I was tempted to draw Malak pre-jaw loss to show this as why Revan decided he should lose his lower-half-of-his-face privileges.

And then when Maul comes back he has to get through Grandpa Count Dooku, and Anakin... Only to find the defense master has now mastered Form II under the surprisingly good tutelage of his fake sith master.
