If it is ok: do you happen to have a speed paint on this that i can watch ? if not, may i politely ask what your method is when you draw clothing? i didn't record that one, no. but i have a yt with some speedpaints of other stuff, they're old but the process is not that much different now.

when drawing i think about its form, where it's getting pulled and such, kinda like drapery studies but scaled up and more defined

if i'm struggling (and/or not feeling lazy) i find some references heres the ref sheet i made for dtiys thing, with some notes added

ideally i would take photos for it myself, as a slav i am well acquainted with the squat but it was the middle of the night haha

also this is gonna sound insane but years ago there was a month or so when i would stare at the way cloth folds. didn't get better at drawing it, but at least in my head its mechanics clicked
