Echo doesn't think- he just acts and plucks the dented mug of caf out of Cal's hands. The utter look of betrayal the vod'ika gives him only makes him chug the caf. “It will stunt your growth,” he explains while handing the empty mug back after he is done. The caf had an acidic burn that his mouth isn't going to forget anytime soon. Really, he had saved the tiny clone.

Cal glares down at the empty mug. His fingers flex against the edges, knuckles going white. 

“I'm not a kid,” Cal finally announces, looking up at Echo. 

“Yeah? I am.”

"Who cares if we're a little lost - look at these guys!" "I care, Fives, I care"

also he was looking at Tarkin before he was knocked out as well

Food for though : Echo fear of medical equipments.

I often though how in "Aftermath", Echo wakes up clearly in fear of been in the medbay. Yet, don't seem to break a sweat when it's time to get his chip out.

Then something click in my head.

When he wakes up after the Citadel, the last thing he hears was Fives' warning.

When he wakes in the medbay, the last thing he hears was Tech's warning.

Not the same wording, but the same feeling of emergency might have triggered him.

Also I would like a sitcom of the batch pre order 66 so I can get the full backstory behind “I don't even see any blood this time, that's progress”

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like Echo and Crosshair should talk more because they'd actually understand eachother really well

Idk just something about not having a choice and getting hurt by the enemy and having to adapt again and even though what happened to them was completely different I expect they could both see it from the other's perspective

I'm rewatching episode five and there's just something about the way it's Echo that gets to reassure Omega she did the right thing by escaping Tantiss and what mattered was that she got out of there. It's like he knows she feels guilty about leaving the others behind and he knows she wants to do more, because he does too. It's a subtle nod to what he went through but also another little moment showing their dynamic and I love that.

Echo: It's called cauliflower, not ghost broccoli.

Fives, eyes wide: I know what I saw.

Someone has probably already said this but I just realized it's exactly the same energy you cannot tell me otherwise

It’s actually so important to me that one of my biggest hc’s is that Echo is the youngest of Domino Squad, he’s the baby, and all of Domino Squad remind him of it. But to the Batch? To Omega? He’s the oldest, and he does his best to act like his own older brothers.
