so you found my dumpsterfire blog: a guide

I’m Jan, and I write things sometimes.

This is primarily a fandom blog, so I’ll rarely post about my original works or my personal life, but for the record, I’m an aspiring author with several novels in progress, and I also write poems and short stories on occasion. If I post about my original writing endeavors or my personal life, it’ll be tagged as #certified original jan thought.

I’m on AO3 as janthesevenette, where I post things about once a year lol

My current hyperfixation is Star Wars, where I have a lot of Thoughts and Emotions about Obi-Wan and Anakin and their relationship. They are dumbass brothers, and I love them.

I’ll also occasionally post about my other fandoms: the DSMP (mainly c!crimeboys) and Tolkien stuff (mainly the Fëanórian brothers). It’ll be tagged as #not star wars, if you’re just here for the Space Laser Fandom.

I’m here for a good time, so if I find you annoying or if your blog just doesn’t cater to my interests, there’s a good chance I’ll just block you. Also, don’t be a bigot, because that’s lame.

To that end, I tend to avoid fandom negativity, and though I’ll sometimes post about Real World issues (tagged under #real world shit), I’m not here to argue with people about fictional characters. I love posting meta, but my meta will tend to be very strictly about certain characters and their relationships, rather than about the fandom as a whole.

And with all that out of the way, I hope you all enjoy my insanity lol
