In shadows cast by love's deceit,

A friendship's bond, so strong and sweet.

From childhood days, we laughed and played,

But destiny's twist, a price was paid.

As time unfurled its cruel design,

My heart, entangled, sought a sign.

In silence, longing held its sway,

Yearning for love's warm embrace to stay.

Yet fate, unkind, dealt its cruel blow,

Rejection's sting, a bitter woe.

I have always been attracted to the weirdest person in the room, the most unique. Individuality is and always has been something I look for in a potential person be it friend or partner.
