Do you think Marie chose to keep Henry because even back then she was forming her plan to come back to GC and take everyone out??? Do you think she was like “fuck I’m not ready to be a mom but boy it would sure be convenient to have someone to help me when I eventually take my revenge”

I mean to me her decision to keep Henry was influenced by

1) the lack of resources to the contrary

2) the belief that Henry is George’s legacy and the last link she has to him

3) her own cultural and personal beliefs if she happened to have any

4) she believed Henry was some divine gift to help her enact her murderous revenge plan

5) she was incredibly lonely and having him there helped ease her loneliness

Sorry that was so serious, to make up for it how about you think of Marie and Henry as little bats. Baby bat Henry clinging to his bat mama as she cuddles him with her big wings

A part of my new therapy fic is that Marie decides to abandon her murder plot in favor of coming forward with her own story and hoping for a change in attitudes from 20 years ago, and a part of that is calling up to the station to talk to Peggy and whatnot.

But I just imagined like the next morning Peggy meeting her and obviously being so happy she’s alive and meeting Henry and just being like “omg we have a baby in the family”

Like imagine Marie bringing Henry with her to meet up with Peggy and they hug and stuff but then Peggy is like “who is this?” And she’s like “this is Henry, your nephew” and Peggy is just like “OH MY GOODNESS YOURE SO BIG!!!” And gives him a big hug while Henry is giving his mom the “ma what do I do” side eye

Sorry I just had to say something real quick-

So I was admiring Her Royal Fluffiness’ class portrait but then I noticed something interesting

The kid next to her is named Keith Walker. Eugene’s mother’s maiden name was Kim(berly?) Walker. Theyre both KW.

Are they related? Are they twins? Fraternal twins can be male and female.

I will say, Keith does look like he has noticeably darker skin, though fraternal twins can vary widely in appearance just as much as regular siblings can. Perhaps they have some black ancestry and Kim is just very white passing. Or maybe their family is very white passing but Kieth got a lot of those genetics from some ancestor. I would say it’s a possibility they could also have indigenous ancestry but Keith’s hair seems more textured.

Genetics are weird. Or they could also be totally completely unrelated and just have the same name.

Anyway just something I wanted to point out

It’s possible his old house was demolished to make room for the new apartments. That would probably not excite Marie too much lol. Feel free to use as references!

One of my favorite things is that whole Wandavision quote about “what is grief but love persevering?” Because it implies the greater the love, the more grief you have, and it makes me think about Marie and George. Her love for him was so great that when it transformed into grief when he died, her grief was so strong and so unbearable to the point that it, combined with her lack of support and struggles, corrupted her and plunged her deep into madness.
