there’s a lot i want to say. a lot i feel like i need to say. to get it out. i feel so, so much right now, and it hurts. but my words fail me.

every time i’ve tried to talk about it with my partner, i’ve just cried. i’m devastated, and i’m angry. they shouldn’t have died. this never should have reached eleven months.

there’s a lot i need to say but if i start typing i won’t stop. so all i’ll say is: check on your jewish friends. i’m not very close with most of my mutuals, but if anyone, anyone needs to talk or just vent, my inbox is open.

Haven’t been posting much about the hostages because of how bad it’s been for my mental health. But in light of Hersh’s body being recovered, I thought I needed to say something. I’m heartbroken. He was so young, had a whole life ahead of him. I’m also very angry. At Hamas, for killing him obviously. But I’m furious at Netanyahu for not taking this crisis seriously. I mean, ffs, it’s been ten months!

an underrated detail in pride and prejudice is that elizabeth bennett was home alone on the day darcy proposed because she had a headache. can you imagine. this was in the pre-painkillers era. you're at home with a headache and then this asshole walks into the room and tells you he loves you and wants to marry you even though he hates your whole family and you're beneath him. imagine having to deal with that while also having a headache. she doesn't even have ibuprofen
