Garden Update #5
I think at this point the updates will be coming further apart, purely for the fact that, plants take time to grow.
I hope you understand and I hope youāll stick around to see more.
About a 2 weeks ago I drilled some coffee cans to use as planters for my strawberry roots. I made a mess while doing it, but I drilled on the bottom and sides of the cans.

My family and I are coffee fiends š itās a daily ritual we all partake in, so we were able to save the empty cans fast. Itās a good way to recycle too. I have a to admit tho, even now, Iām still a bit worried that I didnāt put enough holes in the cans so it wonāt be draining properly, but strawberries like lots of water so weāll see. The first time I watered the roots they did have actual streams of water coming out of them so, thatās a good sign of drainage.
Iām trying something Iāve never tried before and thatās grow bags. Theyāre specially craft bags out of breathable, steady material that are evidently becoming a more popular way of gardening produce and flowers. Iāve only ever gardened in the ground before, but the soil where I live had a very high clay content and isnāt good for growing plants, which is why Iām trying grow bags.
I bought them back in March when they happened to be on a sale. Iād been scoping them out and the size I wanted just so happened to be on sale one random day when I checked, so I ordered them on the spot. They are 25 gallons (thatās a lot of fuckin dirt šµ) and they came in a pack of 5. From the little bit Iāve used them so far, they are very well made and drain very well which is exciting.
I filled them with a store-bought dirt mix, then a homemade-compost-wormy-garden mix, and then again with more store-bought dirt. Like I said it was a lot, A LOT of dirt. It took me three days to get them filled, because it was so much dirt to move and it had been really hot outside (I unfortunately have heat intolerance and overheat too easily) but I finally got all my stuff planted about a week ago.
In total, I have Bok Choy, bell peppers, a tomato plant, carrots, radishes, red-yellow-and-white onions, strawberries, basil, and cilantro. Quite the spread, if I do say so myself. Some things Iāve never grown before and some things I have experience with. I had a pepper plant and 2 tomato plants donated to me by a family friend, so that was really nice of them.
It rained last night and this is what my garden looked like this morning.

The radishes and onions are already sprouting up nicely. The tomato and pepper plants are also doing well. Also if you rub your fingers on the basil and the cilantro, you can smell it abs it spells so good.

I still donāt have strawberry or carrot sprouts and the Bok Choy is struggling a bit? I canāt tell. Some of them didnāt survive the transplant so I may try to plant some more when the dirt dries out a bit.

This morning I also saved this toad that somehow fazed the wall into my house 𤨠and this is my dog. He doesnāt fancy the rain, but he likes to play in water so heās a bona-fide weirdo. All creatures were present before and during tending to the garden, so they had to be included in the update š

There were also some baby rabbits growing in a burrow very near the garden and the other day they were big enough to leave. They were so cute.
Thatās all for now. Itās really just a huge waiting game but Iām really curious to see how the grow bags work out. Some plants Iām worried about, others are doing very well so it is what it is. Iām excited overall tho and happy I have something to put my time into.
Thank you for reading š Iāll be back later
Cute š
Hybe staff know whatās good. They know whatās up.
Bro, Iām so emotional and sobbing rn. That was beautiful.
I used to not be able to listen to WAB: The Eternals bc I would get too emotional for many reasons to actually listen to the song. I can listen to it better now, but it took me about a year.
I canāt listen to For Youth. Iāve only listened to it twice. Itās too much for me emotionally atm.
I canāt wait for the day when I can really listen to it and find new meaning in the lyrics than what is surfacing at face level.
But when I turn on Run BTS⦠I wanna make it move, left and right, all night long šš
I have some anon asks from, Iām assuming, right after I went on break, so Iāll answer those now.
If theyāre older than a couple weeks (š) sorry for the long wait.
Jungkook is so sweet. So much passion in his heart.
My You is yet another song he put out to convey his passion and love for army š„² heās truly the sweetest. I never feel alone when I listen to him bc I know heās speaking the truth.
Thank you for the song, Jungkookie. I hope you and the members are doing well and are having a great time celebrating 9 years together. Truly the greatest.
Look, Iām sobbing again bc those live performances were absolutely beautiful and came directly from the soul š„²š„²š„² Beautiful live stage. I canāt explain enough how much passion that out into everything for them and us. Itās literally tangible.
But also, all Iām saying is, donāt talk to the rap line after theyāve just spit some hot bars at rapid speed š mfers weāre talking so fast during that interview part, lmao

Picked up this bad boy up at Walmart⨠this evening š¤©

Garden Update #6
Hey, Hey, Hey!! š exciting stuff today
āØOnionsāØ
Growing flawlessly. I already had to trim the tops off bc they were getting too tall and falling over. Iāll have to do it again pretty soon.

āØRadishesāØ
Also sprouted up very nicely and are doing well. Some of the stems have turned red so hopefully Iāll get some good sized radishes. The leaves got too heavy so I had to prop them up so they donāt grow sideways and I forgot how spiky radish leaves are.

āØCarrotsāØ
Theyāll need to be thinned out here pretty soon. I probably shouldāve figured out how to give them there own grow bag so that I could have more, but itāll be okay. This growing season was kinda one big experiment for me.

āØTomatoāØ
Itās about half my height. Itās funny bc it wonāt look like itās growing for a couple days and then it sprouts up a bunch and youāre like āwoah, itās so big.ā It has some blossoms on it so Iām hoping for big juicy tomatoes.

āØPeppersāØ
Theyāre doing alright, I think. I question their stability sometimes, but theyāre still growing and saying tall so.. oh well

āØBok ChoyāØ
Thatās right, only 2 Bok Choy atm. The big one is growing very nicely which Iām kinda surprised about bc it was so hot the past couple weeks and they prefer cooler temperatures. Iāll be able to plant more pretty soon, to see how they grow too. Iām actually so happy one is doing well bc Iāve never grown Bok Choy before.

āØBasilāØ
Itās pretty small still, Iām not gonna lie, it worries me a bit. Something also dug right next to the smaller basil the other day and I think it stunned it a bit, it doesnāt look too well. Hopefully, theyāll start growing up more soon.

āØStrawberries and CilantroāØ
Remember my cilantro was doing so well and smelled so good, it all died. Idk what happened. It didnāt want to do it no more. So I planted more but this time directly outside, weāll see how it does.
My strawberries arenāt growing. Idk whatās wrong with them either, I havenāt gotten a single sprout and I shouldāve at this point. I did plant roots and I donāt know if those are harder to get started or what. Iāll give them a bit more time, but if theyāre a no show I guess thatās that. I think itās too late to try from seeds, so I may have to wait till next year to try strawberries again. They were something that I had never grown before either so Iām kinda not surprised something went wrong.
Thatās all I have for now. I think Iāll be able to harvest the radishes and Bok Choy soon so thatās very exciting. Hopefully everything keeps growing well.
Iāll be back with more later on. Wait for me.
I wanted to show you my current wallpaper bc I think itās beautiful:

Itās the picture on the left, but itās from the picture on the right. I put it through and app that makes AI paintings (it was trending a little bit ago). Isnāt it so pretty and inconspicuous. I love how it looks like thereās a blossom as his face and hands, but it still has most of his form, ya know.
I want to try to paint it irl some day bc I think itās just so beautiful, I canāt even explain it.
I will also say, I did not take the picture on the right. I saved from Twitter, a couple saves down the line. It does have a tag in the upper right corner

My ļæ¼urge to recreate this concept is āØexponentialāØ
Iām so excited for this mixtape.

I was literally just thinking the other day how stressful and sad I was around the time of the Grammyās with everything that was going on. You can literally see it on their faces and in their behavior. I couldnāt imagine how it it felt being in their postition.
They are so strong and they did so well.
I love Namjoon
I love Seokjin
I love Yoongi
I love Hoseok
I love Jimin
I love Taehyung
I love Jungkook
This is my love confession. I love them so much š
