Barou got one of the harshest treatment from the fandom when there are other more redflag characters to exist in the franchise like Kaiser or Sae.

Barou got one of the most interesting backstory and character development in the franchise but it was ignored because he wasn't that handsome as per fandom's standards.

I'll take him over Nagi who is a lazy slob.

I’m really scared to see what is done with Kunigami ‘s character. It’s starting to look like he was brought back for nothing and that’s really frustrating to see as someone who really liked him. I would like to think that there are reasons behind him barely getting any screen time or never seeing his family or his perspective on anything now, but I also get the feeling Kaneshiro just wants us to forgot about him. He has so much potential that feels like it’s going to be completely wasted on more of Rin sticking his tongue out.
