Callisto: If I Say I Love You, Will You Say It Back?

Callisto: If I say I love you, will you say it back?

Penelope: Yes.

Callisto: I love you.

Penelope: It back

*Five minutes later*

Reynold: Why is Callisto crying face down on the floor?

Eating While On Shift Is Not Permitted, Staff Are Told. If The System Detects No Keyboard Stroke And

Eating while on shift is not permitted, staff are told. “If the system detects no keyboard stroke and mouse click, it will show you as idle for that particular duration, and it will be reported to your supervisor. So please avoid hampering your productivity.”

A training video about the webcam system, seen by the Guardian, says it “monitors and tracks real-time employee behaviour and detects any violations to pre-set business rules, and sends real-time alerts to managers to take corrective actions immediately”.

Capitalism is so exhausting

In The English Translation, Siyeon Herself Notes That She Ignored The Option To Turn Off The Dialogue

In the English translation, Siyeon herself notes that she “ignored the option” to turn off the dialogue boxes. I’m willing to bet that she started to get so frustrated at dying to Callisto especially so often that she completely forgot she could turn it off which just led to her dying even more lol. But I am kind of curious as to what sort of dialogue options would have popped up in her interactions with Winter and Callisto.

VADD crack theory #??? (I don't remember if it's 3 or 4 lol)

I was reading the VADD novel and just realized that the setting to disable dialog option was also available for the normal route. I always thought it was a hard mode exclusive setting... So I was wondering, since in episode 5 (manhwa) it's mentioned that Siyeon hadn't advanced enough in the Callisto, Winter and Eckles routes, what if that it was related to the fact that she did not deactivate the dialogue option and that is why this message pops up?...

______________________________________

My other theory had already been mentioned above; I mentioned that there was no way for Siyeon to quit the game even if she made it through hard mode, so I thought of another way that would also not let her quit the game: the hidden ending is automatically activated when you clear hard mode...

Plus,

Another theory tied to this, if you unlocked the hidden ending in Siyeon's world, you would automatically transmigrate into the game...

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.

By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.

I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?
