade's) are the only two with no way of knowing about the prison

- on a meta level, c!tubbo has plot armour because cc tubbo makes a lot of his content on the smp and he's just begun the snowchester arc

- when sam built the prison to be inescapable, he was probably not considering nukes

conclusion: fear.

I appreciate you because you are one of the only people I see who appreciates the complexities of c!Phils character outside of "He's a shit dad, if you like him you support child abuse <3" He's got his own stuff going on, he's more than just a father. I also appreciate you because you talk about his hardcore lore which SLAPS. More people need to watch his hardcore series, it's great. Anyway, thanks, from one Phil enjoyer to another.

:D! Thank you so much Anon! I’m definitely not the ONLY person but part of the enjoyment of this particular media is the depth that all characters can have and also the power of personal interpretation yknow? 

I definitely think the “If your favourite character does A than you support A as well” argument for anything, especially in a series that is so grey morally is a very draining mindset to have (especially for a person putting that mindset on themselves it’s not a fun way to experience media) 

But at the same time if someone personally doesn’t like Phil’s character due to their interpretation of his actions that’s incredibly valid! and I personally think it really adds to the way the community individually experiences the story when there are those kind of differing views yknow? so long as like nobody is attacking others for those differing characterization views (that may be incomprehensible sorry I’m rambling lmao)

But yeah I’m a huge fan of the way Philza’s character functions and is portrayed especially since Phil isn’t actually that big into the rp aspect of the server (he just kinda tags along if his friends ask him to hop in lmao) But the way his characters actions and morals can be analyzed is just so fucking fascinating to me!

(Slipping this at the end that FUCK YEAH THE HARDCORE LORE IS COOL I’M TRYING TO LEARN MORE BUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH!)
