With my last post being about shadow work, I thought I’d give y’all some prompts to use.
How does the feeling of envy show up in your life?
What do you need more of in your life?
What do you love most about yourself?
If you could get rid of one bad memory, what would it be and why?
In what ways are you inauthentic?
What irrational fears do you have and how do they hold you back?
Do you hold grudges against others that could be let go? What’s your motive for holding onto them?
What do you hate about others? Why? What might that say about yourself?
What do you need to stop running away from?
What do you need to let go of?
What should you attract into your life?
How do you feel about “love”?
Why do you think you don’t deserve love?
What do you minimize about yourself? What do you flaunt?
How do you deal with criticism?
How do you perceive pain?
Why haven’t you dealt with your past before?
What don’t you like about your life? Why? How can you change it?

What did that relationship teach you? (you know the one… that one)
How can you maintain your individuality?

How can you lead with your heart in your life?
How have your dreams fallen short of reality?
What is your relationship with your mother like?
What is your relationship with your father like?
Write a letter to your inner child. Maybe apologize for what has happened to them and that you couldn’t protect them, tell them how far you have come and how much you have done. Say whatever comes to mind.
How have you been a martyr/victim in your own life?
I’ll keep this post updated with more prompts when I find them
I like the word “witchery” because of its linguistic similarity to “fuckery.” Witchcraft is fuckery; fuckery is witchcraft. They are inextricably connected in my mind and it makes me happy.
Moon and Venus conjunction
reminder that imbolc is not a “celebration of spring” in the sense that we’re expecting to see plants to pop up from the ground. no, it’s about the returning light.
february is usually the month when we can actually sense the waxing daylight in the northern hemisphere. it’s a noticeable difference from the previous four months of near complete darkness. that’s what we’re celebrating.

Protection Oil Recipe
This is my favorite protection oil I have made. It may have a lot of ingredients in it but the friends i have sent samples to have said it works better than anything they have tried before. I love this recipe, I use it all the time, so here you go.
PROTECTION OIL RECIPE
Carrier oil of your choice (sweet almond, avocado, olive, corn, etc) garlic rosemary cinnamon bay leaf frankincense Cloves devils claw root Angelica Root sage
(substitutions can be vervain, safflower, wormwood, horehound, jasmine, red pepper, lavender, star anise, caraway seeds, calendula, sage, and other protective herbs you have. you don't have to follow the recipe exact, just use what you have)
Witchcraft: Magical Mornings
Every now and then, I find myself and others wanting to spend more time actively practicing witchcraft. I also love to wake up early in the morning to get rid of a funk, and these tips assist me in making that task more magical. Good Morning!
Enchant your mug for morning beverages with the intentions of your goals for the day. Coffee symbolizes speed and luck, whilst Tea embodies healing energies. Water is always cleansing as well!
Establishing a five minute daily Tarot Card, Rune, or Pendulum ritual. This can be done in an app if that makes it simpler. This gives you something to focus on each day for self improvement.
Cleansing yourself through bathing, showers, and other hygienic care when in need for a deep purification. This can range from brushing your teeth and hair to facial masks and changing attire.
Listening to a fifteen minute Meditation video and then journaling about what you contemplated. If you desire, consider preforming a shadow work prompt each morning.
Practicing Color Magic through your wardrobe choices. For example, If I desired to attract protection, I would wear the corresponding shade black. This involves jewelry, tops, jackets, to hair dye choices.
Designate fifteen minutes to researching a particular occult or miscellaneous topic of interest to you. You can als document notes if you wish to in a Grimoire.
Stretching to Center your body can be empowering and beneficial both spiritually and physically. Make your bed and cleanse your bedroom by physically tidying it up first thing in the morning. Then add positive energies to space through music or scents.

HOW TO ENCHANT
Enchantments are used widely by witches and practitioners in the community for many different reasons. It can be super helpful within your craft, as enchantments are basically portable spells that you wear or items around your home made magical for a specific purpose
Why: Enchanted items can act like a spell that you wear or carry. It can look like a simple necklace or a ring or earrings, a rock you found in the garden, pretty much anything you want. They help bring about a magical intention. (This can also be done with larger objects around the home, but i suggest the third or fourth method below for that) It itself becomes imbued with magic, your power, and intention to bring about your chosen action.
How: There are a few methods to choose from that are listed below. Some methods may not work well for most people so I made sure to include a handful of different methods to choose from.
The first method is putting herbs that match your intention into a bowl of water with a candle in the middle. Place your jewelry or item you wish to enchant in the water, and speak your intention over the bowl. Light the candle and let your small item sit for as long as you feel is necessary.
The second method is to use energy and your own intention to activate it. Just hold it in your hands and focus, meditate with it and put energy that matches your intention into the item you're holding. You can also use elemental energy for this as well. Visualize yourself holding a piece of earth to create a grounding effect. A ball of fire for passion or love or energy. Water for intuition, psychic abilities, peace, etc. Air for mental agility, communication, freedom, etc. This also works for larger items as well, just direct your energy instead of palming it.
The third is to write a petition down on paper, what you want the enchantment to be, any limits you want it to have, anything you want it to achieve, and even how you wish it to recharge and cleanse itself if you desire it. Fold the paper a couple times (works best if its longer than it is wide), Burn the paper and bathe the piece of jewelry or the item in the smoke. Put out the smoldering paper in some water or snuff it out. it doesn't have to burn to completion.
You can also dip the item in oils that match your intention, or anoint larger objects with the oil of your choice.
There's no special trick to it and every witch does it differently. Do whatever method works best for you in your practice.
Sabbat: Samhain and Yule
Day of the Week: Saturday
Time of day: Midnight and the Witching Hour (3am - 4am)
Dates: October 30th-31st, Last Day of Each Month
Moon Phases: New/Dark and Waning Moon
Colors: Black, White, Purple, Navy Blue, Indigo and Silver
Chakras: Third Eye and Root
Herbs/Oils/Incense: Lavender, Mugwort, Garlic, Dandelion, Mullein, Cypress, Sage, Frankincense, Myrrh, Sandalwood and Mint
Crystals/Minerals and Metals: Black Onyx, Black Tourmaline, Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Lodestone, Silver, Carnelian, Black Obsidian, Snowflake Obsidian, Tourmalinated Quartz, Hematite, Jasper, Bloodstone Teeth and Bones
Animals: Snake, Jackal/Dog, Black Cat, Ferret/Skink, Bull, Sheep (Black Ewe, Black Lamb)
Food and Drinks: Black foods, Red foods, Fermented foods, Grains and Breads, Honey, Milk, Gourds (Squash and Pumpkin), Dark Chocolate, Coffee and Dark wines
Don’t use “traditional” witchcraft tools/practices if they don’t feel right to you. There’s no right or wrong way to be a witch, and things like crystals/herbs may not resonate with you. That’s totally fine.
Maybe your witchcraft is poetry. Maybe your witchcraft is music. Maybe your witchcraft is crafting, or exercise, or cooking, whatever! If something feels right to you, don’t be afraid to try it because it doesn’t seem “witchy” enough. Your power comes from within; listening to yourself will make your magic stronger.
