The boys comparing asses & size of other body parts is 100% something that happens in the locker room. Fives eats more & gyms more & he's got a slightly bigger š than the rest. He will not shut up about it.

He's covering with a kama so we dont get too distracted!
Yes! There's a couple of moments when Hunter scolds her too harshly & Wrecker glares and/or shoves him after. He's also the one who argues hardest with Tech to go talk to Omega when she's feeling sad about Echo. They're background moments, but if you look closely, Wrecker is often checking on how Omega feels. And when they're on Pabu, he's the only one actually playing w Omega, not just supervising, which is what a really good parent does.
Wrecker simp rambles
People be praising Hunter for being a dad and Crosshair for being a big brother while forgetting Wrecker was Omegas biggest supporter from day one. He saw this kid throw food at another clone for their sake and didn't hesitate to get up behind her all protective and later on threw hands for her (also because he likes it but he wasn't let someone intimidate a kid)
And even more important he was the first and only one being like this is a kid: she needs a place to sleep and some privacy. Like he not only provided her own private place on an already limited ship, no he made sure everything was soft and padded and made it cozy with fairy lights. He was the only one like yeah a kid shouldn't be sleeping in a pilot chair or bare ass none padded shuttle bunks. He also was like I'm sure this is a lot for her. Let me give her my emotional support plushie, since she'll need it more right now.
Also like when they crash landed in that moon. And he actively forced himself to stop outwardly panicking cuz yeah maybe don't tell the kid that they gonna die.
Through the whole show Wrecker was the one providing constant positive physical touch (hugs, shoulder rides etc), feedback (little high five during meeting cid) and little routines like getting mantel mix . Like sure it kinda is played off like a joke cuz haha wrecker likes food but broskies. Omega is a kid and a clone and at least on screen no one went out of their way to treat omega like well a child to that extent early on and give her some amount of actual normality.
Also like when Cad Bane kidnapped her Wrecker immediately was there to comfort her or tell Tech to watch it after the Zillo incident. Like hands down if someone deserves parent of the year it's Wrecker

Vader with his cape & ARCs with their kamas have the same energy

Their 1st mission together. They needed to open a door to infiltrate some place. Tech takes out his pad & cable but Echo's already plugged in. Tech, miffed that he's usually the one overriding protocols, watches over Echo's shoulder & walks him through every single step to Echo's great annoyance.
Tech: Now, make sure you've input the correct protocols otherwiseā
Echo: I know how to override a simple door control
Tech: well you certainly needed my help relaying the signal on Anaxes...
Echo: that was different, this is just a kriffing door
Hunter: just get it open!
What do you think was the first little spat that Tech and Echo had, I have my theories but Iām curious š
Echo is tolerant up to a point but he's not above throwing hands. Like he & Hevy got into it in the cadets episode & it seemed like that was a regular occurrence. He's the first to stand-up after Omega hits the reg with her lunch, even if he does complain, he's ready to get into it. In the brig, he literally just met Omega & he tells the Corrie "harm her & you're a dead man" ... like he's chill but he's not that chill, Crosshair would walk away with a black eye if he pushed too many buttons. Cause yeah, if the two got into it, Echo would win no diff & Crosshair knows this.
I genuinely think the first time Echo and Crosshair fought it was like the ship had been set on fire.
Their mission was shitty. It beat them into the ground and there was a lot of death in that battle and it had run them all ragged. Everyone was on edge. And Crosshair made some shitty comment that set Echo off. He was already pissed off and upset and overstimulated and Crosshair made the mistake of being a dick at the wrong time.
And Echo lashed out at him with such an intense dressing down that everyone just stared in silence as he did it. Crosshair didnāt help his case. He threw back just as many metaphorical punches and buckled down and made it worse because if someoneās going to call him out heāll make sure it stings. Itās going to linger, hurt when itās thought about.
By the time it was over they both sulked on opposite ends of the ship and avoided each other like the plague. As well as snapped at the rest of the batch when they tried to even ask simple questions or dare to sit nearby.
For the next three days it was like walking around two landmines. They refused to remain in the same room as each other, wouldnāt talk to each other or anyone else. It took locking them both in the cockpit and only agreeing to let them out if they talked about it before they finally broke down and had a conversation (stubborn as hell they are.)
They arenāt good at talking, especially about their feelings, so it took some more arguing before one of them got honest. It was probably Echo who, tired of fighting, finally admitted that sometimes Crosshair crosses (lol) a line and he doesnāt let it go. And it hurt (which he begrudgingly admits after some prodding.) to which Crosshair can admit that his pride gets in the way when someone confronts him and he may have dealt some low blows.
After an awkward silence they could maybe admit that fighting with each other sucked so bad but it felt kind of impossible to patch things up. This is the fight where Echo learned Cross will only patch things up when heās ready (and he usually has to let it get pretty bad before heāll admit any fault) and Crosshair learns that Echo can spit fire if heās pissed and doesnāt back down from a fight.
Their fights arenāt always that bad. Although, like any people who live together 24/7, they get into spats every so often. Most of the time theyāre easy to patch up. Some deflection, a distraction, a grumbled peace offering. Crosshair also learns that if he can get Echo to laugh then heās basically forgiven for the smaller things. Crosshair will bring a small gift in apology within the week. Itās like clockwork. Echo has learned to expect it. And while he tries to pretend he wonāt accept the apology gift because heās still mad he does end up softening up when he finds stupid little trinkets in his pack.
Echo just brings Crosshair food when he wants to apologize about something. Usually tossed at him with some sort of grumbling over how āthis looked gross thought youād like itā and it ends up being some sweet he knows Cross loves.
They may not get along 100% of the time but I like to think that the fighting ends up getting patched up in a way that is uniquely them.
