life is full of bumps

i've learned a lot this year.. i learned that things don't always turn out the way you planned, or the way you think they should and i've learned that there are things that go wrong that don't always get fixed or get put back together the way they were before. i've learned that some broken things stay broken, and i've learned that you can get through bad times and keep looking for better ones, as long as you have people who love you.

life is to be lived. we're not guaranteed another minute. hold high expectations for yourself and acceptance for others. when frustrated, remember we all do the best we can in the moment. eat well. indulge cravings occasionally but view food as fuel more often. sleep enough. avoid alarm clocks when possible. rise with the sun sometimes. don't gossip or judge. respect all beings. support happiness and freedom. be thankful for small moments. take pride in work no matter how routine. invite criticism and use it to grow, but don't let it consume you. cultivate the wise judgement of age, but stay and young at heart. maintain a steady and joyful connection to the world. carve out time and space for reflection and nothingness. acknowledge then release fear. be open to love.
