hhhh I need to do a formal ranking of my fave birds cos Lyrebird is *up there*. I get to glimpse them every now and then when I go out bush. closest encounter was outside camp after a hike at the Cathedral Ranges, but I'll most reliably come across one over Mallacoota/Genoa way visiting family. exceedingly cool creatures.

A tragedy
can we talk about tori's representation for a minute? like I know she's not the main focus of the show obviously but I was really disappointed about how her and Michael were treated as if less than weird teens. I was really looking forward to seeing her come out on the ferris wheel and they cut that. Im also upset that her mental health wasn't really shown. they had some real potential to show what's actually been going on with her. I don't know I just feel like they could have shown what it's like to be the glass sibling. as one myself we don't get that much rep, and I wanted to see what she was like at the start of charlies mental struggles and how her mental health was affected by it, causing her to get more and more depressed.
