Pairing: Jeongguk x reader (I felt like spelling his name different in this one, though I’ve no idea why) 

Genre: Smut with sprinklings of fluff 

Warnings: Cursing, minor injury, drinking, dirty talk, graphic descriptions of sex including; unprotected intercourse, fingering, oral sex (male receiving), rough sex, spanking.

I know I’ve written the reader as a fair bit older than Jeongguk in this fic, but I hope it doesn’t alienate you slightly younger readers.  It doesn’t really play much of a part in anything other than setting the scene.  

This really wasn’t what you’d had in mind when you’d agreed to spend a weekend in the arse end of nowhere.  You don’t even really know the bride that well, for Christ’s sake, but here you are stood amongst a group of her very best ‘gal pals’ with a poorly concealed look of horror on your face as the young woman in front bounces on the balls of her feet, petite frame brimming over with enthusiasm.  

“Ok guys!  Are we ready to have some fun?”  

This girl can’t be for real, right?  No one is this peppy on a Monday morning. The line of women to your left reply with varying levels on enthusiasm as your best friend nudges you sharply in the ribs, and she doesn’t have to speak for you to receive her message loud and clear, forcing your lips into a tight smile as the girl continues to speak.  

You will enjoy yourself.  You will make the best of this.  You will, you will, you will.  

“If you’d just like to help yourselves each to a harness and get strapped up your instructor for today should be with you shortly!”  Her hair bounces with the force with which she gestures towards the bucket of climbing equipment in the corner, and it’s with a sense of grim determination that you form an orderly queue behind the others to retrieve the instruments of your doom.   

Ok, so maybe you’re being a little dramatic, but you firmly believe whoever’s idea this was for a group of almost-30-year-old women to go rock climbing in their precious free time truly deserves a rather long walk off a short pier.  It had to have been Hannah, the bride’s sister-in-law-to be - why else would she be grinning like such an idiot?

Hen weekends are supposed to be all partying, poor decisions and penis straws not… this.  Not slightly moist climbing shoes and well-worn harnesses that have seen god knows how many different crotches in their lifetime - probably even more than Kay, you’d bet.  You glance up at her with a smirk as you shimmy your way into it, keeping the joke to yourself; she probably wouldn’t appreciate it right now, not when she’s currently hopping from foot to foot with a frown, trying to make her generous behind fit between the straps.  

“Who the hell designed these?” she gripes as she wiggles the harness upwards and then squats to help them slot into the grooves at the tops of her thighs.  You recognise the look on her face all too well as she looks down at herself with nothing but disappointment in her eyes, and you have to act quickly to halt the impending downward spiral of her self-confidence.  

“There is no one who could make this shit look good, Kay, trust me,” you tell her, plonking a bright orange helmet onto your head and shooting her a ridiculous grin, relieved when she cracks a smile in reply and pulls on her own turquoise monstrosity.  

A door bangs opens on the far side of the locker room and through it walks your instructor for the morning, all geared up and ready to go.  

“Except for him, apparently,” Kay murmurs under her breath as the whole room falls silent and you nod your head dumbly in agreement, absolutely captivated by the young man who’s walking steadily towards your group, his shoulders swaying back and forth.  

God, she’s not wrong.  The harness that looks so hideously unflattering on you does absolutely everything for your instructor-to-be, cinching in his inexplicably tiny waist and cutting into the meat of his thighs in a way that shouldn’t be as nearly as attractive as it is.

You feel the sharp jab of Kay’s elbow once again, and it’s only then that you realise you’d been staring openly at his crotch, your mouth slightly ajar.  

“Morning ladies,” he greets as he comes to a stop in front of your group, standing with his legs spread fairly wide, hands rubbing together.  A small smile graces his face when you all answer in chorus and out from behind his lips appears two of the most adorable front teeth you’ve ever seen.  

Jesus, how old is this kid anyway?  He barely looks a day over twenty; the tanned skin of his cheeks smooth and plump, his dark eyes still twinkling with the kind of effortless optimism that only youth can bring, age yet to bestow even a single wrinkle or dark circle. He’s definitely too young for you.  Definitely.  

“My name’s Jeongguk and I’ll be leading your session today,” he continues, and though he sounds fairly confident you can tell by his restless hands that Jeongguk isn’t quite as at ease as he’d like you to believe.  

Cute.  

“I can see you’re all geared up and ready to go, so there’s just some safety info that we need to get through first and then we’ll be good to get you up on the walls.”  His eyes drift over the group from left to right as he addresses you all, and you wish you could say that his gaze lingers on you just that little bit longer than the rest but unfortunately you can’t.  He pays you no more attention than anyone else in the room, his friendly smile disappearing as he promptly gets down to business.  “First off, have any of you climbed before?”

You promptly roll your eyes when you see a dainty hand slowly raise into the air.  Of course Hannah would have prior experience - she never would’ve suggested something that didn’t provide ample opportunity for her to show off.  

“Me and daddy used to scale El Potrero Chico whenever we vacationed in Mexico,” she informs him in her most polished of voices, looking far too pleased with herself whilst her eyes look Jeongguk up and down, fake lashes fluttering.  

God, you hate her.  You’ll never quite able to fathom how she and your favourite childhood playmate are in any way related.  If you were him you’d have ended up smothering Hannah in her sleep a long time ago.  

Thankfully Jeongguk seems totally oblivious to the manner in which she’s eyeing him; like a delicious meal just waiting to be devoured.  God, please say you’re at least more subtle than she is.  

“Excellent.”  Jeongguk gives a nod of his head and her beady little eyes light up at the brief smile he gifts her with.  “You won’t be needing much of my attention, then.”  It’s with great difficulty that you resist laughing at the way Hannah’s expression falls at Jeongguk’s somewhat blunt dismissal, pursing your smiling lips tight as he asks if anyone else has any prior experience.  No one else puts their hand up, and you can’t help but wonder whether or not any of them are holding back for fear that they won’t get any this handsome young man’s attention either.  You wouldn’t blame them if they were.

Abruptly, you drop his hand. “I’m sorry, I don’t  think I heard you right. Did you say Disneyland?”

A Guide to Fanfiction Tropes and Genres:

🟪I made this cuz honestly, why not lol. For people who are beginners to the fanfiction universe. For anyone who wants to get a glimpse of what this world is like and the common themes used in this "off-the-wall piece of literature". Could be for research purposes or for curiosity, or maybe you want to start writing stuff but not sure what things you might use. No matter who is reading this, I hope this guide helps you.

--I also made this for myself, as a lil handbook to look at while categorizing the fanfics i collect in my blog.

🟦There are genres/topes/themes which you won't be seeing much or any at all particularly in my blog; but I wanted to add them to the lists anyways because they are widely used in fanfiction. I tried to include the main, most common things used in fanfics. Because in reality, the possibilities in a fanfic are endless.

--Many of these are self explanatory so I didn't add extra info to most of them.

This may be used by other fandoms as well. Since this is a Jungkook based account, he is used for some of the examples. You can replace him with anyone you wish to write/read about.
