You were dressed to the nines to attend a business meeting meant to honor Jumin as his branch reported record breaking numbers for the fiscal year. You couldn’t hide how proud you were of Jumin as his father toasted to his fantastic leadership.

After the dinner Jumin introduced you to each of the C&R branch heads that came to congratulate him. a little flustered you couldn’t help but notice how much it seemed Jumin enjoyed showing you off, it seemed that every compliment he received was met with some sort of counter about how you had inspired, encouraged, or taught him something.

If someone mentioned the increase in his employee’s productivity, he told them that you had recently suggested an employee satisfaction unit to promote stress reduction which had greatly improved employee productivity. If they mentioned his foreign business dealings he cited your love of overseas culture as a major positive impact on each one. You couldn’t help but blush at all his praise.

As the night wore on you noticed several eyes on you from across the room and slowly you began to wonder if they were truly friendly. One pair in particular felt unpleasantly voyeuristic. Turning you head suddenly you caught the shifting gaze of a man who looked to be nearing his 60’s you tried to shake your suspicions as you watched him approach you both. He spoke jovially to Jumin about his branches newest projections but you could smell the alcohol on his breath from where you stood. When Jumin’s phone rang part of you wanted to follow as he excused himself to take the call.

This man made you uncomfortable no matter how you tried to forget your earlier suspicions. Then as Jumin turned his back you felt the man pull you forward his lips wet against your obvious grimace. You pushed him away spluttering your distaste. Jumins hand was on your shoulder immediatly pulling you backwards a little roughly. His eyes were cold, his face grim and you could feel the slightest tremble of anger in the fierce grip on you shoulder.

“it would be prudent for you to excuse yourself” he almost growled to the man you had just shoved away “now” he added when the man seemed too shocked to move. You had to admit the sight of Jumin so angry was rare and had it been directed at you, you may have frozen as well. The man scrambled backwards towards the door and you saw Jumin nod sharply to a bodyguard that moved to meet the man at the door “he will be charged with assault by the morning of course.” Jumin assured you before guiding you to a side exit.

Within minutes you and Jumin were in route to the penthouse his eyes fixed on you as you wiped at your mouth you felt gross, the feel of the man’s lips still vivid against your mouth.

“darling, are you okay?” the gentle concern in Jumin’s voice was in stark contrast to the icy anger it had before.

“I’m sorry.” You mumbled forcing yourself to stop trying to rub away the memory of the kiss. Then Jumin’s arms where around you gently pulling you to his chest as he shushed you.

“that man is scum but no matter what he does or did, it could never change how pure and perfect you are.” Jumin’s warmth helped you relax but you couldn’t stop the tears. He held you all the way home and once in the penthouse he made you tea. He assured you that it wasn’t your fault, you weren’t any different for what had happened and most of all he promised you that you would never see that man again.

You weren’t entirely sure what happened to the man who had tried to assault you. You knew he did not work at C&R or any of its affiliates. You knew that the police took your statement as well as security footage from the party. You knew Jumin would keep his promise.

And that, was everything you needed to know.

You felt safe.

Jumin loves starting his day looking at your serene form next to his in the morning, he'll admire you for a while before he gets up

He feels much happier with his morning routines because it includes you!

Tying his tie? Yes pls! It's one of his favorite morning routine

And he calls you three times a day without a fail, the first call is when he arrives at the offce, telling you his short trip, "There's a new restaurant that opened up, perhaps you would like to try it tonight?" and then he bids you to have a good day

The second is during his lunch break, telling you how his morning went, what his plans are during the afternoon, and asks about you

The third is on his way home, how he'd say he's excited to come back home to you

And sometimes there's a fourth call, it's when he's very stressed and just wants to hear your voice to calm himself

And hey, he has an office at home when he's not needed personally! He loves having you there just hanging around, and he occasionally asks for your opinions

He has dozens of blurry pictures of you and Elizabeth, one of his favorites is you and Elizabeth napping on the couch together

And every now and then you have segment called Introducing Commoner Food to Jumin, you, Seven, and Yoosung usually decides what food next to introduce to him

And he particularly finds the fish shaped buns interesting, wondering he could make them into cat shapes he did try and he did succeed there's a branch in the city earning profits much to jaehee's surprise lmao

And whenever there's a party, his hand will be glued to your waist, never leaving your side unless there's some businessmen he needs to tend to

He likes letting people know you're his, and he's yours

Jumin loves those non sexual intimate moments with you, drying your hair after a shower, your fingers combing through his hair, the silence you share as you both drink wine while looking through the glass walls of the penthouse, the strolls in his private garden and much more

And you have matching aprons, a his and hers with a cat print design

And every night before he sleeps, he kisses your temple whether you're awake or asleep

okay but during quarantine MC sews masks and jumin embroiders designs on the outside layer so when everything opens up jumin wears masks he and his wife made together

his favorite is the royal purple one that has a black paw print embroidered in the corner. it still smells a little bit like MC’s perfume and matches her black mask with a royal purple paw print in the corner.

they made a lot while listening to audio books and sipping wine in the pent house, jumin suggests selling them but MC insists they give them out to C&R employees to help promote mask use

12 hour retail shifts SUCK! but i have monday off and will post the requests i’ve been working on i promise!

he’d notice you were gone after a few minutes, he’d frantically look around to search for you

he’d even knock and shout to the ladies room

then he’d find you just outside, “MC?” he’d call out

you’d smile sorrily at him as he reaches for you, gonna ask if you’r alright

Whether you'll stay or not is completely up to you, but Yoosung wants you to be comfortable than force yourself

At first she'd panic internally, asking around if someone saw you go somewhere

And when she finds you outside she'll feel relieve

She'll let you be if you want some space, but she'll also makes sure to bring you something to eat or drink

Jumin

Jumin introduced you to some businessmen, and when he got stuck answering questions you slowly slipped away from them

Noticing your hand was gone from his arm, he'll excuse himself, and by this time he knows where exactly you are

He knows you'd get overwhelmed easily with many people, and he wants you to be as comfortable as you are

And if wanting some air is what you want, he'll let you be and ask if you want to home

"Don't strain yourself my love," he'd remind you to prioritize yourself than anything else

Saeyoung

Once he finds you there's no going back to the crowd

He'd be the one holding your hand as you both run away!

And by run away it's bailing out on the party and go get some ice cream

He'd really rather be having fun with you than be stuck in the party mingling with the guests

as someone who does get genuinely angry enough for confrontation very often i feel this

also poor jumin but i kinda wanna know how everyone reacted to him doing all that for MC

Zen is no stranger to the concept of hidden, formidable beasts. 

There’s a reason why he is so quick to avoid conflicts, both between you and himself as well as between you and others. 

Although, if someone is stupid enough to incur your wrath, he lets the poor fool take the full brunt of it. He tried to warn them! Oh, well. 

It might be inappropriate, but he thinks there’s something beautiful about the sheer merciless intensity of your anger. Whenever you pop off at him, he has like a solid ten seconds of awe-inspired blankness of mind before the fear for his life kicks in. 

1/2 of the ‘MC is Hot When They’re Mad at Me’ Gang

Yoosung has seen you truly angry only once. 

It wasn’t even directed at him and he still shivers sometimes when he thinks back on it! You’re just usually so mild mannered and calm -- he really, really didn’t expect that from you... 

If a pet peeve of yours is brought up in the chat (or really anywhere, with anyone) he will bodily inject himself into the conversation in order to divert it. He doesn’t want anyone making you mad -- they don’t know what they’re getting themselves into! 

Even if your eyes do go hard and steely... and you bare your teeth... and your words are so sharp and pointed they’re like daggers sinking into the skin of your opponent... 

2/2 of the ‘MC is Hot When They’re Mad at Me’ Gang

Jaehee used to think it was scary, but now she’s used to it. 

Mostly. 

There’s very little that phases The Kang Jaehee. Not just everyone can be Han Jumin’s PA -- her skin is basically impenetrable. That being said... 

She doesn’t like to see you angry. Not only does she know that you must’ve been very upset to be pushed into anger, but she also acknowledges that it’s draining for you to have such outbursts. 

Always there to soothe you through it if she can -- and if she can’t, she’ll send up a quick prayer for whoever is about to be on the receiving end of your anger. 

Please let this fool escape alive, lest she have even more phone calls to make that evening. In the Lord’s name, Amen.

Jumin was naive enough to ignore your warnings. 

“Jumin, you don’t want to make me angry” you’d said. “Jumin, I’m kinda scary when I’m mad” you’d said. Albeit, you’d been laughing when you gave him these infrequent heads up, but you’d still told him! 

He -- oh, the poor, sweet summer’s child that he was -- didn’t take you seriously. 

So that’s how he ends up buying out three separate flower shops in central Seoul, ordering the entirety of Cartier’s unreleased spring catalog, and reserving a private dining room at your favorite five-star steakhouse for every day of next week. 

And that’s just to apologize for underestimating you -- nevermind about what he did to get you so heated in the first place.

Seven hates it when you get mad. 

He doesn’t hate you for it, and he’ll try his best to work through the issue whether he or someone else was the cause for your ire, but it always leaves him feeling rattled. 

It shouldn’t be surprising that he’s especially sensitive to his loved ones and their sentiments towards him, let alone you, one of the people he holds dearest. 

For him, it’s tough to watch you lose yourself enough to be enraged. It’s even tougher to separate you -- his lovely, sweet, caring, ridiculously perfect girlfriend -- and your rage from what he is used to associating rage from a loved one with. 

After the storm blows over, he might shut down a little bit. But it’s nothing some TLC and quality time can’t fix!
