If anybody’s still around I have some announcements. I know I keep telling y’all to wait for this and wait for that, and I apologize if I’ve lost your trust, but I really do have good intentions behind my words.

Anyways,

First: I do have a garden update coming tomorrow 🙂 I’ve gotten some good interactions with those so I’ll keep putting them out for you.

Second: a face reveal is coming, again 😅 I get insecure and it’s really no excuse but sorry about that.

Third: I’ve had a very slow start to it, but I’m working on a BTS/Army related painting. (Fun fact - I fancy acrylic paint and I’d say I’m pretty decent) It was something that I wanted to start back in January but I wasn’t in a good place. I’ve been in the process of interviewing for an entry-level department at a company, yesterday I had a second round interview, and now I have to wait a good 2 to 3 weeks to find out if I got the job or not. I’ve found some new motivation to paint again and I have a lot of time on my hands. I don’t know how long it’ll take me to finish it, but I’ll show it off when it’s done.

I haven’t said anything about any Kdramas for a while now (I still watch plenty, check my list), but I started watching Uncontrollably Fond the other day and all I can say rn is: Girl, why tf are we yelling all the time???💀💀 Every other line is being yelled out 💀💀

Garden Update #4

I apologize for it having been almost a month sense I’ve updated you on my seedlings. But I’m here now so it’s okay 😊

Since it has been so long I’ll just give quick summaries of each seedling type.

Cilantro

The cilantros grew the most in height and new growth. There was a moment when they were flopping over and I realized it was because they weren’t getting enough sunlight. I ended up purchasing a grow light and I’m so glad I did because not only did it help my other seedlings, the sun hardly came back for the rest of April. Even today it is very cloudy around here.

If you want more info on the grow light let me know bc it genuinely works really well.

Bok Choy

Unfortunately, I ended up loosing 4 of 5 Bok choys. I still don’t know whether the cause was overwatering, underwayering, dampening-off, shock, lack of sunlight, I truly don’t know. It was saddening, but it’s something that happens while gardening. Your bound to loose some plants here and there. I planted 4 new cups of Bok Choy and they sprouted up really nice and full.

Basil

Honestly, not much happened with the basil. It’s just been growing and doing it’s thang or whateva. I lost a couple sprouts, but I didn’t have to plant anymore to that’s good.

Spicy and Bell peppers

I don’t know if you noticed before but I’ve hardly talked about my peppers. Truly because nothing happened until recently. My first round of pepper got moldy and I ended up starting some new cups. I almost lost hope on those too because nothing was happening. It had been 15 days and I hadn’t seen anything yet. Just as I was about to start those again when I found sprouts. I was so excited and so interested to see that they also grew up in loops like the cilantro.

I will also mention that the new hole-punched cups are working very well. They drain like they’re supposed to and they haven’t gotten moldy yet.

May 5th

Now we can get current.

✨Cilantro✨

As you can see, they have very defined cilantro leaf growth. It’s very exciting to see and they also smell like cilantro too 🤩 The only thing is, they have very weak stems. I can’t figure out why for sure, but it does make me a bit worried. I have them supported with kabob sticks, but it’s still really sad when they fall off and flop over. I may need to transplant them into a different container, but I don’t know for sure.

The basil is still quite small, but it’s got some new growth in the middle so it is still alive and growing. She just takes her sweet time 😊

I’m so glad Bok choys grow so fast because it’s fun to see it happen. I planted a bunch of new seeds. I had to thin out the ones that were short, had different sized leaves, discolored, and ones that didn’t look completely healthy. Some of the new seeds are already getting some new growth too, which is always exciting 😛

This is the only original Bok Choy seedling from the first batch and as you can see, it’s got some Bok Choy leaves. It’s does need a little toothpick support, buts she’s a trooper 😊 She’s doing well.

I think the pepper sprouts are so pretty. Something about the leaf shape and color is just.. mwuah 😚 chefs kiss. I’m really glad that they finally sprout but bc I thought I was going to abandon them completely. I knew before going into this that pepper, even if you buy matured seedlings, are a bit hard to grow. I was so excited to see them pop up.

Well, that’s all I have for now. Sorry again it’s been so long, but it also takes a while for some things to happen. So far everything is growing the best it can and so it’s still exciting.
