A fun fact but later performances of the original London production had spoken dialogue between the songs. It's the only production I know of that does this, and it's kind of funny that seemingly every other production of Cats made Ever didn't bother borrowing this element for themselves. But anyways here's Jack Rebaldi Munk during the transition from Old Deut to Pekes: 'Hurry! Make ready! Remember what I told you to do!'
