The Horrors of an Adventure

Summary: Patton gets lost in a weird land. It hurts and everything seems out to get him. Familiar faces were painfully different. 

Warnings: Deceit isn’t bad, as in he literally doesn’t do anything bad. Death mentioned. body changes? suffocation. 

Patton looked up. The sky was a peculiar light purple. A lilac purple. There were a few pink clouds that drifted across the pale sky, they looked like cotton candy. He blinked a few times and slowly sat up, his eyes remained glued on one of the clouds that looked like a pirate ship. He couldn’t remember a sky like this. The sky certainly wasn’t normal. Maybe he’d stumbled into Roman’s world of imagination… that was probably it… Right?

The world around him was very pretty, there was some woods around the clearing he was sat in and a green coloured pond next to him. Fish swam in the greenish water, under the reeds and lily pads, they were bigger than Patton ever thought possible. The grass was unnaturally soft and red under his fingers as the cold breeze tickled his skin and brushed his hair against his forehead.

His legs were unsteady as he pushed himself to his feet. His legs ached and trembled under his weight. He let out a deep breath and wiped the grass from his khaki pants. He was glad that he at least had his usual clothes on him. His light blue polo was clean and pristine, although his cat hoodie had red stains down the back from the grass. He combed back his hair and straightened up his glasses.
