Who is your favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Villain and Protagonist and why( you don’t have to answer the why)

favorite yugioh villain...this is so hard.. but lets say i love all the major duel monster villains SO much. theyre all super iconic, its kinda crazy... unfortunately i havent gotten super far into GX and for yugioh 5ds, the only one that comes to mind is kiryu/kalin? (definitely my favorite 5ds villain)

for duel monsters specifically i think my favorite is either marik or pegasus. marik because his backstory is so crazy sad, his design is so memorable, and the whole possession/mind control thing he had going on was just like the cherry on top. also hes the reason why yugi confessed to jounouchi during their duel (teehee).

pegasus is my other fav because of how ridiculous he is as a concept, like youre telling me this 25 year old gay man had a wife who died and he went completely bonkers over it , and made a childrens card game that was inspired by ancient egyptian hieroglyphs to cope? okay. and he likes CARTOONNSSS why is he me! also him kidnapping an elderly man, a toddler and his clinically deranged brother so that a 15 year old would be forced to duel him at said card game he created ? fucking bozo. LOVE HIM

contrary to human beliefs its actually the sirens who lure humans into their dark depths to feed, still the mers are the ones being blamed.

This made the humans start a mass hunt for the peaceful mers who once lived by the coral shallows before they had to flee into the depths were they instead ended up being killed by the sirens, who viewed the mers as competitors and nuisances to their territory.

Centuries later, the mers are hidden within small communities from both humans and sirens as they try go about their lives in peace.

However, a young and curious little mer named Yugi, wanted to venture out and explore beyond the safety borders.

Picking up shells of every color he had never seen before, oblivious to the danger he was in as he was being stalked before hearing a woosh of water surging towards him, turning around and dodging away just in time from the young inexperienced siren.

Yugi swiftly swam away with the siren following closely by.

This went on for hours with both of them somewhere throughout the chase, had been made it into game. As the siren finally managed to pounce Yugi to the seafloor, weighing him down as both of them stared into the eyes of the other, they both suddenly burst out laughing.

The young siren named Atem, became Yugi’s closest friend, in secret that is, and as they grew older their friendship evolved into a deep forbidden love that they had to keep secret from their own communities.

Being apart as time went on grew harder and harder for both of them.

But the consequences of their love, even if it meant exile and being hunted to the oceans end, was something both were prepared to face as their love only grew deeper.

They said it's "Maid Day" so I had to draw maid Yugis 😂😂 a few years back I also drew maid Kaiba so

Sea Fairy Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom as a Transformer . I did a mix of the of her 3 outfits.

So I was thinking on a Angel & Demon AU for rivalshipping, then I mixed their outfit designs with Deep Eyes and Gandora X and well this is the result.

Basically is Yugi the demon being a big fanboy of Kaiba's work to purge whole humanity to bring them to salvation. They're friend (somehow). Btw Yugi was previously an angel but Kaiba doesn't know that yet.

Don't expect this to be the last of this AU cos I still have a few designs to work (spoiler: Jonouchi and Atem)

Reverse AU 1/2

Yugi - the spirit of a boy who voluntarily sacrificed himself for the sake of his village several thousand years ago. at the time when the demons were strong, one of them attacked the Village of Yugi and the only way to stop him was to lock him in some object and put the soul of a person who voluntarily will endlessly restrain this demon on guard. Yugi agreed to this role for the sake of those close to him. he asked to sharpen him and the demon in his favorite wooden puzzle that no one else could assemble but him. later it was buried in an unknown place. it took so many years for the puzzle to be sorted out that both the demon and Yugi had time to fall asleep and forget who they were. later the puzzle was accidentally found in our time but could not be assembled because of what now it is gathering dust on a shelf in one small game store.

Atem is an ordinary boy from Egypt who recently lost his father. Due to the fact that he had no relatives in his home country, he had to move to Japan to his distant relative Kaiba Seto, who agreed to take custody of Atem. Atem was socially awkward even before his father's death, but after his death and the move, things got worse. he hardly speaks or communicates with anyone, finding solace only in games. Seto is not happy with this state of affairs and he sends Atem to school so that at the same time he tightens up his Japanese language and does not sink into depression while sitting at home. Atem does not like school because it is a constant stress, he does not know how to communicate (and does not want to), does not know many aspects of Japanese culture, does not know many hieroglyphs, which is why many subjects are difficult for him. after another school day, he finds a small game store where he is asked to give him the most difficult game in which he could immerse himself for a long time. A dusty box with a puzzle is found on the shelves.
