"I understand," Lance sighed gently, offering her his hand. "If I could control your dreams, I'd make all of them wonderful."
Keith's lips curled into a smile, one eye cracking open. "You are one with your lion. Remember, she knows your potential, she chose you." He opened his eyes fully, then, standing and walking around Kieran slowly and quietly so his voice was in motion.
"You are safe, she will guide you." He repeated it a few times, channeling every bit of energy he could into remaining a soothing, welcome presence.

Lance stammered he was unsure of what the creature had been, just that it had been fast and attacked without warning. Once they were finished wrapping the wound, he picked up his chest plate and slid it back on.
' ' I'm used to aliens, but not demons . . . or is that just what you call creatures on this planet? Or am I on some weird Earth? ' '
He pulled himself up onto his feet and extended a hand down to Kagome.
