"Welcome to the firefight." His tone was flat, eyes flicking back and forth from what he was doing and the person before him.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Keith held his hands up, taking a step backwards. "Friend or foe?"

"Hunk!" Keith's eyes lit up, if only for a moment at the sight of someone familiar. He let out a heavy sigh, placing his hands on the other's shoulders. "It's good to see you, man."

"Pidge!" Keith rolled his eyes, frown deepening, though there was a look of fondness in his gaze. "Give me back control of my consoles, short stack. I can't fly in these conditions!"

Keith's head snapped around, eyes locking on to whoever had managed to catch him off guard. "What're you doing here?" His tone was flat, though his eyes betrayed his curiosity.

"Lance!" The excitement in Keith's tone was almost evident. "Lance, can you hear me?! I'm on my way to the Castle! I have good news!"

Cautiously taking off his helmet, Shiro smiled gently at the person before him. "Hello," politely, he bowed his head.
"We are the paladins of Voltron."

"Shiro!" Keith called over the comms, frantic, really. "Come on, someone!"
@lunarburnt heard the call!
"Keith! Good to see you!" Shiro beamed, offering a hand.
@bladeburnd found the coalition.
Kolivan paced, he'd been looking for the paladins for days it seemed like now, and, finally having found them, he seemed restless to say the least.
"Keith," he extended a hand. "Good to see you."

Shiro scrambled to collect everything that had spilled forth from the dropped crate, rolling his eyes at the laughter that followed him.
"Be right with you-" he nodded to the newcomer.

' ' Huh? Oh ... is there something you need? ' ' Keith asked, casually, raising the mouth covering of his helmet so he didn't sound entirely muffled. The air here was breathable, thankfully.

' ' Keith!!! ' ' Lance beamed, a laugh bubbling from deep in his chest. ' ' Good to see you, man! ' '

"You sure about this, Shiro?" Keith sighed, one hand on his hip, the other hanging loosely at his side. "I mean, we've got all the time in the world. We don't have to rush anything."

"Am I doing this right?" Shiro asked, hand almost trembling as he added the measuring cup of flour to the bowl. He didn't want to mess up the first thing he'd be baking with one of his teammates.

Keith steadied himself after sliding into the room in his socks. "Welcome back!" He beamed, unnaturally happy for once in his life. "How was planet side?" He flopped down onto the couch of the lounge room, pulling his legs up to their chest.
