Keith steadied himself after sliding into the room in his socks. "Welcome back!" He beamed, unnaturally happy for once in his life. "How was planet side?" He flopped down onto the couch of the lounge room, pulling his legs up to their chest.

Keith nodded along politely, resting their chin on their folded knees. "It was pretty smooth," he started, adjusting the way he was sitting if only slightly to be more comfortable. "Coran was pretty insistent on playing Monsters & Mana when you guys got back. He said you'd probably really enjoy it. Not sure about that one, it sounded pretty...odd." Keith was being nice, of course, it had sounded like a terrible idea to him.
He unfolded and hopped up, moving to one of the wall panels and hitting a few buttons - out popped a cup and it was filled, albeit slowly, with steaming tea.

Shiro busied himself in the kitchen again, getting everything as ready as possible before their guests arrived. He stifled a yawn as he removed the chicken from the oven and sat it on the stovetop.
The doorbell chimed, and Harro darted at the door from their charging port. "Guests here! Guests here!" It chimed, giggling artificially.
Shiro dried his hands and made his way to the door, stopping for a moment to check himself in the hall mirror and adjust his coat. He was in uniform for this, as it was the most formal thing - aside from the suit he'd worn for their wedding - he owned.
Keith sat up, shimmied off his shirt and squished himself out of their binder before pulling the shirt back on and tossing the constricting article of clothing onto the chair at the desk. He didn't care if Shiro saw him nude; wasn't the first time, wouldn't be the last, and with the amount of alcohol in his system, care was thrown out the window a long time ago.
They scooted back against the wall and patted the bed. "You're welcome to lay with me, Taka. I don't bite, promise."

Shiro rolled up his sleeves and shook his head, the table was set, dinner was cooking, and Libby was prancing around him like her life depended on it. He sighed, holding on to the back of one of the dining room chairs for a moment. He'd not been feeling 100% the past few days.

"Nope, only thing left is dinner."
